Star Wars: Revan's War IC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

"I can hear the love, beneath your hurtful words. I know Master Lun's voice, too, of course." Kai-wan ventures a tentative, gentle hand on her shoulder, yet he knows it lacks the warmth and intimacy of life. May as well try to use the Force, K-1.

"He needs us now, more than ever. Perhaps he knew he would, and that is why he sent us away."

Yeah sure. Whatever. The computer?

Zoroku was surprised though not visibly by Muu's uncanny timing, " Well it's good to know that two more of us live. " He would respond himself into his comm, when the conversation was finished Walden would reveal that Oola's location wasn't to be shared out loud ' That's odd... What could have happened to Oola that would be needed to be kept secret? Judging from her temper she could have gotten into trouble ' he thought his hand resting on his chin , " Very well then, we shall speak somewhere more private." He awaits Walden to lead him to a more private location.

Due to close proximity, Walden's response could be heard by Gaze and Muu over the comlink . The Iktotchi remained silent as he glances up briefly towards his peer for a reaction. " Good to hear Katttadik & Zoroku are doing well " he manages to utter. Looking back down, crestfallen, Muu reflects on Matt's last request. To aid his resolve against the Darkside. " Could Matt of seen the events which were to transpire in his visions? " he questions to himself. Curious as to what the young seer may of foreseen, he knew the human served the Order and Republic to the very end. " May you both rejoin with the Cosmic Force, friends " Muu thinks.

Gaze pauses at the mention of more of their Order dying, processing that along with all of the other events in the past 24 hours for him. He makes no comment, but proceeds to move towards the nearest patient who seems to be in need, and starts to assist the staff with treating them.

The foreman would nod gratefully to Zoroku as he dabs at his head. 'Well the work will not be glamorous, but I suspect the men will need help dealing with dead. If that problem is not resolved soon we risk disease and even more death'. He would glance around the large room, pausing as he sees those already covered with sheets. 'I fear we may not be able to give all the send off they rightly deserve. Many were already lost to space, so many'. The sorrow in his voice is clear, even to the Chiss. He would clear his throat as he composes himself before continuing. 'In the mean time, I will see to it that a shuttle is prepared to take you and your two fallen friends where you need to go. It's the least we can do after all the work you have done'.

As Walden approaches the gathering the foreman would look quite surprised at this update. 'I am sure that the investigators the Republic will eventually send will be most grateful for your capture master jedi. For now though, I must worry about the survivors of the-, my station. They are the priority, I am sure you understand'.

As they talk an middle aged woman in the overalls of the engineers skids into the room, panting for breath. 'I need engineers who can walk! Quickly! One of the Interdictors reactors has been compromised and it's still docked to the station!' Without a pause ten or so of the injured would stagger to their feet and follow her out of the door to try and prevent more destruction. There are some things even the jedi cannot solve, and this task sounds like something that only the training these individuals had could resolve. The foreman would sigh heavily as he watches them go. 'There is still so much to do, I hope we recover'.

With that the foreman would be called away by another member of the station to deal with yet another issue. The jedi are left alone now, though two of the guards do not take their eyes of Kataddik or Zoroku. They seem to be following the last orders of the lieutenant before his abrupt departure.

Walden asked one of the medics if he was good to be out. As soon as the medic said yes, Walden thanked the medic and walked up to Zoroku and Kattadik.

"I'll meet you outside, then," he said to his fellow Jedi, watching what the guards would do. They might be trying to follow those two. Wonder if I can help them out...oh!

He walked up to the guards and said, "Uh, sorry to bother you, but question: You know where the 'fresher room is? Even a Jedi needs to answer to the call of nature."

Hopefully Kattadik and Zoroku get the hint.

As Gaze runs off, Muu decides to visit the sector admins office. The Iktotchi became curious how the very resourceful Besalisk was doing after the raid. After all, without his cooperation, the interdictor may very-well of been in the darksider's control. The young padawan sought to thank his new ally and finallly explore outside of the med-bay.

Gaze spends the next several hours performing ministrations to several patients. Given his status as a non-staff, they don't allow him near the critical patients, seeing as they are unaware of his skills. This doesn't bother Gaze, and he spends several meditative hours treating the injuries of a handful of patients, with serious, but non-fatal injuries. He mulls over the events of the recent incident, and his part in them. The cries of pain from the nearby patients sometimes causing him to flinch, as they would echo his thoughts of the three people he killed, and the sounds they made. His hands shake as he tries to apply healing gel and a pressure bandage to one patients arm, and it takes him a few moments to compose himself again. Don't think about the ones you've lost. He thinks to himself, quoting an old mantra from his Master. His deep Ithorian voice resonating in Gaze's memories. Focus on the ones you can help. Noone can save everyone, and you might have to make tough decisions on who to let go, in order to do the most good. You might not be directly responsible for the state these people are in, but you will be responsible for how they recover....or if they recover at all. It's a heavy burden, but I have faith in your ability to shoulder it Gaze. Gaze's breathing catches in his throat for a bit, as he considers the fact that for the first time, he is directly responsible for at least some of the people who were injured in the battle. Though none of them would make it to any medical facility for treatment. He absently wondered what the Republic's policy was for disposing of the remains of hostile combatants, on a space station in the deep reaches of space. He wonders if the bodies of the three men he killed are now just floating out in the cold of space, forgotten to everyone....well, everyone but him.

He shakes his head, forcibly removing the thoughts and focusing on the present moment. "Focus on the ones you can help Gaze" He says to himself, under his breath. His resolve restored, Gaze applies himself to the patients in front of him, and lets the past be for now.

Zoroku nods to the Foreman as he heads off, " Time heals all wounds Master Foreman. It's only a matter of how long it takes." He looks to walden as he a prroaches and notices that two guardsmen have been staring at him and Kattadik their sight unwavering. " I will meet you outside." as Walden heads over to the guardsmen to talk, Zoroku takes a second to lock eyes with one of them as they watch his movements, ' As I had suspected, he turn his gaze immediately when he thinks I've spotted him. Well then Let us Hope Walden can distract them' He turns to leave the room as soon as Walden starts speaking, He however waits to the side of the door which he exits expecting the guards to follow if Walden doesn't Distract them.

Kataddik also takes note of Walden's and Zoroku's actions, and follows Zoroku.

As Gaze works tirelessly in the medi centre the flow of mortally wounded would begin to slow. It seems that many had either tragically passed before the doctors could reach them in time or were being rushed to other centres around the station now the administrators were working again. Still, he did his part, and helped ease pain and give his patients a significantly better chance of recovery. In the time given after his near death experience it was a commendable effort. It seemed that others agreed with this assessment, because as he finished with his last patient he would feel a gentle grip on his shoulder. Looking he would see a male Devaronian offering him a gentle smile. Though he was bloodied and looked exhausted, he was recognisable as doctor Mar Vor from before. Incredibly the doctor seemed to have survived the day. 'It seems you have been putting some of us to shame' he would joke as he would carefully guide the young padawan to a bench set into the wall. Sitting Gaze down he would join him with a slight sigh. 'I have to admit, I never expected something like this to happen here. I thought we'd all seen the end of war. Foolish thinking I know' he would say with a chuckle, not looking anywhere but ahead. As an afterthought he would reach into his pocket to produce a small flask, offering it to Gaze. 'Don't worry, it's not booze' he'd say as he holds it out.

Muu would find it tricky to traverse the corridors of the station as he made his way to search for the Besalisk. Rubble and bodies were still everywhere, and the station security and republic troopers were working together to block of some of the areas where no one could pass. Eventually he reached the control room, though it was not how he remembered it. The room was a mess, blaster marks peppered the walls and most of the consoles had been smashed. A few would spark every now and then, but other than that, there was no sign of life here. Certainly not from the administrator who had helped him. Outside the room individuals passed back and forth as they dealt with their own troubles, none would stop to offer any answers to the jedi.

Back with the wounded, the two soldiers watching Zoroku and Kattadik would turn their attention to Walden. They would look mildly surprised by his request, and would turn to look at each other. 'Er, yes sir' one would finally manage. 'We'll show you where it is'. With that one would place a hand on the jedis shoulder to guide him out of the room before releasing him and guiding him down the corridor to a sliding door set in the wall. 'We will escort you back when you are ready' the second would state as they arrive. So on the one hand they may no longer be watching his friends, but they are now watching; or at least waiting, for him to return from his business. It's an odd trade off admittedly.

Aboard the Interdictor barrelling through hyperspace, there would be a faint ping from the terminal Kai-Wan was working on. A soft male voice would be heard from the console. 'This console is locked to the identity of Acolyte Agrosa'. As it says this a small holo image would appear of a serious looking women draped in black robes. She looked to be a similar age to Oola, and a lighstaber could clearly be seen connected to her belt. She was slightly shorter than average, and the hood on her robes hid any hair she may have. Her skin was light orange, and was covered in large blocky black tattoos. As the image hovers there the voice continues to speak. 'Please re-enter pass code, or this terminal will be forced to contact security'.

Gaze would hide his stab of pain as Mar Vor gripped his shoulder, reminding him of his own nearly forgotten injuries. Later he would have to see to his own care, but for now, a bit of soreness and pain was the least of his problems. He would sigh heavily and smile at the doctor at his first comment. "Just doing what I was trained to do. This...." he gestures at the ward and it's current state. "...is pretty familiar for me..." he gets a little quiet. "...though it's the first time I've been on the front end of the conflict that leads to this state." He takes a seat as he is guided, and listens to Mar Vor's comment about war. Gaze takes the proffered flask and then holds it up in a small toast. "If wishing people would stop killing each other makes you foolish, then call me a fool as well." He takes a sip of the liquid. "We don't have a policy against alcohol you know. If that's what you were worried about." He hands the flask back and looks around the facility. "So have you received a casualty report yet?" His tone tired and resigned, assuming it would be pretty bad based on the current situation.

Walden does his business, then goes back to the guards. He really did need to hit a refresher after the whole battle...and then some for managing to pull the guards away from Zoroku and Kattadik.

"Thanks," Walden says to the guards. "So, you two doing alright? It was a tough battle, after all."

The doctor would chuckle faintly at Gazes response. 'I was actually more concerned about your age' he would admit. Too often amongst jedi it was easy to forget that almost all padawans were still little more than children. Despite this so many of them were flung into these frankly terrible situations. Such was the life of a jedi, one of sacrifice in the name of protecting the Republic and bringing balance to the force. The drink Gaze had been given tasted sweet, fruity even. It seemed that the doctor had a sweet tooth.

'We haven't even started the casualty reports yet. We have too much to do keeping the living, well, living. We'll get to it as soon as we can, but for now', his voice trails of at this. With a sigh he pushes himself back onto his feet before turning to smile at the jedi. 'You've done a lot of good work here Gaze, but with your injuries you really need to rest. Maybe you should go find your friends, see how they are. You can keep the drink'. With that the doctor would straighten up before turning to go back to work.

Elswhere one of the guards would grunt in response to Walden's question. 'This wasn't our first battle. Most of us in the security teams are veterans of the Mandalorian war. We've dealt with worse'.

'This'll be your first battle though, won't it' the second would add. 'Didn't the jedi kick out those who came to help us in the war?' Their tones were neutral, as were their faces. They seemed fairly professional, perhaps why the lieutenant selected them to watch the jedi.

"There. See? Acolyte Agrosa. Whom I hope you can passably impersonate. Keep your back to the door, and your hood up, and be prepared to scare off a security detail. I believe the common vernacular is 'We're about to have company.' A glib expression, I find, that often understates the gravity of the situation. Hmm.. Those markings are definitely Sith.. probably passed the Rite of Pain, or somesuch dark nonsense.. Ah! I believe our company has arrived. I will get the door."

Kai-wan moves to confront whoever has come to investigate their intrusion. Not Mistress Agrosa, herself, surely..?

"It is my first battle, yeah," Walden responded. "And the Jedi did."

Walden though about the second guard's statement for a moment before answering.

"Between you guys and me...I believe that the Council should have taken them in after. I understand some of their reasons, but kicking the ones who decided to protect the Republic is like a stab in the back. All they wanted to do was to help."

It was something that had bothered him when he was with his Master, where many would be left by the wayside in the course of their peacekeeping operations. And it was something that Walden held deep down.

If Master Sellas did intervene...would the village have been saved? Would my friends and parents still be alive today?

"After escorting me back to the medbay, would it be okay if I can go? I want to check on the pilots, see how they're doing."

Wan I... Wait, what? The Force are you talking about..... Stop being a idiot. What's going on? Who's the hussy on the holo? Who's coming? Stop trying to be a hero!

Gaze nods at the doctor's words, and keeps the flask as instructed. He gets up, wincing slightly, and makes his way back towards his quarters. He chimes in on the comm system they were sharing. "This is Gaze, I'm recovered from injuries, going to change real quick and then I guess if anyone needs me I'll be around." With that, he tiredly walks to his quarters, and gets a shower and change of clothes, along with some food. He spends some time in his quarters, meditating and trying to center himself again, after the events he's experienced.

It was obvious to Muu if the sector admin had survived the battle, the Besalisk was clearly duty bound to more pressing matters. Scanning the debris upon the floor from the sabotaged controls, he looks up to notice numerous individuals rush by with their own troubles. " It may be best to retire until things begin to stabilize; I believe my presence may only hinder their progress. Once the long range comms are re-established, I'll be able to report to the council our status " the padawan thought. Deciding to return to his quarters, the Iktotchi sought to recuperate by catching some rest. Laying down to revitalize, he sets the comlink to his side, and closes his eyes.

Aboard the Interdictor the console would repeat itself as the pair discuss their plan of defence. 'Please re-enter pass code, or this terminal will be forced to contact security'. These consoles rarely wait long before enacting their security protocols. If they are planning to disguise or hide themselves, their time is very limited. They could soon be facing sith soldiers, or worse.

Back on the Foerost station one of the guards listening to Walden could be seen to nod slightly in response to his views o the exile. At his request the pair would exchange glances before turning back. 'Sorry sir. The lieutenant gave orders that we were to keep an eye on you jedi till you're off the station'.

'It's not that we don't appreciate the help in the battle, but the lieutenant is our S.O., he's done well by us you know'. Though it may be disruptive to the padawans plans, the loyalty was commendable if nothing else. With that they would lead him back in the direction of the triage centre.

On the walk back, all of the padawans comlinks beep in unison. They would be broadcasting a message to them at the same time. 'Padawans, the foreman has requested your presence in hanger 4-C as soon as you are available. If you cannot find it a member of security will be able to show you the way'.

Kataddik heads to Hangar 4C.

Gaze finishes up his meditation as he hears the message, sighing to himself. He gathers his things into his carry bag, assuming being asked to meet in a hangar probably means they are leaving. He tosses the bag across his back, adjusting the strap, and puts his lightsaber on his hilt. Walking out, he checks a nearby terminal for directions and heads to hangar 4C

Zoroku upon hearing the order makes his way along side the Wookiee Kattadik, " That could very well be our ship, let us go Kattadik, once aboard I'm sure Walden can describe to us why Oola's location is to be kept under such secrecy." He looks up to the Wookiee, " Do you happen to have a clue as to where she could be?" He questioned as he scraped his chin.
