Star Wars: Revan's War IC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

As the sith blade clatters to the floor, the commando would reach for the pistol on his belt but would be forced back with a yelp, holding his arm out in front of him defensively as he tried to cover the damaged segments of his armour. Again he would reach for the pistol and level it in the direction of the Kataddik's chest. He was about to fire, but for some reason he would pause, glancing at the leader.

'Sire, the si-'

'I heard it' the leader would snap, cutting off the commando. The three would back away a few steps in unison, putting some distance between the jedi. 'I don't think we'll be doing that blue skin. But I'll tell you what, we will take our leave now.

With that, the commando would reach for one of the grenades attached to his belt, and would throw it behind him at the window at the end of the room. As he does, the other two would crouch slightly in preparation for the explosion.

There was a loud bang, followed by an explosion as the grenade erupts, shattering the glass. The injured soldier would offer Kataddik a casual salute before the vacuum of space sweeps in to ****** at everything in the room. The commandos would make no effort to stop this, and would be hurled into the inky blackness. Their suits would keep them alive for a while, most likely till a shuttle could come to collect them. The dead and wounded republic soldiers were less fortunate. The corpses would be torn from their place on the floor and out into space, along with a large amount of the technology and debris in the room. A few here and there would get stuck here and there, saved from space. The jedi would have to act fast to save themselves.

On Corouscant, the dock worker would pause in loading a trailer with crates to glance at the two newcomers. 'Arms? You're a little young to be asking about that kid?' He'd take a longer look at Ryff for a moment before sighing. 'If you really want to look for that stuff, you're best asking in the admin office. The guys in there, they know everything about what goes on in this place.

"See, K-1.. That's how it's done," the Jedi pilot instructs.

"It was my idea," the security droid quips back, lamely, processing his own next move..

Chatter on the comms indicates exiting the hangar, into space, might be a timely move. Floating friendlies, fleeing foes.. No time to wax poetic, at any processing rate.. and a particular absence in the radio chatter strikes him as worrisome.

"Mistress Oola.. Are you well?"

The com would be silent for a long while, and then a womans voice is heard. It's not Oolas, the voice is quiet, shakey and scared. 'H-hello? Who is this?'

Not well, then.

"I am Kai-wan, droid companion to Mistress Oola Seena.. from whom I was expecting a response. Please explain your.. situation."

As the Glass Shattered from the explosion of the Grenade Zoroku's perception of time slowed as his brain immediately recognized the danger. The force of the rushing air knocked bot Kattadik and Zoroku off of their feet, However the Wookiee with his climbing claws was able to quickly grab hold of a wall in the Command Center, Zoroku was not that lucky as Chiss did not posses climbing claws and Republic Architecture was very smooth and frictionless giving him no opportunity to grab onto anything. However Luckily for Zoroku he was further back in the room when it started its Catastrophic depressurization, he aimed himself to get caught between the command console and the window reaching desperately for Kattadik, but he was just out of reach of the Wookiee.

As the transperisteel window shattered, Kataddik was pulled off his feet towards what seemed like certain doom. After one unsuccessful attempt, the big Wookiee finally managed to get a solid grip and keep himself from being sucked out into the void. Seeing his ally faulter, Kataddik reached out with one powerful arm and grabbed Zoroku before the young Chiss was hurled to his doom.

Through the coms ever so faintly in the background Kai-wan hears "AHHHHHHHH **** STOP JABBING ME YOU ******* PRICK I"LL SCOOP YOUR EYES OUT YOUR HEAD AND SHOVE THEM UP THOSE SITH ***** ******* BACKSIDES"

"Everything good, K-1? I'll need to take the shuttle you were in if I'm going to have to pull Muu and Gaze out of the Interdictor. Are you coming with me or is there somewhere else you need to be at?"

Raithe thanks the dockworker before heading to the administrator's office with Ryff.

Ryff nods to the dock worker, then turns to follow Raithe. As they head to the Administrator's office Ryff starts thinking, "I wonder just how far this corruption goes."

The timid on the voice would return to the com as Oola seemed to be stifled. 'This is private Blafil of the Foerost security force. You friend has been moved to one of the assembly floors where we're carrying out triage. There's a lot of injured but she is resisting treatment. The bodies of your other jedi friends are here as well'. This would be a confusing statement, hadn't Svae and Gunda died outside of the station? Unless something else had happened.

Oola would be able to see what had happened, or at least the aftermath. The bloodied bodies of Mat Skywalker and Tiberius Rook had been brought into the large sprawling structure that was the assemble rooms of the station. Huge areas dominated by machinery and assembly belts, and now the dead and injured. The bodies of the two jei had been covered with sheets shortly after their arrival while the medics did what they could for the injured.

While the jedi in the command centre clung for dear life, the red light set in the ceiling would activate, and a few moments later the emergency energy field barrier would slide across the window, re pressurizing the room. The pair would drop tot he floor, along with the remaining bodies and machinery in the room. For now they were safe, but the jedi's adversaries had escaped.

In fact most of the sith all across the station seemed to be falling back, shuttles rushing back to the interdictor, this battle did not have long left it seemed.

They were not safe yet, after a while and a lot of dragging of the unconscious Gaze, Muu finally reached one of the ships service hatches. According to the deck plans, this was usually used to access fuel dumps, but as it was right now, it would vent the pair straight into space. The ship shook violently beneath them, and he could hear a loud explosion in the distance, it was time to act, and fast.

On Corouscant, the two jedi would reach the small square office building in a few moments. There was only one room, with a number of desks, although there was only three people at work currently. Two women and one man, all humans and all dressed in the uniforms of customs officials. It's not who you would expect to be involved in illegal smuggling, or perhaps you would. They are all busy at work with computer terminals, and don't look up at the newcomers.

Letting go of Zoroku, Kataddik searches the room, taking care to check each of the “bodies” for any signs of life.

"Thank you for the update, Private. Please put Mistress Oola on the com."

"Private channel, Mistress." Kai-wan requests, when he hears her voice, making the appropriate adjustments to his hardened comlink.

"This attack is disturbing, and I intend to investigate, from within. To facilitate this, I will be heading back to the Sith fleet with the other shuttles. It is a dangerous ploy, but I can pick you up, if you are inclined to join me? You must process this request quickly, though."

The droid is genuinely torn between wanting her along for the mission.. yet knowing it might not end well...

As Kataddik searches the room, he would find no survivors. They all seemed to have succumbed to the wounds of battle. There was also no sign of the admiral. Perhaps she had been taken by the soldiers earlier, perhaps she had been lost to space, it was impossible to tell at this stage.

From somewhere in the station an announcement would come across the speaker system of the station. 'Enemy combatants are falling back to the interdictors. The ships seem to be preparing for hyperspace'. It didn't seem like the sith would be hanging around for long.

Hearing the announcement, Walden would get the shuttle K-1SO piloted ready for takeoff.

"Well, K-1, you coming with me to get Gaze and Muu or is there anywhere else you need to go?"

"Let me get this straight.. You have now crashed two vehicles, and wish to be welcomed aboard my commandeered shuttle? Splendid!"

Acquainted with more than five million methods of communication, K-1 has only recently begun appreciating the finer nuances of sarcasm. "Lowest form of wit.. but the highest form of intelligence." Indeed. And idiomatic expressions, it would seem:

"Third time's the charm."

"Mistress Oola? Last call."

"To be fair, I ditched the first one." Walden said while he finished getting the shuttle up to take off at any time. "But yeah, third time's the charm."

"Is your mistress going with us? I'll have to punch it and speed right out the hangar, but it's possible."

Oola shoulder-butted the hapless private aside and took to the coms. "WHAT THE ACTUAL **** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! GOING TO THE SITH?! YOU BETTER PICK ME UP SO I CAN RIP OUT YOUR ******* ***** PARTS AND ******* TO SOME *******! GET OVER HERE!"

"Times like these, Mistress, your ******* language skills rival my own."

Looking around the room Zoroku surveyed what chaos the last battle in this room brought, he was looking for any clues as to what may have happened to the Admiral, ' From the debris and scorch marks in this room, it is clear to me that the Republic was horribly outmatched, I may be able to reconstruct what happened to the Admiral However it will be difficult, a good deal of the evidence in this room may have been ejected out into space.' He would start his search for the Admiral with the door where he thought she likely would have entered from when the two of them had split just before the majority of the fighting.

Two women and one man, all humans and all dressed in the uniforms of customs officials. It's not who you would expect to be involved in illegal smuggling, or perhaps you would. They are all busy at work with computer terminals, and don't look up at the newcomers.

Raithe pulls the man from the computer terminal.

"Can I borrow you for a little while? I was hoping you could give me directions," Raithe says to the official, leading him away from his work . Out of sight of the two other workers, Raithe slips the official 50 credits, "Where can I find the most convenient arms dealer? I was told you were the guy to ask."

Zoroku's search for the admiral for a while would seem fruitless, there was no sign of her alive or dead in the room. It wasn't until he noticed the flashing lights on the central console that he saw an opportunity. Consoles like these are fit with recording systems for logs and records. A quick check of the controls on the console confirm this, and he is able to bring up a recording the battle. Unfortunately the gunshots from the combat has damaged the panel, so the recording is partially corrupted.

Zoroku can see the commander and the rooms personnel taking cover, firing out at an unknown enemy which returns fire, felling a few of the people there. The fight lasts a few minutes, with the feed jumping through section that are lost during the damage caused by the battle. The final part of the feed is the commander and a single soldier remaining. The soldier is using his com to contact someone, perhaps this was when they contacted the jedi. The scene jumps to a black robed figure stood over the commander with a red lightsaber held loosely in one hand. The figures face is hidden by their hood, but their actions are not. They slowly raise the blade before bringing it down on the admirals neck. She falls to one side while the attacker returns their weapon to their belt. The figure turns to face the door and gestures to someone out of view of the recording. The figure leaves, and a few seconds later three troopers recognizable at the commandos move cautiously into the room. This took the jedi up the point that they had arrived. It seems that they were too late to save the admiral.

On Corouscant the official would give the odd pair before him a skeptical look. 'You serious? Aren't you a little young to be asking about that kind of thing? And what's with the fur ball? Your version of muscle little gangster?' It seems that even with the bribe the man will take some convincing this is legitimate.

Walden gets the final preparations done on the shuttle. "Alright, ready to take off," he said to K-1. "Might want to strap in, I'll be punching it quickly if we're going to do anything."

Going on the Republic comm channel, he said, "To all Republic fighters in the area: this is Axe 5, I've commandeered a Sith shuttle at this point. I'll be setting the IFF system and activating the landing lights, so you know who we are. We'll be picking up some of our fellow Jedi soon as they're trapped in places. We'll be counting on your support."

"Masters Muu and Gaze. Please standby at the service hatch- we are on our way to your location, now."

Having witnessed the pilot's.. piloting.. Kai-wan follows his advice and straps into the copilot's seat.

"Mistress Oola, we will be with you shortly. Please wait with your characteristic ******* patience."

"Punch it!"

"Oh ******* bag of bolts I'll .......... Will you stop trying to jab me with that thing I said I'm ****** fine for......!" There is the sound of a scuffle and the clanck of a com unit hitting the floor as the line goes dead.
