Edited by SithArissaZoroku arrived at the hangar just as the fighter launched two missiles into the hangar bay, Pausing for but a half a second he analyzed a their Trajectory, ' The first is heading for the Dragon the second is heading... at us.' Zoroku flipped open the Communicator and shouted "Tiberius, Walden take cover now!" for once they could hear emotion in his speech instead of the usual monotone as he barked the command. Then he heeded his own warning and tried to dive out of the way of the missiles blast radius.
Oola Was still waving her hands at some of the station crew to try and close the doors when a man of a species she didn't know sudden dived into her and sent her flying across the hanger landing soundly once again on her butt. This was becoming a habit. But there was little time for a tirade of expletives, the missiles were still heading straight to the doors.
Tiberius heard the warning and stood to get up, but before he had left the cockpit he had an idea. Leaping back into the pilot seat, he wrenches the ship to block the second missile. "This is gonna suck." The first missile impacts the Dragon, causing him to slam forward into the control board, the second ricochets off and hits the roof. "Guys, I blocked the missiles." Tiberius says weakly as he slumps over, the Dragon crashing into the back of the hangar bay, luckily not wrecking any fighters or killing anyone. "I deserve some serious thanks for this."
"Thanks for the block, Tiberius. I just-"
The blast from the missiles cut Walden's sentence short. He could feel the blast wave hit him knock the air out of him, but Walden must have been near the edge of the blast; it didn't affect him that hard and he was still standing.
"Well, I hope..." Walden said while trying to get some air back in. "...the Dragon can still fly. Anyway, I'll head towards the flight hangar."
The besalisk would tap through a number of screens before a red flashing light appears on one of them. 'I could, if they were trying to open the doors from the dry dock to the station, but they're not. I don't know what they're doing'. She'd turn to face the jedi, letting her screens rest for a moment. 'Whatever they're doing it can't be good. They'll destroy everything if we let them!'
There would be the thud of footsteps by the door as Svae comes barreling around the corner, practically sliding into the room before doubling over to catch his breath.
As he arrives, his telepathic voice could be heard. 'I saw one of their shuttles dropping soldiers off onto one of the ships near by. If we move fast maybe we can catch them by surprise!'
Back in the hanger, the two missles would shriek into the hanger, their explosive payload ready to destroy anything in their path. As they enter the hanger though, the back end of the jedi ship would arc up to block their path. The first would explode on impact, engulfing the after of the ship in a blinding explosion. Glass shattered and metal buckled as the force of the impact flung the ship up over onto its cockpit.
The second would clip one of the engines, causing it to pinwheel dramatically up into the ceiling. Another terrific explosion would tear a great chunk out of the ceiling, flinging metal down on those below. A couple of the civilians nearly lost their lives as the flee the hanger, but by a miracle they manage to make it out before they are crushed.
For a moment the jedi's ship would seem to be suspended in the air until the impact of the second missile clips it. With a low moan as the metal buckles, the ship would begin to fall back down. With a dull bang, the ship would crash into the floor of the hanger, now resting on its roof. One thing was clear, this ship wasn't going anywhere. Right now, all it had become was expensive scrap. It looked like it could be repaired, but it was going to take time, and that was something the jedi did not have at the moment.
As the chaos begins to settle, the jedi would find themselves almost alone in the hanger. Only a squad of five republic soldiers remained in the ruined hanger.
After a moment the com in Zoroku's hand would begin to talk to him. It sounded like the admiral speaking. 'Jedi, are you all alright? We have reports of an explosion in your hanger. Anyway, I hope you're ready for combat, there's a shuttle from the enemy ship heading to your location. It'll be there in a few moments'.
Meanwhile, those who were making their way to the starfighter hanger, their journey would be a fast one. Though the station would be shaken by explosions, the trip to the hanger would not have them see any enemies. The fighter hanger itself looked to be in a better state than the jedi's. Other than a few sparking wires here and there, it seemed to be relatively undamaged, along with the few fighters that were left. Aurek's, the fastest fighters the republic had to offer'.
K-1SO is in the hangar, poised for action, but a quick calculation determines he cannot reach the blast doors in time. He looks to Oola, but she is already being tackled, in what may be a well-intended attempt at shielding her. Another calculation reveals that further movement would be of little value in warding off the coming blast. For all the galaxy, it looks like he is gazing in awe, at the antics of the Jedi in the starfighter. The droid stands still, as the explosions wash over him like a wave. Just as he recalculates the surprising odds of surviving totally unscathed, a rivet grazes his pauldron, leaving a tiny scratch. "Well. That was anticlimactic."
On 3/30/2018 at 9:45 AM, SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION said:"I deserve some serious thanks for this."
"Thanks. Seriously. Now make yourself useful, and remove my restraining bolt. Some bearded blue bully is getting fresh with my mistress."

"Never a moment to rest with you is there, K-1?" Tiberius mutters, "How about we worry about the battlecruiser first, huh?"
Zoroku got himself to his feet and dusted off his armored robes, spying the young Twilek woman he ran into while escaping debris he noticed she had a lightsaber on her belt. ' Curious another Jedi... I wonder when she arrived... No matter she will be useful in repelling this attack.' Zoroku offers her a hand to help her off the Ground, " I am sorry, Miss, I did not intend to knock you over in my attempt to escape unharmed from falling debris. My Name is Kaz'Oro'Kuruozo, but you may call me Zoroku." When the communicator sounds he answers immediately, " I am unscathed, Admiral, the Jedi and I will hold this position until you will be able to reinforce it."
Then a rather Irate droid started describing him over the communicator, ' It seems she did not arrive on this station alone.' He walks up to the droid and stares ir down with his piercing Red eyes. " Droid I meant your mistress no harm, in fact due to my collision with her she isn't trapped under that bit of rubble..." he points behind him to where the both them crashed at a large piece of flaming Durasteel, " Now calm yourself, I need you and your mistress to fight off the incoming Invaders alongside the rest of the Jedi." Zoroku readied his lightsaber and his mind for the oncoming attackers.
Oola went to reach for the blue guys hand then he just walked away ordering stuff into his com and started talking to Wan.
Charming she muttered to herself as she got up.
The place was a mess, kinda reminded her of Nar Shaddaa.
HEY! Who died and put you in charge? You can't order me or Wan around.
" Now is not the time to disagree Miss." Zoroku turned to face Oola surprised at her rebellious nature, " Of course you do no need to listen to my Order since we are all Padawans here but it would be much appreciated if you help to defend this base from Hostile Invaders." He reaches to his communicator, "Tiberius will you be able to escape the Dragon or will we need to cut you free?" He looks to the wreck of the Dragon and keeps his Lightsaber ready but not ignited.
"You misconstrue my intentions." Kai-wan positions himself between the Chiss and the Twi-lek. "I thought you might require protection from my Mistress."
"I am K-1SO. You may call me.. K-1SO."
Edited by EdgehawkAs soon as Walden got into the fighter hangar, he found a flight suit that he could wear, then hopped on to one of the few Aureks that were still there. After a quick set of pre-flight checks, Walden detached the cables holding onto it and started to take off.
"Let's take it to them."
Edited by satkazGaze would enter the area with Muu and glance around, taking in the location. He would catch the tail end of the comments from the staff, and would look at Muu. "What do you think? Should we go try and meet them at the pass?"
Muu carefully listens, “ Inform us of any changes; here is my comlink frequency. Keep the dry docks secure and don’t allow that battlecrusier to dock to this station. ” he says to the Besalisk. “ Lead the way Svae. The element of surprise might foil this unknown assault ” he says to Gaze and Svae.

"Wuuh huuguughghg aaaaahnr aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh raaaaaahhgh!"
Kataddik roared
" Raaaaaahhgh uuh!"
They're trying to steal the ships!
Stop them!
The admiral would be quick to respond to Zoroku. 'I'm sorry to disappoint jedi, but you're going to largely be on your own. The station only has a small standing force, we can't hold out against an attacking force this size for long. The men in the hanger are all we can offer you. The rest of our forces are trying to secure the rest of the station'. There would be a pause before the admiral would speak again. 'Good luck jedi, you may be our best hope of survival. When you finish defending the hanger, you will be needed elsewhere'.
When Walden was ready to take to the sky, the com unit in his ship would crackle to life. It was none other than captain Bartlett. 'Nice of you to join us kid! Your jedi friend's proven more than helpful already. We've got a lot of work ahead of us kid, we need to clear the worst of the fighters and shuttles before we can even think about dealing with the cruiser. Our primary objective is to protect the station!'
Meanwhile, the besalisk would nod with a nervous expression on her face as she turns back to her screen. The situation looked dire, this entire section of the station was swamped with red markers from oncoming attackers. 'I'll do what I can jedi. The ship your friend is talking about must be the Wyrm. It's an interdictor class, and is almost in complete working order'.
As she talks she would tap hurriedly at a console on her left, brining up a map for the jedi to memorize that would lead to the ship. ' From what I can tell they've managed to land in the ships hanger, maybe they plan to start their assault there. The quickest way to the ship would be more me to unseal the dry docks docking tube for you to take the fight to them. Alternatively-' She would turn to face the jedi, a look of concern written on her face.
'You could make your way to the hanger next to the ship, use space suits to make a leap to the ship through space. It's very dangerous, but you'd have the element of surprise'.
At this Svae would shake his head rapidly. 'I'd rather take the tube' his thoughts would project'. 'I don't want to die in space today. We can fight our way through the tube perhaps?'
Edited by Rabobankrider"Wilco, Captain." Walden said, taking the safeties off of the blasters and launchers. It was going to be a tough fight.
The Iktotchi replies, " Sorry, Svae, I've recently received a nonpleasant vision in what appeared to be inside a docking tube on this station. I'd rather avoid that scenario if possible ". Further studying the map, the Padawan asks the Sector Admin " Do these space suits have gravity boots? It appears we could just walk across the docking tube's exterior scaffolding and still maintain the element of surprise without the need to jump " pointing at the hologram. Muu turns to the other Jedi, " It's hard to know but the enemy has already multiple squadrons of starfighters and a battlecrusier. It might be exceedingly wise to prevent them from obtaining this additional Interdictor class to their command. Shall we slip inside the dry docks from the exterior of the station? " he questions.
Gaze looks around and then shrugs. "Sure, why not? I haven't met my quota of insane stunts for this lifetime, might as well make some headway on it."
" Understood Admiral, May the Force be with you." Zoroku replied as quickly as the transmission came in, he took stock of what fighters he had to work with. " Kattadik, Tiberius, K-1SO, and... Miss, it will only be us and those five Navy troopers holding this Hangar for the whole attack it seems..." He looks back at the 9 others he was to hold the hangar with. "We cannot waver, the lives of many innocents depend on our success here." Zoroku moves forward to a central location in the Hangar and readies his mind for the attack, he ignites his Lightsaber and stares down the oncoming Troop Carriers. " Padawans and Droid, with me we will hold the attackers here at the front and let the Navy Troops cover us."
The scoff that escaped Oola at the blue guys speech was a lot more easily heard in the now relative quiet in the hanger.
Uh, nice pep talk there...... What was it Khan? Kappa? Kazzy? Kazzy sounds good. Relax though, ain't nobody getting past this hunk of fighting durasteel.
Oola rapt Wans chassis with a knuckle and grinned at the blue guy like a nexu that got the blue cream.
Edited by SithArissaKataddik looks dubious, gesturing about his rather large frame.
” Raaaaaahhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh aawegggghhh.”
Way ahead of you
"We can still see you, Kataddik. Your lack of pigmentation does not lend itself to blending into the shadows. Just so you know."
"HAHAHA! A battle! Excellent!" Tiberius makes his way next to Zoroku, "Finally, a little fun!" Some might wonder if Tiberius had went insane, or possibly hit his head a little too hard. It wasn't clear at this point if those assumptions were correct, but it seemed somewhat probable. Tiberius ignited his black blade and watched with a maniac grin on his face beneath his armor; it was his first opportunity to fight since this mission began, he would not squander it.
