The admiral would offer a slight nod in acknowledgment of her recognition of the battle. 'I do, but I am unsure as to how that ties into the current construction work here at Foerost.'

The Mon Calamari would nod in agreement at this as he rubs his chin with a finned hand. 'Aye, mind I can't say I'm familiar with this battle myself'. He'd shrug at this as he glances between the two. 'I served as an engineer during the war, mostly away from the fighting'. Having said that the elderly amphibian would lean forwards in his seat to take a closer look at the projection. 'Looks like a big battle' he would venture, glancing back up again.

" It has everything to do with the construction at Foerost, you of course should remember that the only models of capital ship present at the Battle of Florn were the Interdictor and the Hammerhead. Both of which are under construction here." He would turn to the Mon Calamari as he made his comments, " This battle is where Captain Haghaw became Commodore Haghaw for showing great ability in command by saving the lives of half the total personnel present despite the total loss of the fleet." Zoroku would turn his attention to the hologram before them and started to play out the battle. " Let us watch how the battle played out originally and analyze every detail, for the smallest of factors can determine the victor in any battle." The battle would rage as it did years ago with the Republic forces putting on a good fight early on, but slowly the ships would crumble to the might of the Mandalorians or it would seem that way to the untrained eye,

" How does a seemingly superior Republic fleet get destroyed by the outnumbered Mandalorians when neither Mandalore the Ultimate or Cassus Fett are leading this battle?" he would ask not expecting an answer, " Because six of the eight Interdictor cruisers had systems malfunctions, two ships 'The Enterprise and The Harmony' suffered targeting interruptions, one ship, the 'Inspiration' lost all power to shields before the battle began, two others 'The Challenger and The Resolute' were unable to move into the positions dictated by Admiral Wullf due to Engine failure and worst of all 'The Victory' the very ship Admiral Haghaw was on suffered a total failure of the life support systems halfway through the battle." Zoroku would wait a second analyzing the two before him, the Mon Calamari was impressed, or at least that was what Zoroku thought, he was not yet good at reading the species being as he hasn't had much experience with their kind. The Admiral would however look as if deep in thought.

" I ask, why then does the republic continue to construct the Interdictor?" This time the question wasn't rhetorical ' Hopefully it isn't because the Senate deems it the cheapest ship for their budget. Bureaucracy gets in the way of defense, it is why the Ascendancy doesn't utilize such inefficient forms of government.' He thought as he awaited the admirals response.

The droid takes in the bustling activity in the hangar, noting the Jedi reception in particular, while keeping at least a peripheral awareness of Oola's growing entourage. Perhaps he has spent too much time in the Twi'lek's company, but his initial assessment is much the same as her own, though he voices it aloud: "This shall be considerably more interesting than the Temple, I suspect, Mistress."

"Obviously this is where they send all the misfit Jedi. I am Kai-wan , Jedi security liason." While unique, the distinctive Mandalorian craftsmanship is apparent in the Jedi's armor. "I like your battle armor." Kai-wan nods in return, and turns its glowing white photoreceptor units toward the overly polite Wookiee. "Uhhghhgggh ahhrrnnrhhh rraauuugghhhh! Uhhnnr nrauurr nnaghhh rhrrhhur ahhrnarrh ggrrrau nnhhurr!"

Greetings, Interrupting Wookiee. An interruption at the end of a long journey is a fine thing, and but the beginning of a new one.

Oola shot a knowing glance at Wan. He was rounding up both the Jedi so she could scout out the station and get info on her new 'companions' So there was a Mando and a Wookiee in this group? What kind of situation had she been dropped into?

Well Halk, of course all us Jedi are great acquaintances with each other so there's no need for us to catch up so to speak. But I would love to know more about this station. And about the people here. She looked at the small group that had gathered. So guys where can a gal get a drink around here? And who wants to buy it for me? She smiled like a million credits and was pleased to see most of the crowd was smiling back. But anyway Halk lets not dawdle why don't you show me around? Be sure to point out all the most fun places.

Halk began to spout off an obviously practised tour guide speech, pointing out mundane parts of the station that they would eventually get to on the tour. Half listening Oola pondered what the Council had thought she was meant to do here? Was it really just to get her out their collective hair? Thrown aside like some rejected project, too much hassle to keep perusing? Anger started to try seep into her mood, but she pushed it down by remembering her last words with Lun Yeah I'm going with him and no you can't come. You have your own destiny to follow and maybe I'm not that good with the whole Force thing, but you are. And one day when the galaxy needs you I know you'll be strong enough to do whats right and what needs to be done. The Council are a bunch of hacks and cowards, but there's worse out there. Follow the Councils teachings but be yourself always Oola.

By the Force Lun did talk rubbish sometimes.

The guard to nod in response to Muu's request. After a moments thought he would respond. 'Well I suppose the sectors admin officer would be the best option for all that, stuff. Follow me sir'. With that he would go to lead the jedi along the corridors of the station. Rather than sticking to the wider main corridors, he lead Mu down a maze of small service corridors. After a while of walking down the largely deserted corridors they would reach a door set into one of the walls. The guard to tap a button next to the door and it would slide open to reveal a room crammed full of holo screens and terminals. Stood in the centre was a large muscular Besalisk with its back to them. It became clear that the Besalisk was female when she called out 'what is it? I'm very busy!' in a gruff voice.

'You're on your own jedi, she scares me' the young guard would mutter to Muu before backpedaling out of the room. The door would slide shut when he had left, leaving Muu and the Besalisk alone. She would be using all four arms to work on four different consoles. 'Well, what is it?'

Meanwhile the Weequay would listen carefully to Waldens request. Once he was finished he would turn to face his desk, sifting through several datapads before turning back with one in his hand. 'Well jedi, you're in luck. We have a few small turrets that we weren't able to fit to the ships we're working on. I'd say we could make some adjustments to them to have them fitted to your ship. I think we have some heavy blaster cannons going, or maybe a couple of ions. As for, handling was it? Maybe we can cobble together some maneuvering thrusters. That should make the handling better. It'll take time though'.

In the medi bay, the Devaronian would chuckle as he looks back over his shoulder at the quiet room. 'Well assuming we do our work properly that should be all we get. Every so often a mild illness will go around but we're prepared for most eventualities. The worst we've had to deal with was a loss of an arm due to an accident on one of the dry docks. Terrible accident, that man was lucky to be alive'.

Back in the admirals office, it would be the ship master he would respond to Zoroku's question. 'Ah, now I think I can answer that one for you master jedi. You see, the interdictor was a prototype vessel when the mandalorian wars broke out. And most of the construction was rushed so that the ships could help on the war effort'.

The admiral would chime in at this. 'The drawback; as you pointed out, is that the vessels were flawed. The technical issues were greater than the republic admiralty had anticipated'.

Again the Mon Calamari would speak. 'The reason that the Interdictors are still in use is because they have the potential to be a powerful and valuable ship to the Republic. We're currently trying to reverse engineer the ships to remove the issues that we know of'.

Halk would glance behind him again as the droid moves to speak with the other jedi. Noticing the small gathering of engineers Halk would wave them away. 'Come on, you all have work to do you know!' As they disperse he would turn back to Oola. 'Well if you're ready miss we can start the tour, sure.

He would gesture for her to follow him as he would lead her towards the exit of the hanger where one of the transportation platforms that the other jedi had taken for their tour. The tour that she was privy to was almost identical, albeit more enthusiastic come from Halk than the elderly foreman. A large portion of the tour would be dedicated to the social areas of the sector. This included the markets, the various cantinas and bars and well as the communal areas where the engineers, security and republic troops tended to gather. As the tour begun to wind to a close, the young man would glance back to Oola. 'Do you want to be taken to meet the other jedi here, or I can recommend one of the quieter bars where you can get a drink like you were asking'.

"The heavy blasters and maneuvering thrusters will work." Walden says. "Thank you for your help."

" I suggest dropping the ship altogether because even if it were preforming at its best the Interdictor would still be outperformed by the older Hammerhead cruiser." Zoroku is relived that the ship wasn't simply being continued from a budget standpoint but the Interdictor still needed to go, he sighs and addresses both the Admiral and the Ship Master. " The Hammerhead though one of the oldest ships under construction by the republic still preforms better than any model after it and certainly any model before, if there is a need for a newer ship then it should have its design heavily influenced by the Hammerhead. To show you my point I have a simulated battle to show you..." He changed the honorable projector to show the same battle but with all the Interdictors removed for Hammerheads. " This is the Battle of Florn once more but with one change all the Interdictors have been replaced by Hammerhead Cruisers, the tactics used by both sides will remain constant and so will the beginning placement of all the ships so that no argument could be made that it was one of any other countless factors that decides this battle." Zoroku started the simulation and the small holographic ships started to fight once more, where the last battle had been a complete rout of the republic forces, the simple change of the fleet to only Hammerheads made the battle a pyrrhic victory for the republic where seventy five percent of the fleet was destroyed in the battle but it was a victory nonetheless. " You should know Admiral that mutual destruction is to be avoided as it does nothing to further a war effort for either side in the conflict and simply is a waste of resources and men. But if I were to choose between mutual destruction or a rout the choice is clear." Zoroku stands ready waiting for the Admiral or the Ship Master to respond before continuing.

Terrible accident, that man was lucky to be alive'.

Gaze tilts his head at that comment, interested. "Oh? On that note, how is your cybernetic prosthetic facilities? Given the size of this station I'd wager you would have it on site? Most of my work was immediate trauma and infection based work in the aftermath of the large scale battles. We didn't really focus on cybernetics, that came after."

The Weequay would nod to the jedi, only half listening as he sifts through a myriad of notes on his datapad now. A glance from Walden would show that the officer was looking at what seemed to be a catalogue of ship parts and components. The station seemed to have an impressive stock of all sorts of components. Most of them were far to large to be cobbled onto the jedi's freighter, but the Weequay would pause on the aforementioned turrets.

'No worries sir' he would murmur as he continues. 'It'll take some time to divert a crew to the job, but I estimate we'll be done in a day or so. Until then you'll have to hang tight, but you aren't planning to go anywhere right?'

There would be a tap at the door and it would slide open to reveal the guard who had escorted Walden, would be seen standing there. 'Sorry to interrupt, I just thought you'd want to know that the new jedi has arrived on the station. She's currently taking her tour but I think that they're nearly done'. The guard must have assumed that Walden was aware of that this was going to happen. It didn't cross his mind that the jedi hadn't planned all this somehow.

Meanwhile in the admirals room, the pair would listen to what Zoroku had to say. They would glance at each other for a moment before the ship master spoke. 'I'm afraid we just build what we're asked to by the Republic master jedi. We have no influence in the decision what is or isn't built. You probably want to take that request to Corouscant, but you'll need more data and evidence than this'.

The admiral would nod in agreement. She would lean forward to tap a few buttons on her side of the holo table to bring up an enlarged image of the Interdictor. In Republic research the Interdictor when fully functional regularly outperforms the Hammerhead. The Hammerhead has served the Republic well, but it was old before the Mandalorian war, and the Republic has decided that they must look for new vessels to defend the republic.

She would stand up from her seat to move around the table to take a closer look at the battle that Zokoru had displayed. 'Unfortunately, this is only a hypothetical situation you're presenting. There's too many factors to make a reliable decision based on this alone'.

She would look up to face the jedi as she continues. 'If you truly wish to make a proposal for the discontinuation of this ship, you will need to do a lot more research. Fieldwork and such'.

At his comment regarding mutual destruction, the admirals face would actually change from being neutral to showing clear annoyance. 'I am well aware that mutual destruction should be avoided jedi. The admiralty is well versed in what is and is not considered a victory'.

She would move to take her seat again, looking across to the jedi while the ship master glances away, avoiding the situation. 'Now, is there anything that you wanted to talk about?'

Back in the medi bay, the Devaronian doctor moved deeper into the room as he talks. 'Unfortunately we are lacking in that area'. As he speaks he would gesture to the impressive away of medical equipment that was tucked neatly into cupboards and onto shelves. 'Don't get me wrong, because of our isolation the Republic has invested in the station heavily, and we are not short of prosthetics or the technology to replace them'. He would pause to face the jedi. 'I am admittedly not the most talented surgeon. My field of study was in infectious diseases you see. Ghevu; the nurse you met yesterday, she has the most experience with injuries such as that. She was a combat medic for a time during the war' he would say quit proudly. 'When such injuries occur we usually rely on medical droids to deal with such things. Alternatively the injured are sent to Corouscant for medical care and recuperation'.

Greetings, Interrupting Wookiee. An interruption at the end of a long journey is a fine thing, and but the beginning of a new one.

Turning towards the droid, Kataddik responded,

"R aaaaaahhgh aaaaahnr raaaaaahhgh. Awwgggghhh huurh uughguughhhghghghhhgh huuguughghg uughghhhgh raaaaaahhgh."

Turning towards the departing Oola,

"Huurh huuguughghg uughguughhhghghghhhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh?"

Name's Kataddik. And I understand Basic just fine. Where is she going now?

Oola sat nursing some cocktail the bartender had said resembled her preferred drink that he'd never tasted of obviously. She was still thinking about the 2 Jedi she had seen in the hanger. A Mandalorian and a Wookiee. Both Jedi. Both here. Both shoved in the back end of nowhere. It was near assured they were as misfit as her. Put here just so the Council didn't have to deal with them. Perhaps they could be allies, even friends. She was sure they too were aware they Council didn't want anything to do with them. But better play it safe. She would wait for Wan to contact her.

" This simulation is only about a week's work on the information the Jedi have in their archives..." Zoroku would respond to the Admirals questioning of the simulation. When he noticed that the Admiral was annoyed at his comments he let her vent her frustrations until it seemed she had calmed herself down. " In fact I was going to suggest to you that I would need more research to make an adequate report such as field data. For this I would need access to the bridges of several of each ship as a scientist or a civilian or what have you." Despite the Admiral getting flustered, Zoroku remained calm in dealing with her responding to her in a negative tone would likely only be detrimental to his ultimate goals.

The Iktotchi happily followed the escort through the long maze of corridors until arriving at their destination. As Muu entered the room with the escort, he would view the busyness all the holo screens and terminals at work. Grinning at the security's comment, he simply nod in acknowledgement. " Hello, I am Jedi Muu Wusun. You are the sector admin officer I presume? Pleasure to meet your acquaintance. I was told your the station's expert to see for shipyard facility schematics, evacuation protocol, and emergency preparedness plans, correct? If it isn't too much trouble, I am developing an evaluation or larger understanding of shipyard safety; primarily personnel transportation, hazard awareness, mitigation and response. For example, could you display on the holo screen how many glass corridors are not attached to the station's primary structure and their locations? The corridors to the personnel would act as if appearing suspended in space " the Padawan kindly requested.

"That will be fine, sir. Thank you for your time." Walden says.

As soon as the guard tells him about the new Jedi on the station though, Walden is taken aback. "Well, I have to admit, I'm surprised with this turn of events. If it's possible, do you know where they are right now?"

"Mistress Oola goes where she likes, in most cases. There is a ninety.. There is a substantial likelihood that her tour will end at the lounge." And a ninety-seven-point-six percent chance that her signature drink will not be prepared to her liking. But Kai-wan had found that few Organics were interested in hearing the actual odds.

"I could use some lubrication, myself, if you could point me toward the Hydraulics Shop?"

"They didn't show us that during the tour unfortunently. I'd see if you can find a map or a guide." Tiberius replies, "Hey guard, where's a map?" He asks one of the patrolling guards.

The admiral would hum for a moment as she listens to Zoroku's proposal. 'Well I'm sure the ship master here can get you some time to investigate the ships we have here, but if you wish to join an active crew, you will have to take that up with the admiralty on Corouscant'.

Meanwhile the Besalisk would hardly look up from her work at Muu's request. 'It sounds like you're looking for a docking tube. They're used for boarding vessels too big to fit in the hangers'. Using one hand she would bring up a large three dimensional map of this stations section. There was twelves flashing red marks along the outer rim of the centre. 'These are the docking tunnels that are used in this sector. 'Our safety procedures are all standard protocol used by most other stations. Is there something specific you want to know?'

Back with Walden, the guard would nod in response to his question. 'There's a bar on deck three, apparently the tour ended there. It's pretty easy to find, but if you want I can take you there sir'.

Tiberius would receive less help with his request. The guard would pass by, clearly pretending not to hear the Taung, though not pretending very hard. Though he muttered to himself 'filthy Mando' was clearly heard as he passed by.

It was at this point that a long shadow was thrown over the station. It was a ship, republic in origin by the looks of things. It was huge, almost twice the length of the interdictor ships. It could be clearly seen by the jedi in the hanger, as well as Walden and Oola. The workers in the hanger and the bar would move to stare out at the ship. There would be a low murmuring among them as they discussed the new arrival.

'Are we expecting any new ships today?'

'I don't think so, but they never tell us anything.

'That's a centurion, you hardly ever see those things'.

'Well there's no alarm, they must have clearance or something'.

There would be a beep on the comm link in the admirals office. 'Ma'am, you may want to see this. A centurion-class battlecruiser came out of hyperspace'.

The admiral would frown at this. 'Centurion, what's the ships name?'

'It's the Herald ma'am'.

'The Herald, check the republic logs for that name, and try to hail them'.

'Already did ma'am, there's no response. They're transmitting the proper clearance codes though, whoever they are, it seems they have approval from high command'.

'Alright, keep hailing them'. With that the admiral would push herself to her feet. 'I'm afraid I have to cut this meeting short master jedi, it seems we have another surprise guest'.

Oola sipped her drink, still wasn't as good as the version on Nar Shaddaa. Then she felt it. Something suddenly appeared. Some.... ripple..... in the...... Force? She turned her head toward the feeling. Toward the window. A group of people we making a fuss over there. She put down the liquid disappointment, and walked over to where the crowd was. She had to hop up and down to get a view past the taller sentients in front of her, she caught a glimpse of some ship just having dropped out of hyperspace she assumed. Squeezing between two slimmer of those blocking her, she was able to get a better view. It was a huge ship, she guessed it was part of the republic there wasn't enough commotion for it to be a non-republic ship. But there was something odd about it. Something not right. But she couldn't pinpoint why at this distance. She squeezed back out of the fold and went to leave the bar, giving the bartender a particularly vile insult about the taste of Bantha piss while heading for the way out, and fired up her comlink.

Lan? Lan!? LAN?! Pick up you rusty stu-

Oola had be so preoccupied with the ship and the comlink she hadn't even picked up the other Force user she walked into with a bump. She fell over when the much bigger Human male made contact.

Oww, Oww, OWWWWW! She swore up a storm before looking up to see the man, it was then that she was able to sense the Force in him.

Hmph, are you gonna just stand there while I sit here on my butt?

She put out her hand towards Walden.

"Filthy? I.. encountered many Mandalorian warriors while serving in the Republic Mercy Corps, and I have nothing but respect for their hygiene. Indeed, the care they take with their armor and armaments borders on fetishism.." Kai-wan pivots his head toward the Jedi. "The order has since introduced programming that.. severely inhibits my ability to dispense further mercy."

The abrupt arrival of the battlecruiser interrupts a moment that may have otherwise been awkward. "I have a bad.." This time, it is a communication from Oola that interrupts, but is cut off before a connection is made.

K-1SO immediately uses his considerable talents to race to his mistress, with a surprising agility that belies his gangly appearance.

Tiberius smiles at the droid beneath his helmet, "Thanks." Then the battlecruiser comes out of hyperspace, and in a matter of seconds the droid made his way across the hangar with speed seemingly faster than a podracer. "Kattadik, I'm going to warm up the engines on the Dragon, keep me posted."

" Yes, I'm curious if you have any records of when the last emergency systems drill was ran in this sector? Also what might be the standard protocol response for these docking tube hazards? I'm essentially interested in the average shipyard personnel awareness to mitigate error if a disaster where to arise for my analysis " Muu says, studying the location of the red blinking lights in the diagram.

" I'm certain you can help me to procure a meeting with the high command, for the dual purpose of proposing my research to them and revealing what enemies lie in the Unknown regions." He would look toward the Ship Master and nod, "I will be needing to inspect the ships at your earliest convenience, but now I must discuss with the Admiral what enemies to the republic the High Command needs to know about, I do not believe it wise for a Civilian to be privy to this information before the Navy knows what to do with it. There is no need to insight panic." As Zoroku was kindly trying to excuse the Mon Calamari out of the room the Admirals intercom would beep and the message of a Centurion class ship arriving would be relayed. '

A Cennturion... A rare ship to appear unannounced... most of the Centurions in the fleet left alongside the Revanchist... I don't recognize the name of the ship but its unexpected arrival is all the reason to suspect an attack... and if they were heading the trajectory I thought they did in the Unknown Regions this likely is an attack.' He stood in a pensive pose as the whole exchange between an officer and the Admiral transpired before him, " Admiral a Word!" as she was about to leave Zoroku stops her at the door, " Knowing what I know of the Unknown Regions... I would highly suggest readying all personnel for a fight on the off chance this isn't a republic ship... I will ready my Jedi Compatriots."

He opened his comlink and opened the channel to all other Jedi in the group his voice noticeably more serious yet still monotone, "This is Zoroku, ready yourselves for an Attack, this ship is one popularized by the Revanchist... Let us hope that I am wrong about this."

Gaze perks up when the doctor mentions his specialty in infections. "Oh really? I've had a lot of experience with that myself in the field." He leans against a wall and crosses his arms comfortably. "How well have you been able to prevent cross-species infections? In the field of a warzone, it's tricky to keep the various species isolated enough to make sure nothing spreads. Medigel helps to prevent the infections, but it seems to be a common trend among species with a similar preferred biosphere. " He chuckles slightly to himself. "I remember this one human, for whatever reason, decided he needed to hide his father's timekeeper from the invading forces. And he brilliantly thought the best place to hide it was up his...." he trails off as his comlink starts to chirp, followed by Zoroku's voice. He listens to the message, the little speaker clearly heard throughout the entire room. He frowns, puzzled. "Revanchist? Why would they be attacking? Why would they even be here at all?" He says to himself absently.

Walden approached the bar, as per the guard's instructions. He managed to get there just as the shadow of the ship came in.

Having never seen that type of ship before, Walden was awed. Was this a new type of ship the Republic made recently? It must have been in its shakedown cruise.

As Walden stands in place, seeing the view, he doesn't notice someone busy with their comlink until that person bumps into him.

As he looks down, he sees a Twi'lek swearing up a storm, comlink on the floor close by. As she looks up and extends her hand, Walden notices that the Force was with her.

"Sorry about that," he says, grabbing her hand and pulling her up. "Guess the ship took all of my attention. Seems like it's a new one."

"By the way, you must be the new Jedi that I've heard of. I'm Walden Albright. And you?"

Once introductions were done, a call came from his comlink. And what he hears from Zoroku isn't good.

"Okay, guess that's not new." Walden said, checking his lightsaber. It was going to be a long, long day.

Edited by satkaz

Oola absent-mindedly replied with her name to the Human while smacking her comlink off her palm.

WWWWAAAAAAANNNNNN!?

The Waldens own comlink cracked to life, and a stern voice barked from it.

"This is Zoroku, ready yourselves for an Attack, this ship is one popularized by the Revanchist... Let us hope that I am wrong about this."

Oola could discern 2 things from this 1. she was right to think there was something bad about this ship. 2 Who ever was on the other end of that comlink was gonna be no fun at all.

"On my way, Mistress."

Kai-wan also overhears the warning.

We are saved! Master Lun has returned for us!

Bouncing off bulkheads, weaving his way through the other now hurried traffic in the corridors, he leaps up a final utility ladder leading to the third deck.
