Star Wars: Revan's War IC

" Admiral, I would like to have a word with you, I have research that pertains to fleet construction..." Zoroku focuses on the Admiral who hasn't said much "When and where would you like me to present you the findings of my Study?" He pulls out a Datapad from underneath his armored robes as he moves to stand closer to her.

Tiberius just edges off and grabs a camera, he walks straight up to the guard holding his saber, "I'll take that." Tiberius says, it would probably be wise not to igniter the saber in the midst of anyone who had worked here before the Mandalorian raid, they would probably be able to identify its signature black blade as his, and that could be disastrous.

Muu nods at Nen Stoom, Misas Fartol , and his associates comments. He decides to excuse himself and say " I'll inform the Council we have docked ". Muu heads back up the ramp of the starship; next to the workshop to retrieve his lightsaber. He would head to communications and send at message to the Council " Master Vandar, this is Pawadan Muu Wusun. We have arrived within the Foerost system and have docked our vessel to the shipyard. I will update the Council once any progress has been made ". Satisfied, he would head back down the ramp and return to the party.

Gaze heads back inside and reclaims his hilt, popping the crystal into the device, and putting it back together, before heading back out to the hangar, eventually leading to the medical facilities.

Matt saw all of the commotion and started putting pieces together . of course!!he grabbed his lightsaber and then he started walking up to the foreman sir, may i have a word. it seems strange that you searched a Jedi ship. Unless you guys are that strict on security, you have problems on your planet. Now, we want to help. But we cannot help you if we do not know the problem. So, what ales you mate. And we can discuss it over dinner and ale

The foreman would glance listen to the jedi's requests patiently before going to respond to them. 'Well master Jedi, if you are in need of any equipment, then I'm sure we can look into acquiring it for you. There are some traders on the station currently; licenced of course, who may should be able to supply most things. However if we have any surplus in stock I'm sure we can let you have access. And if you wish to meet with our fighter pilot response units sir, I can have a guard escort you to this sectors hanger for an inspection'.

The admirals face would twist slightly in confusion at the Jedi's request, but after a moment she would respond in a bored tone. I'm not sure what a Jedi can offer on such matters, but I suppose you may come by the republic offices after your tour. I'm sure I will find the discussion riveting'. The sarcasm in her tone at this last part was poorly masked.

At Matt's question, the foreman would look worried once again. 'Well sir, any ship that enters the restricted zone around the station is treated in this manner. It's simply protocol. After the last, incident, we can't afford to let just anyone in here, even if they appear to be allies'. The whole situation seems to have the man very flustered as he mops his brow once more. 'I can assure you that there are no problems here though, I'm sure the republic arranged this inspection simply to keep themselves updated of our progress'. He'd turn to face the exit of the hanger, gesturing for the Jedi to follow. 'If you do with to talk futher, you are all invited to dinner this evening in the executive quarters. Alternatively, there are a number of fine establishments that serve drink and hot food should you wish to recover from the long trip.

As he reaches the exit of the hanger, it would slide open with a hiss, and two large floating platforms would be driven through the doorway. They were observation vehicles, long flat hovercraft that were popular for ferrying around large numbers of people. He'd gesture to the vehicles with a nervous grin. For those who wish to for the tour, please join me. If you wish to see somewhere specific, a member of our fine security force will show you the way'.

Listening to the Foreman's response, Kataddik chimed in:

"Aaaaahnr raaaaaahhgh raaaaaahhgh huurh huuguughghg huurh uughguughhhghghghhhgh huuguughghg huuguughghg huurh huuguughghg?"

Wouldn't it make more sense to use authentication pass codes?

This question would be answered by the republic officer as they make their way towards the transports. 'To issue pass codes to all relevant parties would leave us open to leaks. The codes for the restricted space around Foerost are held only by the highest ranking officers in the Republic military. If you weren't jedi, you would be clapped in irons right now. The republic believes this is the best way to maintain security of the station, we will not be taken by surprise again'.

Muu follows the Foreman exiting the hangar into the observation vehicle. He tells the Foreman “ Thank you, dinner sounds delightful ”. He begins to look around curiously at the facility as the tour starts.

"An escort will be fine." Walden said. "But I will have to go back to our ship to retrieve my lightsaber. If your escort will meet me there, I will be happy to oblige."

Zoroku was surprised by the Admiral's tone in her response, ' A young Bravo, the best way to grab her interest is to tie career advancement into it...' he looks down at his data pad and looks through the notes, ' Battle of Florn... Commanding officers... Admiral Karath, Commodore Skerris, Captain Haghaw! Excellent this will do well.' He looks back to the Admiral who so readily dismissed him, " Admiral Haghaw, I have research that concerns capital ship construction and how to improve the fleet, through my analysis of the Battle of Florn..." she looks to Zoroku when he mentions the battle, and he could see in her face the heat signature pattern that denoted interest it was slight but certainly there instead of the boredom she was broadcasting earlier " I could show you how to win that battle with the smallest of changes." He fixes his cloak and stares forward as the tour begins to move forward, ' Now to appeal to her want of advancing through the republic navy, that will certainly seal an audience with her.' Zoroku puts his data pad away still looking forward "The research I have here could be the difference of you being an Admiral for the rest of your career or reaching the rank of Fleet Admiral or even... Grand Admiral.

Gaze nods. "I just need to restock my medical supplies is all, forgot to pack it when I left. If they have those in the medical facilities that would be fine." He looks around for whichever person would be showing him to those facilities, clearly happy to be leaving the docking bay.

As the group make their way towards the transport, the officer in charge of the security detail would snap her fingers as she points at a pair of unfortunate guardsmen, stopping them in their tracks. 'You, stay with the jedi and take him to hanger, you escort that one to the medi labs'. Both would nod, serious looks on their expressions as they move to their respective subjects. Both were young, no older than the mid twenties. They wouldn't look out of place on recruitment posters for cadets and such.

In the mean time the others would board the floating platforms, ready for the tour. The guards would hang back, no space for the additional individuals to join the Jedi and the administrators. As the platforms begin to move on, the officer could be seen turning with her back to the guests, talking to the remaining guards.

As the platforms leave the hanger, the republic admiral would examine the Chiss jedi for a moment before turning to face forwards once more. 'After the tour, we can discuss these matters' she would state, concealing her emotions impressively.

The shipyard itself was an interesting structure, one that would be alien to most of the visiting Jedi. The corridors and rooms we larger than most stations, over sized for transportation of parts according to the Duros. The large hexagonal corridor they were transported down was made of a dull metal frame and reinforced glass. It provided a stunning view of space and the haunting skeletal frames of capital class ships under construction.

Showers of sparks could be seen, even from here as the tiny silhouettes of workers could be seen crawling over the ship, still busy at work. It was an impressive yet daunting sight, little more than safety cables preventing the workers spiraling into the void.

Staff and security personnel in the corridor worked along the outside of the corridors, making space for the guests. A few would pause to glance up with various degrees of interest. Many would carry on as before, disinterested, but some would stare as they passed with expressions that ranged from surprise to disapproval. The foreman would glance back, offering the jedi a nervous smile. 'I must apologies sirs, not everyone is a fan of jedi, a lot of veterans from the war took work here. Please, don't let them upset you'.

The tour was unsurprisingly a concise one. The station was immeasurable in size, and even this single sector took considerable time to view it all. By the end, everyone seemed to be visibly tired, it had been a long day for everyone there.

The first section of the tour was of the shop floor, construction, assembly and transportation. Hundred of workers from all across the galaxy was brought together here to assemble these ships. This worked ranged from delicate construction of computer consoles and ship tech, all the way to the shaping of the panels that made the outer hull of the vessels. Though most people focused on their work, a small stream of workers would begin to leave their posts, making for the exits as the shifts begun to draw to an end.

These constructions and assembly lines would make up the vast majority of the ship yards space, being the largest task on the station. These factory floors lead through to large airlocks where workers could exit the station to set to work on the ships. The tour would pause, allowing the jedi to see through the energy shield as workers began to make their way off of the ships and back towards the station.

'I must apologize, but we can't let you to examine the ships personally, not without an escort' the foreman would explain as they tour begins to move again. The union officer would nod with a grunt at this in agreement. 'I won't have our workers blamed if one of you slips and falls into space'. The foreman would interrupt the Duros with a loud, nervous laugh, shaking his head. 'I doubt that will happen'.

The remainder of the tour covered the jobs in the station that weren't directly linked to the construction of the ships. A surprising amount of manpower was devoted to administration for the running of the station. Hundreds of people sat at desks with data pads and consoles. Many were using holo devices to communicate with various people.

Then of course there was the more secure areas of the station. These included the communications complex security barracks and firing ranges. As the foreman explained during the tour, they wouldn't have time to see everything in this single tour, but promised that they would be given a significantly more extensive tour during their inspection of the station.

The final stop of the tour was the social quarters. This looked markedly different to the rest of the station. While most of it looked relatively bleak and focused solely around the areas tasks, the social quarters were a mess of vibrant colours and people. It was as if one was plunged into an inner city area of one of outer rim worlds. There were even street vendors set up within the corridors, selling all manner of oddities and nick knacks. There were shops, cantina's and large structures that housed the sleeping quarters for the workers and their families.

It was here that the foreman turned to smile at the jedi as the platforms pause in their journey. 'Is there anything else you would wish to see before the day ends sirs?Perhaps you wish to b returned to your ship for now, or we can find you some temporary lodging for your stay. You are all also welcome to join myself and some others for dinner this evening, or there are many establishments here that serve food and refreshments to the workers'.

In the mean time, Gaze had been escorted to the medi labs of this sector. It was a long walk on foot, and the robed figure attracted a lot of stares from staff. The lab itself was surprisingly well equip and well stocked. The room was stark white, the walls lined with beds. The rest of the room was dedicated to complex looking medical equipment and even a small cluster of emergency bacta tanks. The staff were all organics, and were tending to a few workers who had various non life threatening injuries.

The walk for Walden was shorter than Gaze, and lead to the hanger populated entirely with fighter craft. They were all primed and ready for an emergency scramble in case of attack. They all looked to be well maintained, though with minimal usage. The pilots and engineers themselves were scattered about the hanger. A small gathering of pilots could be seen to one side of the hanger, lounging in what looked like collapsible chairs with a radio playing near by. They were laughing and talking among themselves, while a second group had gathered around an upturned crate and seemed to be using it as a table for gambling.

"Guess you're going to gamble, Gunda?" Walden says to his Dug compatriot. While walking in, Walden spotted Captain Bartlett with others hanging around the radio.

"I'll have a chat with the ones near the radio. Have fun."

Walden approaches the ones near the radio. "Hello, Captain Bartlett, everyone. I'm Walden Albright, the co-pilot on the ship you escorted. Pleasure to meet you all in person."

' It seems I have her attention, despite her facial expression, the heat in her face tells she is at the very least no longer dismissive of what I have to say. ' Zoroku kept pace with the Admiral for the entirety of the Foreman's tour through the facilities observing the workers whom all gave different reactions to the Jedi as they passed. ' Curious, so much disdain for the Jedi in so many of the workforce. '

Zoroku spoke as soon as the Foreman was done showing them around " I will retrieve my Lightsaber and Join you for Dinner Master Foreman, then I will have my audience with you Admiral. "

The Iktotchi was amused by the entire shipyard tour inspection. The Padawan found the hexagonal view exciting as he observed the skeletal frames of capital ships being constructed. The station's construction assembly techniques were technologically fascinating to discover and view. Muu was even entertain by the various engagements with personnel. The broad array of expressions and reactions helped the Arbiter gauge the shipyard political atmosphere. The Iktotchi was aware of the perceptual notion towards the Jedi Order and internal conflicts more than most. A subject the Arbiter knew he would have to address many times in order to mediate conflicts.

The Padawan thought the best way to flow harmoniously is by the Foreman's side. He thought " I’ll room on the station to formulate an equitable report and inspection for the Council. I doubt I'll accomplish much on the Arkanian Dragon surrounded by security detail ". Muu was committed to execute his assignment and assure the Council the other Padawans could handle the responsibility.

" I accept your gracious lodging offer and will join you for dinner too, Foreman " he says joyfully, as he ponders about the executive quarters menu. " I might as well partake in all the luxuries to develop an informed opinion " he playfully jokes to himself.

Kataddik follows close behind Walden. If he wants any hope of correcting the mess that passes itself off as “security” around here, he’s going to need as much information as possible.

Gunda would flash a smile at the fellow jedi as he was already making his towards the gambling pilots. 'Only for research of course' he'd say over his shoulder. The men would look up, and after a moment of quiet talk they would make space for him. It seemed that they found the Dug acceptable enough to join them.

As Walden approaches the others, a few lazy eyes would glance up at the man. One of the men lounging in a chair would tilt his head to face Walden. He was an elderly individual with grey hair modeled in a high and tight haircut. It seemed to be popular with the rest of the flight squadron as most of the other men had it. The old man would scratch at the stubble on his chin as he heaves himself out of his chair to stand before the jedi. He was approximately six foot four, and he carried himself with a calm sort of confidence. 'You're Bright's boy' he would say in a deep voice, it was not phrased as a question. 'It's been years since I saw him'.

Not all staff in the hanger seemed to be as amicable as the squad leader. A few would clamber out of their seat or off of their improvised squats to move to another area of the hanger. A couple would be sure to let the Jedi know their views with the dirty glaces thrown their way. One would even brush roughly past the large wookie on their way. 'Whoops, my bad' the pilot would mutter as he goes.

Meanwhile, the foreman would listen to the Jedi, bobbing his head rapidly as he does. 'Well the chef will be ready soon I suspect, and there will be seats for all who wish to join. In the mean time. please feel free explore the facility or to rest int he social quarters. I will send someone to fetch you when we are ready'. At this point the officials would make ready to leave, ready to go about their business. 'Is there anything else or shall it wait till dinner?'

"Yes, I am." Walden says to Captain Bartlett, extending a hand out.

As handshakes are exchanged, Walden notices some of the pilots moving away from them. "...Not too fond of us, huh?"

Walden looks at the strikefighters and gets an idea.

"Hmm, if it's not too much of a bother, I would like to hop on a patrol with your squadron. We're supposed to be helping the shipyard improve their operations, but I think it'd be better if we got used to each other before any suggestions could be made."

Tiberius walked around the place had been greatly repaired since the raid, he shuddered at the memory. He couldn’t imagine how afraid the guards must have been, thousands of Mandalorians pouring out of the sky; landing on defense fighters while they were flying and ripping them apart the bass alike war droids acting as flying tanks to anhiliate any substantial resistance. But now he wanted not to destroy but to view the construction facilities again so he walked over to one of the guards, “Could you take me back to the construction floor, I would like to lose potassium at it some more.”

A female Devaronian in a crisp white republic uniform would move swiftly across the length of the medi-lab to greet the Jedi. 'You must be the one we were told was going to visit' she would say in a clipped accent. She would turn to the security officer who had accompanied the Jedi. 'Thank you private, that will be all'.

The young man would take half a step back, unsure of what to do. 'I wa-'

The Devaronian would cut him of with a terse look.'That will be all private. I really do not think a Jedi needs a guard, he is not likely to steal our bacta, now is he'. With that the man would turn to hurriedly leave. Once gone, the nurse would turn to face the Jedi. 'Now then young man, what can I do for you?'

Meanwhile in the fighter craft hanger, the pilots handshake would be firm, his hands wrinkled slightly with age. 'Can you really blame them?' he'd say, gesturing to the leaving staff with a nod of his head. 'Most of these boys are vets from the war. They were expecting the Jedi to help them'. He'd trail off, shrugging after a moment. 'I try not to judge, you'd have just been a kid at the time anyway'.

As the jedi makes his request the pilot would turn, gesturing, gazing out at the inky blackness of space. 'Well you're in luck kid, we've got one last patrol before the night crew take over'. He'd walk towards on the the fighters near by, a pilot sound asleep in a deck chair next to it. 'You can fly Mal's craft, he won't mind, will you Mal?'

Mal unsurprisingly made no noise as he sat there, except for a soft snore. Two engineers were crouched in front of him, and had been spending their time flicking pazzak cards at the sleeping man. Their target seemed to be his open mouth, and they snickered every time they got close.

Bartlettt would pause, turning back around to glance at the wookie. 'What about your silent friend there? Does he fly?'

As Tiberius makes his request, the guard would open his mouth to say something, a sneer on his face. Perhaps it was fortunate his partner was near by, and gave the man a sharp jab to the ribs. 'Of course sir' the second would say as he snaps to attention. 'Right this way'. Both men would turn to lead the Jedi back down the corridor they had come from. Without the platform, the journey was much longer. Against he jedi would earn some odd looks from the station staff.

As they go the first guard would glance over his shoulder. 'Interesting get up you got there jedi. Looks almost like mando armour, you know, like what the enemy of the republic wore'. The man would earn a warning look from his partner for this comment.

Gaze shifts his...well, his gaze, back and forth between the medical staffer, and his security detail, noting the level of command she utilized, and how quickly he capitulated to her instructions. Interesting, he thought. When the woman addressed him directly, he would smile and tilt his head to her in a small bow of greeting. "Nothing in particular Miss...." he glances along her uniform for some indication of a name, but sees nothing immediate, and shrugs "..well, Miss, my name is Gaze Eeboh, pleasure to meet you." He would again bow his head as he introduced himself. "We just arrived, and were offered tours of the facility. Seeing as I have no knowledge of, or skill with ship fabrication, I thought I'd come see what your facilities were like. Seeing as I have spent most of my time in places like this, it seemed the more appropriate place for me to visit." He glanced around. "Though the ones I found myself in were more...well, wartorn I think would be an accurate descriptor for them, far more screaming and chaos." He glanced around at the facility, and the apparent lack of any large number of patients, or severe medical situations. "Nice to see a facility that is waiting for patients for once." His tone clearly indicating he finds the idea of medical staff with noone to treat a good thing, and the ideal scenario, compared to the alternative.

Well frak. “Guess it kind of does, but there is no harm in respecting a defeated opponent is there soldier?” There was no response from the soldier, so Tiberius continued, “Were you here during the war, during the raid on this planet?” Tiberius gestured, “All this area ripped apart, neo-crusaders pouring through like a swarm of Naboo Bees. Republic soldiers standing in the halls desperately trying their hold them off as a last ditch effort to force the attackers to retreat. Where you there that day of battle, that day of honor?” Tiberius asked.

Spelling, stupid auto correct

"Thank you, Captain," Walden says, "though I'm not sure if Kattadik would wish to fly." He turns around to Kattadik. "Do you want to fly in a patrol or is there anything else you want to do?"

The Padawan excuses himself politely. “I look forward to the arrival of my usher for dinner ” Muu says with a slight bow.

Muu turns to one of the security guards and says “ Hello, could you please escort me to my room for lodging? ” with a smile.
