Walden points a look of disbelief at Gaze, who managed to get on the comms faster than he did.

"...Really?"

Gaze shrugs. "When in pirate country, best to speak like a pirate.....yar." He says, clearly amused. He turns as Tiberius enters, his expression going neutral for a moment, and then he simply gestures out the window at the station. "I gave them the information they wanted. We are indeed from the Jedi Council, sent here to provide aid. Perhaps I didn't follow standard protocol, but apparently neither do they, if the first person who came on is any indication of their level of professionalism. In fact that might be a sign of why we were sent here."

"All I heard was someone who clearly watched too many holovids bout pirates trying to talk like one." Tiberius grumbles, "I just hope they don't blast us to pieces. Even if we did have weapons, we don't know what they have down there."

Zoroku makes his way to the cockpit seemingly unnoticed by all the Padawans arguing, " A most unorthodox greeting Gaze." he places his hand on Gaze's shoulder. "Just because someone isn't professional on other side of the comm doesn't mean that there isn't someone who is that may be listening." Zoroku's eyes locked with Gaze's.

Gaze is clearly not at all bothered by the two other Padawan's attempting to scold him. "Really? The guy started the call threatening to make us walk the plank. Protocol is clearly not something they are that worried about. Besides I gave them the information the second person actually asked for. Given this mission was set up by the Council they're likely expecting us. " He gets up, pushing past them. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get my things ready for when we disembark. I'll see you when we touchdown." And with that he walks away.

Watching Gaze leave the cockpit Zoroku turned to Walden " I suggest we do as the Officer Chalon said and bring the ship to a full stop. " He turned on the comm and hailed the station " Officer Chalon this is Zoroku I am with the Jedi requested to oversee construction here, as you were told by one of the more..." Walden, Gunda and Tiberius could see that Zoroku was thinking deeply as if he were looking for the right word. "Excitable Padawans, This is the Arkanian Dragon we are requesting permission to dock." He muted their side of the com and awaited a response.

"Well, that was fun..." Walden muttered to himself. He wondered if just following standard Republic protocol would have been a better choice, but who knows? Maybe Gaze's crack could help out with Jedi being rather stuffy and whatnot. And he did give the information needed.

"Should have worked on the pirate talk a bit more." Walden says to himself before confirming with Gunda to slow the Arkanian Dragon to a full stop.

After a moments pause the comm link would crackle back into lie, and the voice did not sound impressed. 'Well then, Arkanian Dragon. I hope you've enjoyed your laugh because this is a serious matter. Your are not to move from your location until fighter escort rendezvous with you. You will follow their instructions to the letter and follow them to the landing bay. From there you will disembark unarmed where your identity will be verified. Any attempt to flee or deviate from the course laid out for you will be met with hostility. Is that clear?'

" I would have to say the same to the man who first opened the channel, I remind you Officer Chalon it was your men who first breached protocol." Zoroku's words were colder than usual. " We will await our Aurek fighter escort." He mutes his end of the communication.

" It seems we have a great deal of work to do on this station, judging from the trouble this Officer has with controlling his crew. " he says turning back to his fellow Padawans, ' Very unprofessional for a naval base.'

There would be no response from the comlink, but there would be a flash of light from the great grey ring that circled the planet. It seemed that the escort was on it's way to meet the jedi vessel. It was time for the padawan's to make ready for a landing.

"Hmm, looks like our Aureks are coming in from our right." Walden says while noticing the flash of light. Walden notices how fast the lights streak across the sky and gets an estimate based on his observations, the sensors on the Arkanian Dragon, and what he knows about the Aurek-class tactical strikefighter. "Less than 5 minutes, I'd say."

The 5 Aureks come in blazing through in formation, with some of them flying from the right. As one banks left, Walden glimpses a picture of an akk dog on its wing.

" Looks like the 108th Tactical Strikefighter Squadron..." Walden thinks to himself before taking control of the comms.

"This is Walden Albright, co-pilot of the Arkanian Dragon. Confirming that you're around, 108th, over."

A voice from the comms pop up, very cheerful in tone. "Hey, Cap. Looks like we're now famous if the Jedi recognize us!"

A gruff voice immediately responds. "Looks like it. Now, let me do all the talking here, eh?"

"This is Captain James Bartlett of the 108th Tactical Strikefighter Squadron. We're escorting you to Dock 21 on the Foerost ship yards, copy?"

"I copy. We'll let you lead the way, Captain."

"Good." As soon as he responds, the fighters start forming up around the Arkanian Dragon. Two of them fly in front of the ship, one fighter can be seen on sensors flanking each side, and one is on the trail position, right behind the Arkanian Dragon. Walden's guess: the guy who spoke up was the guy stuck in the rear.

"Alright, Gunda, let's take the Dragon in nice and slow. They'll be able to outdo us in just about everything at this point, if you're thinking about it." Walden says to Gunda as he preps the ship for a nice and hopefully uneventful cruise.

As the ship cruises, another comm channel from Bartlett pops up. "Hey, Walden, was it? Last name's familiar. You related to William Albright?"

"...Yes, Captain Bartlett. He was my father."

"Was...once we land, mind if I ask you some things?"

"Sure."

"Alright, good. Well, Arkanian Dragon, enjoy the sight of the Foerost ship yards."

Gaze gathers his belongings and stores them in his various pockets, given his limited belongings, this isn't that big a deal. Hearing their requirement to disembark unarmed, he dismantles his saber again, and puts the crystal onto a strand of leather, and looped it around his neck. He leaves the components for the hilt in his quarters, and gently pats the little blue crystal. "Well Shardy, looks like you're going to get a much longer vacation than expected. Not sure how much fun a shipyard will be, but if I can find Captain Scalawag, it might be more amusing."

Gaze proceeds to the common area of the ship, and leans against a wall, waiting to exit the ship.

Muu would hear Gunda over the intercom announce the Arkanian Dragon was existing hyperspace and about to arrive at their destination. Aware of the take off, the Pawadan braced himself ready for anything. Muu would feel a gentle vibrational-shift as if exiting hyperspace within the vessel to his surprise. Impressed by the smooth transition, Muu would begin to focus on his preparation to board the shipyard. As the Iktotchi gathered his things, Gwode would jump up on his bunk with the toy Muu crafted for play. To his amaze Muu noticed a slight alteration to the toy. Someone had attached a random patch of albino hair in attempt to provide it with seemingly more character. Muu would smile and chuckle a little as the Loth-Cat patiently waited for his response to his presence sitting on the bunk. The Arbiter happily used his telekinesis toss the toy off his bunk; he watched Gwode chase and pounce on the now would-be fury white toy object. Muu would quickly return his focus back to boarding the shipyard and exit the room ready to begin his mission.

Gunda would sigh, flipping the switches along the control panel to set the vessel on a steady descent towards the planets surface, flanked on either side by the nimble fighters as they were lead in by the squadron leader. 'Well, looks like it's going to be a fun job this one' he'd say with a slight scowl.

As they approach the planet, the details of the great grey ring began to come into focus. It was an impressive construction, great skyscraper buildings suspended in space, connected by a maze of exposed walkways and sealed passages.

In regular intervals between the ginormous buildings, the haunting appearance of capital class ships under construction or repair were held in the dry docks, exposed the the vacuum of space. from this distance, it looked like ants crawling over an animals carcass as the teams set to work in the inky blackness. The flash of sparks would appear at regular intervals as they worked tirelessly.

Meanwhile, blue light from the windows of the buildings would cast a pale light over the work, as if it were a watchful spotlight for the overseers and administrators. The comlink would crackle to life again. 'Arkanian Dragon, hanger 21 is open for docking. Be when you land, disembark without your weapons. Failure to comply will result in incarceration'.

Once again the comm would go silent as the bay looms into view. It was a large hanger, big enough for two of this ship to land. Past the shield the faint view of people could be seen, awaiting for their arrival. There was a lot of people, quite the welcoming party. As the ship would slowly lower itself to the ground, those in the cockpit could see clearly who was awaiting for them.

The vast majority of them seem to be military personnel, predominately station security but there are some republic troopers visible as well. There seems to be a small huddling of civilians at the back of the hanger, but they were't moving the greet the newcomers. Instead it was the armed personnel, forming a defensive line between the boarding ramp and the hanger exit. It seem the only way on was forwards.

Gunda would continue to scowl as he removes his lightsaber, leaving it in the cockpit by his seat. 'Well, here we go guys'. he'd say as he hops onto the floor. 'Let's go say hi!'

"Probably won't say hello, I'm guessing." Walden says to Gunda. The fact that they wanted every weapon on the ship means that whoever was here was either very concerned with security...or not pleased Jedi were here.

Still, there was no need to add more fuel to the fire, so Walden sets his lightsaber on the co-pilot's seat before turning on the ship's internal communications.

"This is Walden here, the authorities have ordered us to leave any weapons on the ship. That includes the lightsabers, people. Let's not make these guys get mad at us...they're probably mad already." he says before leaving the cockpit and towards the boarding ramp.

Walden wondered where Bartlett would be. It seemed that Bartlett wanted to ask questions about Walden's father, and so he was happy to oblige. First off, though, was all the formalities.

"Oh, I wish Master Sellas was here. He'd be able to handle this easily..."

Since Gaze had already went to stand near the entrance, he turns at Walden's approach, and nods his head slightly. In a low tone, so that only the two of them could hear, "Do you think they know much about Jedi? I mean, asking us to leave our weapons behind implies they aren't too knowledgeable about our capabilities."

As Muu was making his way to the ramp he would hear Walden on the intercom. The Iktotchi would pause to think " Mad at us? " . Understanding Wadlen's request he would turn to the workshop and place his lightsaber in a draw. He would continue his internal dialogue " These Naval Officer know we are peacekeepers, right? Hrmm, must be standard shipyard security protocol. The Navy probably just doesn't want the Jedi to call them out on standard operational procedure before we receive a tour ". Muu would make his way back towards the ramp and nod with a smile to all the other Pawadans there. " Time to stretch our legs. Anyone inform the Council we arrived in the in the Foerost system and boarding the shipyard? " he would ask.

Zoroku joined the others preparing to disembark after he had left his lightsaber in his room. " We have not yet notified the Jedi Council, However I am very sure that if the Officers here follow protocol they will notify the Republic and they in turn will notify the Council..." He pauses as he thinks back to the first contact with the base while he answers Muu's question, " However, I f the first communication with the Dragon is anything to go by they might not be following protocol. Muu if you would like I could contact the Council after we Introduce ourselves." Zoroku made his way to the front of the pack of Padawans, once at the front he used the reflection in the metal to fix his tunic to make sure it was presentable.

"Far from it, actually." Walden would whisper. "They probably know how effective we are with our lightsabers due to the Holonet and the War. If anything, even our Masters would have a tough time with swarms of blaster bolt fire in multiple directions without their lightsabers."

"Unless someone finds a way to take the shots, a small group like us would be fairly easy to take down."

Gaze would shrug, not entirely convinced, but not worried about it either way. Once the ship has docked, and he hears the all clear to disembark, he flips the switch to drop the ramp, and proceeds down to the docking bay floor. He looks around at the people arrayed in front of them, raises a hand in the air, waggling the fingers jovially. "Hi."

"Fine; I just finished modding it to." Tiberius says sadly as he sets his saber down in a his bunk, he still had his crushgaunts that were in his armor, but he left the blaster rifle he owned hidden under his bunk in the secret compartment where it had been for almost a month. "Let's just hope they don't try and kill us, no sabers means we'll be the ones getting pummeled with lasers."

"W uuh aguhwwgggghhh aaaaahnr uughghhhgh aaahnruh raaaaaahhgh uughghhhgh uugggh huuguughghg. Bggguh uughguughhhghghghhhgh awwgggghhh uughghhhgh huurh, uuh huurh huuguughghg wrrhw wuuh aaaaahnr huuguughghg uughguughhhghghghhhgh huuguughghg. Aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh aarrragghuuhw. "

Something about all of this seems a bit suspicious. Before anyone disembarks, Someone should try to get a read on these guys. I smell trouble.

Matt looked at the wookie, with what. Who. This isn't going to work. Personally I'm going outside. with that he put down his Lightsaber and walked out

As the boarding ramp lowers with a hiss, the men and women waiting for them. There were several ranks of armour clad security officers, all pointing rifle at the departing jedi. 'Hands in the air! Get away from the ship! Now!' the command would be echoed by the others in a clash of voices. Once the jedi moved away from the entrance, a large woman would jab one of the troopers forwards with the butt of her rifle. 'Check the ship'. After a moments pause the young man would jog up the ramp and disappear into the vessel.

As this was going on, three civilians were huddled behind the guards, watching the on goings intently. Once was a portly and balding man dressed in expensive robes. He was sweating profusely and looked as if he was about to faint. The second was a young woman dressed in Republic naval inform. Over her eyes she was a plain black reflective visor. The third looked to be a Duros male, every so often tapping on a data pad he held in his hand. 'You better hope you are who you say you are' the apparent leader of the guards would grow from beneath the visor of her helmet.

"What a lovely reception we get..." Walden says sarcastically while raising his hands up. The Republic guards hurry into the Arkanian Dragon as Walden steps away, hands still in the air.

"So, either they took Gaze way too seriously...or something about your voice bothers them a lot, Zoroku." he says to his Chiss compatriot jokingly.

And as the captain of the guards says her line, Walden just smiles at her while tilting his head a bit. "I'm pretty sure we ARE who we say we are, ma'am."

" Indeed..." Zoroku studied what was going on before him closely, " I do however know what channels to file a formal complaint." He stared at the captain with his glowing red eyes. ' Yes... Either scared of the threat of pirates or threatened by me... neither is good sign.' He thought.
