yeeesssssssss
Ah, Purrgils. Good choice in case of Thrawn.
What's that ship between the Lucrehulk and the Corellian Star shuttle? I don't recognize it.

Correct. One of the Empire's early gravity well projector ships. The only thing older, in the new Canon, is the CC2200.
didn't know Mel was doing Jameson's 12 year ?
that's a lot of plastic to paint
Personnally I'm a low roller, only a bulk cruiser, a Strike and an ISD added to the pile... Acclamator FUD painting soon to be finished

The Jameson's, while not required, enhances most any experience.
The Lucrehulk is impressive.
@cynanbloodbane can you link the Purrgils you got? I was gonna pick up a set today, but I couldn't quite decipher which size was which in Mels shop.
I'm also gonna say what the heck and pick up a shield gate. Those things are so rad.
Probably my favorite ship of the bunch is in the Invisible Hand. What an awesomely detailed model (and your paint job on it's little brother is really nice too!)

The 2 purrgil on the top are purrgil ultra, https://www.shapeways.com/product/B2J2399W6/armada-purrgil-ultra?optionId=65015382&li=ostatus
The squadron set on the right are 12 x purrgil, https://www.shapeways.com/product/U8355HHX5/armada-12x-purrgil?optionId=65015405&li=ostatus
The 4 on the left are Purrgil Chadamis, they have no peg, you would need to add one to use them on Armada bases, https://www.shapeways.com/product/X2SKR9SJ6/purrgil-chadamis?optionId=65197064&li=ostatus
And the 3 at the bottom are purrgil (1/270), intended for X-wing, so you may want the X-wing to Armada converter pegs, https://www.shapeways.com/product/QXYZCZRE2/purrgil-1-270?optionId=65017487&li=ostatus
X-wing to Armada converter pegs, https://www.shapeways.com/product/4TDDT8F28/16x-x-wing-to-armada-peg?optionId=64242728
Small base or squadron pegs, https://www.shapeways.com/product/VQB2DLJF2/arm-small-vessel-pegs-and-holes?optionId=56459148
Those pegs are excellent for converting other things to Armada. I have a set of 4 Armada scale gunstars, that just needed pegs.
Hey @cynanbloodbane looks like mel has a new separatist model you could buy.

I already placed the order. I've been waiting for that ship since Mel made his first Munificent.

When you finally get all these painted, please give us some updated photos of your fleets. We need to see how big of a problem this plastic addiction has become... and it makes me feel better that my purchases haven't gotten out of hand... yet.
Absolutely! First up will be the CSA faction, and the Mining Guild faction.
The CIS will be up next. The others will get done as inspiration strikes.
It has been a while since I've updated this, so here is a rundown of the pictures to expect next weekor so. The CSA, Mining Guild, and the Mercenary factions are almost done. As soon as I get a chance, I will post pictures. CIS is next up to finish off the smaller ships and squadrons, then a small Hapes faction, along with the Imperial Customs faction (think the Empire's version of the Coast Guard) an actual separate faction from the Imperial Navy.
To that end, I have started modeling some of the more obscure ships from Legands. My first can be found on Shapeway's.

The Guardian Light Cruiser, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Guardian-class_light_cruiser
On the horizon, my Stations, and Space Monsters expansion is shaping up nicely. (Thanks to all the awesome models from @melminiatures and @LinoB !) Those are definitely going to have a spot in an RPG style campaign I plan to run... eventually. I keep toying with the idea of making all the space creatures on appropriately sized squadron bases, that way they are only a threat at range one, but add a "Ship" key word denoting that the battery armament is to be used instead of the antisquadron.
Edited by cynanbloodbaneSeems too tall imo

Going back and looking at the pictures, I think you are right. I will see what I can do about that.
@TallGiraffe , thanks for the feedback! I think I have it more in line with the original ship now.

And now, on to my Mining Guild Faction for Star Wars Armada!
http://kdyards.com/expansions.view.php?id=684
The Mining Guild Faction introduces a new Die type for Close to Medium range. Orange Dice represent some of the more destructive, but far less accurate weapons used by the Guild. While highly conducive to cutting apart asteroids, their effects are much less consistent on engaged Capital Ships. They have the following faces; Blank, Blank, Blank, Hit, Crit, Double Hit, Hit Crit, Double Crit. The Double Crit is only intended to come into play with a few upgrades.
First up we have the Forager-Class, appearing in "A New Dawn" the Rebels prequel novel, where Hera and Kanan Jarrus meet. If you have read this book, you will understand why I chose the Forager-Class as the Large base ship for the faction. For the Model, I used a resin cast Halo, UNSC Spirit of Fire, from Dark Horse.
Next, we have the Acclimator II-Class, purchased from the Imperial Surplus yards and modified to fit the Guild's needs.
Titles are still forthcoming.
Next, two new classes of GSD, refitted for the Guild by Imperial permit.
On to the Mining Guild CR90 variants, custom designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation.
Rounding out the ships, we have the civilian version of the Gozanti-Class Flotilla.
Titles are still forthcoming.
On to the Squadrons. First the TIE Modified.
And finally the YV-666b. Modified to act as a bomber, the Guild found that it preferred the resilience of the YV-666 chassis with so many of their operations occurring inside asteroid fields.
Well, I hope you've enjoyed the first look at my version the Mining Guild Faction. Feedback, especially on the table playtest feedback, is appreciated.
