Final Mission question?

By Mind Robber, in Anima: The Card Game

Im using the first edition so the rules might be clarified in the newer release, i have a couple of questions about the final mission 'destroy the soul of infinity'.

1. If you have to fight Omega and loose are you kicked of the area? If you are not can you automaticaly try the mission again next turn or do you have to explore the area (Tower at the End) before attempting the mission again?

2. If a party is successful so they keep the mission card (to represent the soul of infinity) to take it to the Flames of Micheal at Paradise then how do other players stop them;

a) Another party attempts and succeeds the mission and they gain the card from the other party to take to the Flames of Michael.

b) Another party attempts and succeeds the mission and they also count as having the soul of infinity to take to the Flames of Michael (so both parties have a soul)

c) The party with the soul is attacked and looses so the 'soul of infinity' goes to the winner of the combat.
