Injuries instead of dying?

By Bludgeon, in Talisman Home Brews

What would you say if, instead of dying when losing last life, a character would gain an injury instead?

EDIT: This mini expansion is now complete.

RULES

Any character who loses all of his lives or is killed gains an injury instead. Remove the character from the board. Roll 1 die for each of the character’s Objects, Followers, and gold. On a result of 1, that card or token is placed on the space where the character was injured. Then the player draws one card from the Injury deck and adds it to his character.
On the start of his next turn, the character heals all life and is placed in the Chapel if of good alignment, in the Tavern if of neutral alignment, or in the Graveyard if of evil alignment and takes his turn as normal.
If any character has reached the Crown of Command during the game, a character who is killed or loses all lives is removed from the game instead of being injured.

I'm loving the card back design. Have you thought of having it on a roll chart instead, you have 5 cards there for 2 through to 6 and if a 1 is rolled that would be death as normal

No chart because how will you remember what you rolled for the next hour or three?

There will be more cards, as soon as I get more ideas. I want 12 cards in total for this deck.

The expansion is complete.
