A friend who is a long time 40k player was also very impressed with the way movement is handled when I showed him x-wing (and later armada). He appreciates it cant be really compared to a mass skirmish game like 40k but he very much welcome almost eliminating discussions and suspicions of cheating during movement.
Ill admit I think it became a little too much in Runewars, I would have loved seeing a system that didnt require all those different templates cluttering the board but the concept is sound!
Legion seem to do it "just right" and even though im fed up with starwars atm, and just began collecting 40k, I just dont know if I can resist at least a starter seeing how brilliant the ruleset seem to be.
