On a very separate note, the objectives stuff. In a tournament, isn’t the best strategy to run a list that dumpsters four or five missions, and punt the others? The generalist lists should get boxed out of a cut, and then whoever gets the mission draws in the cut wins out.

That is absolutely the correct strategy, and also hopefully impossible. Also, I need to double check the tournament rules, but the missions SHOULD be reshuffled in the cut, so just because you got your loss out of the way to a bad objective in swiss doesn't mean you're immune to seeing it in the cut.

Between this and Long Range Scanners, I can't imagine any logical reason why nearly all the shots fired during the first round 1 of combat in any game of X-Wing would not be fully modified.

I was spectating a vassal game the other night and someone decided they wanted to debate politics with me. The entire conversation was red herring, post ergo Propter hoc, and strawmen. While the idea would be cool and funny there are definitly people who i wouldn't want to deal with after they saw it

Krayts are in cahoots with FFG and making us all forget the Silencer is in a big box for no reason and the bomber is $40 for no reason by hyping Advanced Optics to such a fever pitch we don’t even bother to look at the price tag when we buy them.

On another note, I’m seriously upset with my self for not asking for the Silencer and Resistance Bomber for Christmas from my wife who doesn’t know any better to understand she’s blowing $20+ more than she should be on those.

Thank goodness she has yet to realize I asked for what she knows as “the more expensive one with two ships I got you last Christmas” just for harpoon missiles.
