Having played a bit of SNR Kylo all I can say is Long live Supreme Leader Kylo.

I completely screwed up the first engagement and got Null and QD killed and shields down on Ren, then proceeded to slowly wreck the rest of my opponents list.

@Alyx'sDog - I don't have much to add, but I'd like to reiterate the recommendation for both the Barons and 186th. They often get mentioned as an aside to bigger ones, but I do think they're (usually) more entertaining and insightful. I'd say listen to all of them and see which ones stick for you, though.

Because, thinking the ship looked like a silly and over-the-top version of a very recognizable old design to even the casual *AKA, Disney's aesthetic rule*, I was one of many to paint my Punisher in First Order colors as a wingman for Quickdraw and an Upsilon!

They did. I didn't expect him to so QD and Null jousted his 3 T-70's and died (QD got Poe down to 2 hull tho), which let me get Kylo behind his list and nuke them one by one.

I have the exact same experience with Han + Luke. I am bad, and everyone seems to think they should kill Luke first, so I often lose him early. I can almost sense my opponent relax, and then slowly grow more and more tense as they realize that there is absolutely nothing they can do about Han.

The same thing happened against that opponent when he realized he got both of my wingmen. He proceeded to get more and more frustrated as Kylo danced around killing his ships.

That being said he was able to get Kylo down to his last hull but part of that was I need more practice with him.

I heard the way to get the most our of your double reposition ace is to fly him like Wedge and die.

my buddy picked up my stuff at midnight release last night for me. I get this message at 1am:

@Alyx'sDog I try to keep the descriptions a decent indicator of whether there's anything worth listening to in there. If you see driving or no content, don't bother downloading it. There might be something xwing related in there, but it's probably more noise than anything.

Later today we should be putting out actual content (sorry, everyone else) that's useful and interesting.

With that being said, other people's suggestions are good, frankly the average xwing player is terrible at the game and it's easy to become the king of trash mountain locally. We're also trying to put out some "How to actually practice and learn things" videos soon™, but as always soon™ is whenever we get around to actually doing it.

You reach the point of making a purchase decision yet, @RStan? I mean, if an A-Wing swarm is a good meta choice, that doesn't seem like a bad meta at all.

If you need some editing-post work on the videos, I'm willing to help out.

Trying to put my own (more beginner level player) video together and left myself three major concerns.

1. I need further camera experimentation - not satisfied with my setup. Yet.
2. I have doubts people want to watch an entire game listening to two idiots say why they did stupid moves. I might try to zero in on key moments.
3. I forgot how much I hate recording audio of myself. About all the social charisma as week-old fish.

Only 4 as far as I can tell. I will borrow one for Sunday and buy a FO/individual card if I really need another one, or I will do 4+1 with Lulo or Tallie as 5th ship. Then without adv optics.

I'm not sure, I have to go through them all tonight after work. To be honest after 4 games yesterday proxying stuff these are my findings:

- Rey with Finn/Rose/title is stupid scary good. I got nightmares now. Arguably better than first edition Rey.

- Tallie is a lot better than expected, just uncanny for the points (when comparing to it's predecessor). Rear arc is legit, the pilot talent is legit. Got me out of some tight spots. In the 4 games I flew her it triggered 3-4 times per game, more often against large bases obviously, but I got Fenn twice. It also caused people to fly differently to avoid the arc.

-L'ulo is very situational and requires very different flying than what I am used to.

- Adv optics on A-wings might be a waste of points in hindsight. It never proc'd for me for starters in 4 games, which was surprising. Either it was double focus, hit focus, single focus, double hit, or the odd double blank. I don't bother spending it on a double blank.

- Ello and Nein I'm torn on which one I like better. But both are solid i5 pilots.

- Ferropaint might be a good meta call with all the alpha strike lists hanging around

- No one proxied first order.

I would love to watch that. I really liked the "Mind Games" series GSP was doing. How often have you watched a streamed game and wondered "What...why?...nooo!"
