My biggest disappointment with Kylo is that the Nationals card is 1.0 only. That was the first prize I had won that was immediately useless.

Yesterday I finally brought Kylo to the table with Midnight and Null. I played 3 matches with this list against a fat Han with a supporter.
Kylo is a beast. All those SR shenanigans combined with autothrusters and Primed thrusters are super strong and even better as it was in 1.0. I used YSYTDS only ones because I wanted to use the force for other purposes. I didn’t use Bio codes and never coordinated Kylo. Null helped Midnight most of the time or took a focus for himself. With his I7 and the coordinate action he was the primary target most of the time. Midnight without Juke isn’t as good as she was but fanatical helps her for more damage output. I really enjoyed this list BUT going against 3 or even 4 ships will be a problem cause Midnight and Null are just TIEs at the end of the day and can go down fairly quick. Nevertheless I won all 3 matches and Kylo never had more than 1 damage card.

I enjoyed QD but Kylo without Primed Thrusters is a no go imo. Being unable to use SR at anytime at the start of your turn is such a painful limitation you don’t want to have. Null and QD are a nice team cause QD comes double modded into the fight so she has a better chance to not loose all her shields in one round...
Conclusions:
1) Null and Kylo are awesome.
2) Primed Thrusters on Kylo for 102 points total are stapled.
3) For 102 points I’m really not sure what to pair with Kylo that has 1. decent firepower and 2. gives a 12 to 15 point bid

Rey title is a must not only because of Kylo. Resistance Falcon is really scavenged one: 4fwd is red, no k-turn, less blue maneuvers, turret rotate action is red. Without title is garbage, but with title Rey is pretty decent: almost always TL (Rose), almost always focus (Force), evade in front arc (Force), and ability to sloop/boost/rotate arc even while stressed.
I faced Rey twice already: dmg output is insane, comparable to 1.0 Rey
I downloaded your game vs Bunn, and while there was something funny about the file making the game very hard to follow (it kept replicating ships leaving more and more ships on the board), I'm not sure it was representative of the majority of Kylo games. Both squads were very light on jousting power, making it pretty hard for whoever lost the initiative bid to try and control Kylo's position with multiple useful arcs. It was a game of two squads that were very maneuver dependent where one squad had a huge maneuver advantage. So yeah, no surprise it was a joke of a game?
While I'm 100% on the"Supernatural Reflexes is bad game design" train, I don't think you can say your game vs Bunn said anything more than "don't bring Kylo because the mirror is stupid and heavily influenced by the bid."

Now, if Vader had native boost I can see how it might be an issue but since his chassis is so gimped I don’t think SNR is worth more than 12 on him.

Huh? For Hyperspace format, it can be used by Luke, Vader and Kylo.

This...this whole conversation is basically about kylo...you know, the dude who can Supernatural when stressed, and can do either/both/neither repositions before OR after the move, and IS hyperspace legal.

Who has 2 force, lacks Vader's action efficiency outside of boost<->BR and is, again, i5. I just think this is being overhyped like Vader was, and Vader has hardly been meta shattering. Annoying, sure, but hardly broken imho.

Odd. I thought Kylo had no force but had free supernatural every turn. Weeeeeird. And boost into BR should not be underestimated. He can still get two repositions and a focus or lock.

I actually think this is his big weakness. Poe is good, and he's swiggity swooty. At that point, it's kind of a question of whose supporting cast can make the Ace's gameplan work more consistently, and who's better against the field. Right now, I think it's advantage Poe on the first, and Kylo on the second, but we'll start seeing soon enough.

I don't think we'll get anywhere on the Kylo discussion until he's more in the wild and more people are playing him/against him. If I'd been playing with/against him, seeing a freight train coming down the tunnel, and a bunch of people who haven't been playing him were telling me I'm probably wrong, I'd probably roll my eyes and tell everyone "Ok", too.
We can start the "NO U" stuff in earnest in a couple days. I think. Why haven't I seen people posting about their local store confirming the release date? I've already mentally shelved everything aside from Resistance and super don't care about Extended. It feels almost like the impending release of 2.0 all over again.

But is it worth the 120+ points people here seem to think it should cost? I'd argue no.
Either Vader and/or Kylo are expensive, or SNR is expensive, but I don't think both should be expensive.
That's the point I'm trying to make; everyone seems way more scared of SNR Kylo than I think they needs to be. He's just a better Vader and even then he's fine.

I'm more tired of the super/kylo discussion than anything else in xwing. Do I think the sky is falling? Yes. Should anyone care what I think? No. Either it's going to be a problem or not, we're all going to find out together and it's not going to matter who was right.

Flip opponent tokens whenever you feel like it. Maybe don't even flick them all off. Maybe just one or two, then sit with your arms crossed and a knowing smirk on your face until your opponent gets tired of the game and quits.
