Is there any Elite, modification or System that reliably stress yourself?
Carolina Krayts is the best X-Wing podcast

Good question... Maul crew will do it when you take damage, but I'm not really sure what you're trying to do to be able to think through it well.

Maybe trying to find a way to stress B-Wings beyond the barrel roll?
Debri Gambit is one way.
Edited by Boom OwlMan, there are some really solid Soontir builds that feel like they are really cheap. I know he's not what he once was, but he can be built at just over Omega Leader costs, and that seems awesome.
Like he's so cheap that he doesn't have to carry the squad, so he can be an arc dodging element in a jousting or hybrid list. You could have him and 3 Sabers or 4 Alphas and still have points for gear.
More edit: you can totally do the same with Wedge and Red Vets. 3 Predator Vets with a pretty well equipped I6 Wedge. He won't be the monster lit's of stuff is, but he'll keep some aces honest and help the squad hit like a truck.

Trying to find a rebel list built around Corran, Jake, and Ten Numb or Wedge at the moment.
Lots of fun options to explore.
This 200 pt scale is really neat.

Yep exactly for that.
Debris Gambit seems the only one, but sadly it doesn't say "you may treat as white" so it's not alway reliable.
I'll probably play something like that:
-Ten Numb with Debris Gambit 52
-Braylen with Debris Gambit 52
-xwing Garven Dreis 47
-Biggs 48
I'm not sure how efficient the 2 Bs would be thought, but I like Garven
Edited by SunitsaGrand Quiz Advanced Sensors Juke Tie Phantoms are fun. That is all.
Edited by Boom OwlWhat are the chances that we can get this thread moved to the inevitable "2nd edition" forum?

This thread is the 2nd edition forum. Has been for over a year now.

Does a TIE Bomber with Saturation Salvo for 34 points seem like it might be a solid investment? It basically gets 5 3 dice attacks that just require you to have a Focus, with the added bonus of no extra greens at R3, and the ability to get re-rolls if you bullseye someone. It's the same price as the cheapest Striker and Interceptor, but it's slower and tougher.
I'm finding it interesting that ~17 1.0 points is where they're starting a lot of Imperial combat ships that were in the low 20s in 1.0, usually with some added ability in 2.0. Now, these ships were almost always suboptimal in 1.0, but with the power curve coming down and these ships slightly gaining, they want you to take a hard look at these generics.
Edit: add in linked actions on ship s like Barons of the Empire, Inquisitors, and Saber Squadron Pilots, and you get some real micro-aces with a lot of capability in a modest package.

Barrage Rocket Scimitars with Captain Jonus nearby.
I can't decide what missile or torp to put on Major Ryhmer though.

I've got my eye on Inquisitors. I don't think they're quite worth it right now, the force point is nice but it's also appropriately costed. More importantly none of the existing force powers really wow me at that initiative. But... it's just a decent dark side power away from potentially being real nice.

Huh?
Gamma Squadron 30
Saturation Salvo 6 and doesn't do anything without munitions?
I guess I came in at the wrong time to have any idea what's happening...

I think he meant barrage rockets, not sat salvo.
As we all know the TIE Aggressors are the best the 2.0 list to beat will be:
4x Sienar Specialists with Ion turrets and, wait for it.... The Ace of Legends!!!!!!
FFG knows this, which is proved by there only being 3 TIE Aggressors in the conversion kits.

Yeah, sorry. Got some wires crossed.
Imperials sound like so much fun in 2.0... I haven't found anything in Rebels, and I love Rebels, that make the type of squads I like unless I just take a swarm and to heck with the abilities....
The Imperial pilots though... Dang it. I may need to pick up the Imperial conversion, if the stock holds out, this weekend. Yes. THIS. WEEKEND. C'mon GenCon!
Rebel list will probably end up being...Luke + however many homing missile A's I can fit in there.

Its probably because I am bad but I see a couple rebel options that look sorta fun.
Both named B-Wings can get good amount of dice modification when attacking, X-Wings in general are great value, Jake Farrell is "bad" but ordinance filler that can pass out focus tokens maybe, Luke and Wedge are obviously good, Y-Wings might be workable as ordinance or bomb platforms instead of just Ion Turrets, and yes E-Wings look over costed but I want to find out how dangerous Corran can be on the table with Sensors R4 before condemning that entire ugly ship.
All this before considering Hwks are not terrible now.
The mechanics arent as "fancy" but Fancy was never the reason I prefered Empire in 1.0, it was really its simplicity that made it more enjoyable. I wonder if when everything settles there will be a couple solid semi aggressive slightly higher hp rebel lists that play very directly. Lots of talk has been about rebel teamwok synergy, but stepping back from that maybe theres some 4-5 ship type stuff that shakes out which isnt just hey look at these cards I brought and how they combine to form one big super ship that plays itself.

I think at 52 points he's a nice addition to a jousting squad that also puts squirrelly I5 ships (Phantoms, Dash, etc.) in awkward situations, and can make other 9s really nervous with a bid.

Whether or not there's a currently know viable build or squad to places Wedge in well, there's still enough there based on I6 value, taking away a green dice on defending ships, and all at 26 pts (52) base. I'm not saying it's maybe "obviously good," but he's probably one of the first pilots I look at when building a Rebel squad (although I've only tried to build Imperial squads so far). He might not end up being the "centerpiece" of a squad, but can be a very good compliment.

Lone Wolf + Wedge = 56 pts.
Its thats not at least ok I don't know what to believe anymore.
