Nah for serious Kamek isn't bad just play it like a normal game and go for points, and don't start charging until you see if it hits the middle pole.

I got past it last night, just did slices in the middle forever.

Being held to a higher standard of on topic certainly hurts. That said, i know you were tracking our rate of growth for a bit. Did we pass the gunboat thread sooner or later than expected?

I'm really stoked for the scum kit, we've seen a few more spoilers dripped out of the imperial faction that i feel like I've seen everything i want to know besides points. I want to see who hangs out with fenn and teroch

A couple weeks sooner than expected. Last month's 90 pages was a significant increase over previous growth rates. Just look at this year's Q1, it averaged 42 pages per month and each month was only a single digit increase over the previous. Then April was 61 and May was 90, so a significant increase. My expectations had Gunboat being passed by 4th of July, and a spike from Gencon punching past the Rebels and into first place. I'm expecting it to pass Rebels within a couple weeks.
My god things are slow around here...
Did the BOLS Rebel kit unboxing give any details as to the cardboard insert issues? It seems clear that we won’t be able to fly every combination of generics/named pilots available, but I wasn’t sure if it had been concluded just what was getting the short stick.

2) I think just hyping leagues, doing demos.
- during 1.0, do more alt formats (pirate tournaments are nice and more "core" x-wing focused).
- version 1.5
- Our local league is doing 2.0 with the following rules:
- if both players agree to each others lists - play whatever
- if you can't agree, both players are limited to demo lists seen on stream/TC video or threat cards
I have never done a league, and I signed up for the 2.0 league...

In the same boat. I have always been a little hesitant to start up leagues since I worry that they might restrict what the player base is available to do once a week, and since people are in and out week to week it just seems inefficient.
i.e. if not everyone is interested in that kinda structure it makes an individual game night less flexible to meet everyones expectations if that makes sense?
I fully understand the appeal of them though and its something I think I would enjoy especially for 2.0, but I sometimes worry about Leagues limiting the peoples choices.
Probably over complicating this...

I convinced @Timathius to forgo the weekly requirement and allow anyone to play their league matches in any week (I stole this from vassal league). Otherwise, I'd have to have abstained again myself - I simply can't do weekly consistently.
Basically the environment I am looking to create is pretty much this...
But also simultaneously this?

I tried that demo. I loved the graphical style but wasn't a fan of the game play. After clicking through about 10 minutes of dialog, you finally get to play. 4th encounter was a boss fight and I got annihilated.
I'll stick with X-wing!
