NOOOOOO

That’s truly sad - as we’re far more on topic than most threads tend to be ?

Admins probably got tired of deleting off topic stuff from the thread...

Did this just become the On-Topic forum?

I feel like we all need to go report the REBELS thread for being off topic now so the conquest for biggest thread can continue!

Back to dials?

I’m not sure if that’s right, but I’m confident it isn’t wrong.

I AGREEEEEEEEEEEE

So question on Sloane-

With a 2.0 Sloane shuttle, do Strikers or standard TIES make more sense? The value of a reroll on a 3rd die is more valuble than a reroll on a second die, but with more TIEs you get to double stress more people.

What combinations of TIEs and Strikers would work best?

Maybe Duchess and as many generics as possible?

That would likely be my answer.

Thinking about it, how does the bonus of rerolls vs people who K-turn factor in? I guess that's better for Strikers since they are more maneuverable?

I think it also depends on if rebel captive is still a thing. Or death troopers, I guess. Get a way to force a stress early.

I mean, TIE fighters can K-turn for the same effect.

If able, I think that Lambda + 2 Strikers + 4 Ties is the way to go, so you can swap arc direction easily.

To build on this, if LWF still exists, the answer is "All Strikers", right?

Strikers can pretty much do whatever they want, provided you read your opponent right you'll have guns on target more often, with bigger guns.

TIEs, it's safety in numbers. I feel like the swarm of gnats may be stronger vs smaller lists...

Combining the two gives you the flexibility to deal with the randomness that lists likely will be initially as people try to find their feet again in the new game....

This has been a flawed strategic level analysis by Lag Janson...

I'm pretty sure the answer is strikers > interceptors > ties. 3 attack dice with a reroll is much better than 2 attack dice with a reroll, and now you don't have the limitation of being stuck next to a tie fighter so you can actually use those better dials/autothrusters

I agree.
