June 21st, according to some random guy on the internet that posted on FFG forum. Seems legit!

I heard the 21st about a week ago, some European distributor gave that as a date. The podcasts have started rumbling the 21st or 29th (wtf?) in between not remembering 1.0 dials and saying things are going to be the same when they aren’t.

It's a plausible date though, considering when the product went on the boat and the articles. It looks soon. I'm running an arc-only tournament on the 30th so I'm rather expecting a lot of X-Wings to show up and/or TIE Reapers... Not so much expecting U-Wings but.. meh....

the 21st is the official release date in Italy (and I suppose in Europe too), it wasn't a date given by a random guy but by Asmodee itself.

I suppose it will be the same day in USA too, but it's weird it wasn't actually confirmed by FFG

How dare the random guy at Asmodee provide an official release for Europe when the random guy from FFG has not done so for N.America!

Now, come release day I may not even have access since Asmodee Canada really does seem to work randomly.

You will get Wave 14 by the fall at the latest, and 2.0 by Christmas (maybe). And you will enjoy it and think to yourself "at least, I get to live in Canada!"

Actually, the current rumor in the local community was that we'd get the core before wave 14. Wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth.

The release date of June 21st is listed on the Wave 14 entries on the "Upcoming" page, so it's "official", there just wasn't any fanfare.

Stealing conversation ideas from the Gunboat thread and moving them here: considering how difficult it is to get off good ordnance shots multiple times in 1.0, is Saturation Salvo 2.0 unironically the right upgrade for your ordnance carriers? Many missile upgrades have 3 or even 4 charges, which is quite an optimistic number of shots for most missile platforms, throwing one or even two of these charges away to reroll your opponents green dice seems like the right play to maximize value from your ordnance. Even 2 charge ordnance like Proton Torpedoes look a good place to burn the charge for the early damage.
