So something I just realized about 2.0 Han, his ability let’s him reroll the damage from overlapping an obstacle.

Yep and Lando :)

Do we know if you can shoot missiles/torps at Rocks in general?

Call a doctor if that’s the case. Or whoever, if you’re not into doctors.

Luckily existential dread took back over about 40 minutes after i posted that, so nothingto worry about

Luke (Afterburners, R2 Astromech, S-Foils and Supernatural Reflexes), which won.

One thing I've been wondering: if a card has an action on it, does it add that action to the action bar of the ship, or is it just a card action?

Specifically, if Luke Supernaturally boosts with his S-Foils closed, does he take a damage or not?

Not sure if this came up while you were watching.

If I recall, closed s-foils actuall adds boost and focus-->boost to your bar.

Afterburners simply lets you take a boost (doesn't give the action).

I'll have to go dig up the spoiler pics though.

Yeah, my question is about S-Foils, not Afterburners. I want to know if the little action tab means “this is on your action bar” or “you can take this action.”

Back from the expo and found out some more things today.

You can link off supernatural reflexes, but it's a very expensive card. I don't know how much.
You can't link off focus when ioned (unless you had some way to focus twice) - you can perform no actions other than focus actions.
Expert Handling and Engine Upgrade can't make linked actions white.
Fully execute means not being blocked from placing your ship at the end of the template by another ship. Going over a rock is still fully executing.
Lock action is measure range to any number of ships, choose one at range 0-3.
Medium base is not 1.5 small bases - it's more like 1.6. We measured with various templates and other bases.
There are 3 debris and 3 asteroids in the core set, but other rocks will probably still be legal.
Debris works the same way as before, if you can shed the stress you still get an action.
When asked about the app Alex said that it hopefully will be out at Gencon.
Some more rough points - Corran 74, Adv. sensors 8, C-3PO 12, Lone Wolf 5, Leia 6, Leebo 92, AP-5 30, Lothal Rebel 70
TIE Phantom still has crew
Outrider does work with Dash (obviously)

Alex played a bunch more challenge games today too, mostly against fat turrets (all of which he beat). He said he had a loss, which I didn't see. His list was Luke (R2-D2, Proton Torps, Instinctive Aim, S-Foils), Wedge (R4 Astromech, Outmaneuver, S-Foils) and Norra Y-Wing (Expert Handling, Ion Cannon Turret, Proton Torps, and Seismic Charges). I saw him win games against:
Leebo (C-3PO, Outrider, Lone Wolf, Luke gunner) and Braylem B-Wing (Advanced Sensors)
Chopper (Ghost, Ion Cannon Turret, Freelance Slicer, Kanan, Veteran Turret Gunner), Ezra (Sheathipede with Baze Malbus and R5 Astromech) and Zeb (attack shuttle with Phantom, docked)
Han Solo (title, Engine Upgrade, Kanan, Veteran Turret Gunner), Z-95 (no upgrades), Cassian Andor (Jyn, Pivot Wing and Perceptive copilot)

Points totals in the lists were approximate, the Leebo one is probably closest to an actual list.

Ben Lee won the European flying palpaces!

He beated Wouter Houweand (it's very likely I mispelled it) who was playing raclo qd.

Top four was jack mooney with ghost fenn and ashok hemmings with nymranda.

Top 8 had another palpaces, one imperial ace (i think it had ryad, qd and ol), one dash poe (not rasta) and a 4 ship rebel

Where you measuring the cardboard or the plastic? I measured the plastic to be 1.5 exactly. The medium cardboard is 1.5 long, but not 1.5 wide.

(it's more like 1.4, but if you used small base cardboard to measure it (which are 0.9 wide), it looks wider than 1.5)

There was only a rebel conversion kit at the expo, and we were only allowed to use it because it was posted online on Thursday, which wasn't intended.

I could be wrong, here's my comparison photos.

I didn't get a chance to compare plastic to plastic.

I know, I'm just pulling your leg. It was supposed to be a joke on how this thread has has a large amount of mostly/mono-Imp players.

At the UK Games Expo and played Alex Davy today. He was doing points from memory (and so am I now) so these might not be exact but

  • Luke gunner is 30 points
  • Dash is 98 base, has both gunner and crew
  • Outrider is 12
  • Base defender is 72 (I think), you definitely can't get 3
  • You should be able to get 3 E-Wings
  • Ezra gunner is 14
  • Miranda is 45, has both gunner and crew
  • Basic wookiee is 46
  • Han is 92

Other things that may not be known (were new to me):

Bombs and mines are now defined types of thing

Fully executing a maneuver is what we thought, rules define partially executing a maneuver as well

No limit to how many tokens you can spend on attack/defense - if you have 3 evades and 3 greens go nuts.

Medium/Large ships decloak using a normal medium/large barrel roll, small ships are a barrel roll with the 2 template.

Miranda, only 45 ... I think it's a typo and more probably 65

oh come on, it was one of the most diverse top8 since the meta went stale, half of it were non turretted ship lists and no bloody 100 points mirandas went past top 16...

I know this probably just a joke, but at this point I'm not getting why so much blind hate

Not a typo, this was the points cost used in the Lando squad. Braylem and Miranda were both about 50ish, and Lando was about 100ish.

we have been talking a lot about UP UP UP. but where a ship has received drastic nerfs there is nothing to say it cant go DOWN DOWN DOWN.

jumpmaster for example i would love to see the new price assuming they have left the FAQ in place alongside giving it a worse dial.

You’re right, but it’s hard to get very excited for any 1.0 anything.

i mean, for all the rebel defensive hate discussed here, palp aces is just imperial dengaroo, but it appears like more of a game.

also, genuinely - where the **** did #tinyeuropeanmeta even come from? Who was dumb enough to say that? Europe is literally half of list juggler.

(also, I know you’re not saying we said it - I actually am asking - how did this come about?)

Solo'd four crack ties with Instinct Luke. it was super close but super luke might have made that less of a game.

Speaking of. juke howl is on my to-do list, but is juke worth it in a world of force-aces?
