The amount of salt around Sabine's TIE sticking around is just insane to me.
Carolina Krayts is the best X-Wing podcast
Where was this confirmed?

Captured TIEs, meh. These popped up all over the place in old EU, way back to the 80s even. As squadrons, even... So much salt though... Are Imperials the faction of salt?

FAQ conversion kit list + Ezra's pilot card in one of the articles

Which ever faction includes Kylo Ren auto includes the "Faction of Salt" title. Which allows you to complain about "muh dice" once per turn after you make a mistake without knowing it.
Side note, what are the chances that we get the entire Knights of Ren crew included in the First Order?
Or does FFG need to wait for the inevitable Knights of Ren: A Star Wars Story movie?
That Dynasty Warriors character with the giant sword needs to be playable.

The other working title is "Kylo: A Star Wars Story"

Krayts on top.
Posting in the gunboat thread is now a crime punishable by death.

FFG HATES IMPERIALS THATS WHY THEY KEEP GIVING THEM SHIPS AND CARDS THAT ARE SO DOMINANT THEY REQUIRE NERFS.

If we get Wedge and Hobbie in captured TIEs, will people stop complaining? That happened in both the new and old EUs.

****. That means this thread and the Painting and Modification subforums are the only places left for me to post.

That's awesome, dude.
Too bad the source file blew up. I think a 2.0 version of that card would be nice to have.
Please make more!

Thanks... It was really just testing surfaces and lighting. Threw some automotive paints on a swoop, what you can't see on the floor in front of her is the blaster on one side, a pile of coins on the other, and a filled shot glass in the middle. I took her boots off though as they didn't bend right for the pose (it looked... weird) and the barefoot look was a bit odd when I considered just throwing the image at the card instead of spending effort...
I'll see what I can do... the tricky bit is drawing a relationship between the art and the pilot. Sunny works because she's a swoop racer who rigs races... thus the bike. If I just throw something random together and call it a Contracted Scout... does it work? Does anybody care that it doesn't work?

JM5K is actually an Imperial ship, used to map out hyperspace lanes. A contracted scout, I would assume, is one of those Imperial scouts who decided to use their scouting ship for personal gain. So who knows what one would look like - probably a weird amalgam of pirate, Imperial, desk worker, surveyor, and truck driver. So go for it!

Scouts could look like anything, dressed in a range of clothes. THAT would be the easy part. I don't exactly have a 3D model jumpmaster in my objects library however and I've always found overlaying to be tedious finding the right image that doesn't look ridiculous in the background... So there wouldn't be that connection. Just putting a blaster in a random character's hand though, that I can do easily.
Remember how incredibly stupid the name “Jumpmaster 5000” used to sound when you first heard it? It’s an 80s take home gym, or maybe a cyborg villain of Lou Ferrigno’s The Incredible Hulk that never made it into a full fledged episode.
Now? It’s an iconic xwing ship and we are all fine with it.

Not... quite... iconic. I'll go popular, though.

Iconic XWING ship. Not Star Wars ship. Iconic in the sense that it was the bane of our existence for such a long stretch of the games history. Think outside of the jumpmaster, Miranda is the only to have a longer sustained reign of terror.

Fair.

Miranda's reign of terror? Miranda is our welcomed leader. Players think she's fair. Also, not like she's won worlds, right? Must be fine. All evidence suggests she's not overpowered.

When Miranda attacks inside her arc, it's her most powerful attack. So she also cares about arcs and is wholesome! And she's only PS8, not PS11, so there's counterplay options! She only has one agility too - so she must be easy to kill!

Hey, I tabled a miranda list last night. My 1 anecdotal sample totally means she's fine.

I'm sure it was the most optimally built thing ever, too. Like how at casual night I tabled Nym with Eaden Vrill... because Nym's squadmate was Emon Azzameen.
Edited by KieransiNot gonna lie, I beat a guy at a large tournament who was flying Dengar Nym a few weeks after Nyms release. I beat him with like, a bwing, z95, ywing, xwing and Roark.
I was totally convinced Nym was fine at that time because a) I beat him with jank, and b) I beat him with jank.
Nevermind that PS 12 r3a2 wrecks Expertise Dengar into oblivion (and at least disrupts AS Nym), my opponent flew like an absolute amateur, and I was on the best dice... I mean win streak of my life.
Edited by Kdubb@Biophysical are friday or sunday night good for you? We might rope you into playing against @Starslinger72 Tyler "The Trench Run is Unbeatable, Empire DOA" Tippett and either just run with what we've got, or have you yolo assemble what you think might be 200 point squads and see what happens?
Just depends on what gets revealed Friday I guess.

I repeatedly beat Nym for a month with jank... You can go back through the forums where I spout my utter lack of fear of him. Then he got paired with Miranda and my world changed... Actually, my opinion changed when Nym got trajectory sim and Miranda as a partner... It was laughable how drastic the change in how that game played out for me.
I'm betting similar... Amateurish play with Nym, non-optimal builds and lists, and maybe, maybe, strong play on my part to identify and eliminate Nym before he could do his stuff. Also possibly dice, but if I can't blame dice for failing I'm not crediting dice for success.
I must be listening to the Krayts with my kid in the car too much (yea yea yea, bad choices) because recently he has started using the phrase "you're not wrong"
