Oh, nice... Mine only got the the Rey and First Order ones, which... in desperation for sleeves I picked up Rey but I'm pretty indifferent to them. My other protectors have an anime archer girl. I'd pick up the above if it were in stock locally.

Two 2.0 things that I am interested to see in practice:

1. PS6 with a bid is a thing. Moving last remains possible without VI or Adap. But you probably cant also token stack and hang out in arc and its more difficult to double action in any combination. Still if I proritize moving last for whatever reason its an option and is likely to be a very good crutch and hard to cost perfectly?

2. 180 Arcs still exist on at least Y-Wings, though the range bonuses are applied to whichever side you rotate to. Hard turns arent red. Also probably the easiest way for players with 360 or Wookie Crutches to transition into 2.0 out the gate?

Not intended to be a complaint based on imperfect info or costs yet. Im sure its all fine. Just genuinely interested in seeing how these two pieces of the puzzle fit together when we get the App!

Listening to the current episode and using my own understanding of the game, I'm intensely curious about how many points the different TIE Fighters will be. It really impacts squad options for the current demo squads. If they are relatively close to the current points (before doubling), the 4 Crack Shot BSPs are ~60 points. At current prices, you could get 5 Academies, which seem all around better due to the limitations of Crack Shot. Alternatively, two Academies, Howlrunner, and Versio (if 16 points) would be 58, with two open EPT slots or some minor point inflation of the named pilots.

Compared to the 4 BSPs, those other options seem a lot better, but points yada, yada, yada. Even Howl, Versio, and say, Mauler with EPTs and some Missiles on Vader seem like a notable improvement over the BSPs.

In other concerns, if you need someone that a) knows Vassal, and b) knows arced ships, I know a guy.

I guess fancy sleeves are going to be nice and all now everything is going to be the same size. But, man, I'm going to miss the crap out of these boring-but-effective things:

Just cutting to save space - yeah, crack shot seems really hard to get consistent use from. Maybe it's better in like a swarm mirror?

These are what we're doing until we get like a full set of spoilers and prices, you're more than welcome if you're interested!

You can still essentially make those for 2.0. I've been doing something similar for a while. Take a typical 9-slot binder page and cut it along the seam, which creates three 3-slot...list ship holders? Anyway, this should give you an idea. You could cut them to taste....2 x 2, 3 x 3, etc.

Let me know times and I'll show up if I can.

I think I get what you mean. It's the overlapping, horizontal layout in 2.0 that seems tricky. By using the full cards on a page you're taking up a lot of extra space as they're meant to be half under each other.

I'm sure some smart arsehole will work something out in time, of course. Even if it's just a bunch of sleeves taped together.

I'm bad at forums, meant to include this pic last time.

Er... for the uninformed and unwilling to click on odd links from the office... what happened to that store?

Ah, yeah, that's what I was thinking of so you did alright. :)

But the thing with 2.0 is that each one of those upgrade cards is the same size as the pilot card. By keeping everything flat that build in particular will now need an extra 2/5ths of that space. Plus a lot of the new upgrade cards needs to have tokens stacked on them, space management is going to take a bit of getting used to.

How have we not passed the gunboat thread yet? Pick up the pace people!

I think we've proven it's hard to catch something that can regenerate (the thread) and has SLAM (the boat)...

I guess the hope is 2.0 doesn't get to the points 1.0 did with half a dozen upgrade cards on each ship. ;)

With those three in the pic, they can fold in on themselves to be more compact for transport, like in a deck box. Also, you can put multiple cards in the same slot for ease of transport and just pull the "extra's" out when setting up. I already do that with the current small upgrades (there's a VI on Poe, Smuggling Compartment/BO SLAM on Rey and Ion Projector on the Lothal in that pic, behind the other cards). Also of note, the pilot cards are sleeved and easily fit on those slots while sleeved.

So custom sleeves... that could allow you to print partial cards on the front so some of the front is transparent and the card shows through, but some is covered by other art/text/stats. That could be fun!
