I think the turret still makes it materially different enough from a gunboat to play differently, even if the actions end up being similar (other than arc rotate). Also medium base of course will change things a bit.

And of course we don't even know what they are going to do with gunboats and related titles yet. Maybe those will end up not just being cheap munitions carriers in 2.0 as well.

As I said, there are no paper slips, but here's a permanent proof of the deed through the Junkies' Winnipeg Regional's Final stream where Mark explains his shame to Paul La Rue's son (13) about losing to a nearly-8 year old.

3 of us warned him repeatedly not to take the match lightly, the boy is good with his defenders, but it took a few turns for the realization to set in. It was his 18th tournament game with triple x7, not 100th, and his 47th tournament game overall. And, cause I like stats, he's now at 29-34 in tournaments if you ignore the 2 times he faced me. Surely that is Krayt-worthy!

Note that Mark is a super nice guy and even offered a wood Vessery card to my son (and wooden evade tokens my son still uses), but Vessery is the wrong way to spell "Glaive" He is far from the first to get butchered by my son, but likely will be one of the last public ones.

I haven't paid full attention to the 2e information, have they said how long the conversion kits will be on the market (if they're a limited time release)? While my son and I are out of 2e from the get go, it's not impossible we'd come back later down the line (if certain members of our community drop out, I'm done with toxic). If the kits are a limited release though, ugh.

On another topic, I tried @Brunas's Kylo/Soontir list on my son, he was not amused at the concept behind it. Luckily, I suck at running away, so it just ended in a natural 100-0.

I don't think they've said, but expect them to hang out for a good little while anyway. Check Descent 2.0 conversion kits if you're curious, this isn't FFGs first run at conversion kits.

I'm willing to bet the odds are low of ever getting another K-Wing or GUNBOAT pack. Too many other priorities. Plenty of other EU stuff just as famous. And the new movies just keep adding things.

I don't think I can articulate my BB-8 psychosis with mere words. I'll work on an appropriate photo montage.

This is a great idea. Participation promos for 1.0 tournaments for playing not TLT/fenn/bombs

A secret... it's not too good. It's got guns, but nothing else. It's low PS, doesn't have a turret, no added defensive abilities and low health.

I suppose now that I own four TIE Phantoms I could fly those without reliance on the one that doesn't show... but I don't think that counts as being wholesome.

I would always say Triple Jumps but if people are playing a bunch of low ps x-wings im not sure they are still viable
