Wow, almost like the first half of the sentence that ends with there not being precedent!

You are tap dancing along the rickety gangplank of justification that scum Nym’s ability says “friendly bombs” which isn’t mentioned anywhere else or clarified.

(sans kayfabe: no beef, but it’s the Krayt thread, right?)

It's not the same situation, so it's not a precedent.

It depends on how the "dropping a bomb on two targets simultaneously" rule is justified.

If it's justified because there's no knowing which target detonated the bomb, therefore the owner of the bomb chooses, then the Conner Net would be detonated by, and affect the ship, that moved onto it (Vader).

If it's justified because it simply detonates, and the owner is permitted to choose any valid target on detonation, then the owner can choose the target no matter what ship detonates the bomb.

I think it's more likely to be ruled the second way than the first, but it's definitely iffy.

There’s an outside third case, which is the player that caused the effect to happen gets to choose. Dropping the bomb as an action was proactive, and flying onto a bomb is the triggering action.

Rebel Nym is the first time that the second way of triggering has two valid targets of the effect.

(I’m not saying I think his is how it works, I’m saying it could be argued)

I had to re-listen to the latest episode twice because my sides were splitting with how savage everyone was.

Go to the hospital. Split sides are no laughing matter.

Well, splitting a side of fries is pretty good when you didn't pay for it...

I wonder Duncan can write me a doctors note... this sounds serious.

Conner net doesn’t care if there’s extra ships overlapping when t detonates. When it detonated, the ship that moved through or overlapped it (causing the detonation) takes the effect.

There you go. Vader would suffer the detonation, not Nym.

(Note this this tracks with my first listed justification for getting to choose: If it's justified because there's no knowing which target detonated the bomb, therefore the owner of the bomb chooses, then the Conner Net would be detonated by, and affect the ship, that moved onto it (Vader).)

Speaking of Francois, one of my most vivid memories from Worlds was Zack going up to some french guy (I think it was francois?) and giving him a noogie

Man i straight up don't remember that. Francious was at last worlds, right before swiss he came up to me and talked to me about he couldn't decide if he wanted to do x wing swiss or destiny top cut, i told him to do destiny top cut so he could become a legend

I just remember him looking very confused after you messed with his hair and then you two carried on with your conversation like nothing happened. It was very surreal, but also funny.

Latest episode was fun. You know...the whole time y'all are discussing how some combos and rules are supposed to act I kept thinking.." this isn't that hard...just do whatever the playtesters tested it as."

How does rebel Nim work? How did the playtesters do it.

I mean, unless playtesting is shyte, it should be pretty easy to figure out a lot of these rules interactions.

Under that logic we should all be playing Bomblet Jenga. Actual footage of Bomblet Generator Testing.

I still agree

Conspiracy theory: We haven't had an x wing article in forever because ffg is either hoping the krayts get bored and wander off, or they're killing x wing to be rid of us

The player base is the body, Krayts are the cancer. Chemo hurts both, but sometimes kills cancer faster.

Jokes on them, we're the cockroaches in this walking corpse

We can all thank Gold Squadron for that.

Now that I think about it, you did say something about hating people from Paris.

If we end up with two ships sitting on a Connor Net, who takes the Ion? The first ship was rebel Nym (same player that laid it so his ability works).

Is it decided by the bombs “owner”? Is it the second ship’s owner because he set off the chain of events? Am I thinking about this all wrong?

Also, tell me my list ideas are terrible, I don’t want to buy another outrider.

I also enjoy parking lots lots of stress and Ion, I like blocking with big base barrel rolls and Intel agent, and Nathan won this years Indiana regional with an Ion Turret?

So I want to play two Ion cannon untitled wild space fringers with bumpmaster-ish loadouts and a Stresshog. Decent health, big firing arcs with ion cannons, a bit of turrets, big bases barrel rolls.

I dont like my odds against triple jumps, and my salvo is terrible against FSR. I think I like it against Nym, Miranda, and maybe Dash?
