Yeah I'll be there Tues night. Let me know if you want some practice.

In, it's a date

I'm playing on Friday, so totally match dodging Brunas. Already going better than the Stele Open.

So does this mean we can use Poe/Jake/Wedge now? I guess the closest thing is Poe/Kulbee/Jake.

I'll be at Worlds, playing on Wednesday, wearing a Blizzard Squadron shirt, and making it rain (err snow...) with snowflake target locks. Definitely down for a meetup, it would be great to put faces to usernames!

snowflake target locks..... your holding out on me. or is @Andr_oss.... you guys and this glorious swag.

You guys are all making me very, very sad that worlds this year happened right during finals week for me...

If it makes you feel better, the party bus was cancelled and instead we're floating a boat in a pool of tears of those who couldn't go?

College students & employees banned from Worlds for the second year in a row!

That's ok. Monday is my 21st birthday, so I wouldn't have remembered worlds anyway.

Also, in other news, @Brunas, I just claimed a character as my waifu as part of a forum debate. Whatever is wrong with you seems to be contagious.

I'm going to just apologize to everyone at once for my behavior. I tend to not make any sense and eventually bug everyone on Thursdays, because I have to get up at 7 for my classes.

I think I'm just gonna go take a nap now...

Am I doing it right?

First don’t apologize. A Krayt’s heart is empty of everything but disrespect.

Secondly I’m glad to see that you’re posting the same thing in both the thread and the discord since the bot won’t work.

@LagJanson, I think I'd do this:

•Lowhhrick (28) - Auzituck Gunship
Draw Their Fire (1), •Magva Yarro (2), •Han Solo (2), Guidance Chips (0)

•Biggs Darklighter (25) - X-Wing (T-65)
•R2-D6 (1), Renegade Refit (-2), Integrated Astromech (0), Selflessness (0), Servomotor S-foils (0)

•Fenn Rau (20) - Sheathipede-class Shuttle
Veteran Instincts (1), Hotshot Co-pilot (4), Flight-Assist Astromech (1), Guidance Chips (0)

•Captain Rex (14) - TIE Fighter
Sabine's Masterpiece (1), Guidance Chips (0), Courier Droid (0), Glitterstim (2)

@Kieransi apparently has a thing for Ahsoka

It was Ahsoka.

A guy (said a thing).

I said don't talk about my waifu that way.

In retrospect, there were probably better and easier ways to defend my favorite character. But I regret nothing.

The other posts got deleted. I guess what he called her gets censored by these forums.

I was thinking about that 5x v Ghost game a bit more, and wanted to elaborate a bit on my comment about spreading out.

With the 4T70 version, I like a skirmish line with about a range band between ships. You have so many maneuver options that it's easy to converge on things or split up and flank. I'd try the same with 5T65s.

You don't as obviously get the 100% guns on target situation (but you certainly can), but in general you don't have crap turns. There's always someone blocking or chasing. Pretty much the worst thing with everyone bunched up is that they moved become obvious. If you disperse a bit, you have a lot more options, even if you occasionally miss a shot. You can block from a lot of angles, you can attack from multiple angles, and if you have to turn around with some ships, you have others that still can take shots.

The general effect of this is that you're consistently getting blocks with a couple quality shots into a main target. They other ships are setting up for next turn or prevented a repositioning move. You can pretty easily shift roles on the fly. The ship that got shot this turn becomes the blocker next turn while your blocker turns around or prepares for a shot next turn.

Fenn definitely makes this harder with his ability to shut attacks down, but I think you just have to kill him first, like any other list.

Losing a lot of firepower there unless people actually shoot at Low first. Also... rapid TLT fire doesn't care about your tricks, and Rex dies fast that way... (learned that one the hard way and was gun shy the rest of my short run... @Brunas called me out on stream regarding my pointless evade tokens on Rex after that...)

Love that you typed in the Guidance Chips though. I assumed they were mandatory and only include them when the cards are put on the table.

I agree. It's the reason why I'd like a try against a Ghost/Fenn list just to see how it goes. I think it still goes badly, but there's potential to trap things, and there should always be an arc or two on target to keep the pressure on.

On this topic, I like using spare points to upgrade one X-wing to some sort of Fenn build. You can survive longer because of Fenn's ability and use coordinate to barrel roll into shots, Target Lock, or roll off of a block. Seems pretty **** solid while keeping 4 combat ships. Some points for crew to play with there.

Yeah , seems like 4 with fenn or strezra is the way to go. You could do 3 and a tracer or poon z and use the sheathapede to coordinate the z for a better alpha the way I did with miranda at the invitational after I used a time machine to copy Jeremy's list.

I assume VI, FAA, (Tactician/Intel Agent/Cassian) is the way to go here?

This is assuming 20 points base for the PS 1, if it's 19 you can run 4X and a 30 point ship, aka Probably Lowhrick.

Inb4 cavern angles also cost 21 base but have an illicit.

My relationship with Ahsoka is actually platonic. I just get sick of hearing people saying rude stuff about her and I was very tired so I defended her using @Brunas logic. It's a problem that I have - if I'm friends with someone, I start to think like them even if it makes my thoughts weird.

On the topic of our regularly scheduled content (TM), I think people are underestimating the power of four X-Wings (not neccesarily all T-65s), such as Hobbie/Biggs/Garven/Jess.

Here's what I'm thinking:

•Biggs Darklighter (25) - X-Wing (T-65)
•"Chopper" (1), Renegade Refit (-2), Integrated Astromech (0), Servomotor S-foils (0)

•"Hobbie" Klivian (25) - X-Wing (T-65)
Targeting Astromech (2), Renegade Refit (-2), Servomotor S-foils (0), Integrated Astromech (0)

•Garven Dreis (26) - X-Wing (T-65)
•R2-D6 (1), Renegade Refit (-2), Integrated Astromech (0), Veteran Instincts (0), Servomotor S-foils (0)

•Jess Pava (25) - T-70 X-Wing
•R4-D6 (1), Integrated Astromech (0)
