I will unapologetically play Outriders, but I won't really feel that sad when they get nerfed. It's part of life. But bad players' reactions to anything to do with the meta are hilarious.

She's like a clone of him where they replaced his Y-chromosome with a second copy of his X-chromosome or something weird like that.

Sadly, I'm still unsure whether the fixes will bring him up to the level of Poe in terms of point efficiency...

What if VI flight assist wedge with Integrated, Barrel Roll, and ability to turn his 3 hards into talon rolls cost 29? Is that cheap enough?

I think the new stressbot Fenn variant of ghost fenn would do very bad things to that version of Rey plus that Nym. Raclo would wipe the floor with it and most 3 ship lists would wreck it I think. Nym is too squishy and can't buff Rey well. I'd stick to Lowhhrick. A version of this did win Nashville regionals, but Nym had a harpoon I think. I also think the ghost player approached very badly.

his cost too is pretty decent at that rate (which I hope it is) but I'm not sure that rationally I can take his mobility over Poe's defence if I purely want to win and am only taking one partner for Rey anyway.

I've been having success with Expertise IA FFA Wedge, it's not the cheapest way to build him, but it's still fun as **** and puts through a lot of hurt. I had a Nym Assaj on the ropes with a Norra/Wedge/Jan Ors list and I'd argue that Wedge did most of the heavy lifting. Came down to Norra vs Assaj with 1 hull each, and Norra with Harpoon. unfortunately I didn't get close enough to Assaj for the harpoon to go off when I couldn't kill Assaj

I've used that build with Wedge as well. It's not the best use of points for a tournament... but it's the best use of points. Definitely hits hard. The tricky bit is keeping him alive long enough to get his punches in. The FAA allows you to skirt a few firing arcs though if you're clever enough and able to deceive your opponent.

The trick is to have other targets that are higher priority than Wedge. Or at least confuse targeting priority. If you can hit and fade with Wedge using FFA that is a solid option as well. 3 hard boost disengage is a valid tactic after attacking. I like using him as a fast moving flanker. I'm going to be practicing the list I mentioned a lot more. Seems to be doing okay against of the heavy hitters in my community. I need to get back up the ladder after falling from a top 5 player to a bottom 3 player as of late lol

Do you like Clone Wars like ten times more and wish that they'd just made another entire season of that, but where every single hero character was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker? Because that's pretty much how I feel at this point. Rebels is fun, but I would've rather had like one or two seasons of Rebels and like four more seasons of Clone Wars.
Also, I'm convinced Wedge will supersede Poe in that archetype. Because he's cheaper and Rey definitely needs Expertise, EU, and all kinds of other expensive stuff, and leaves Poe in a sad, regen-less state if she uses up all those squadpoints, whereas Wedge is just a bit cheaper and can still do tons of crazy stuff. The question is, will the new X-Wing fix make him Autothrusters-capable? And why is Black One T-70 only?!?

Fenn died. Serissu died. Asajj is at 1 hull and on the rock... panicked from last round (nearly dying) and tried to circle around behind... and failed. I had one Phantom with 1 hull left after that round, but otherwise was smiling.

Obviously not enough Interceptors. Five of them would've been fine - with Autothrusters and some good points bunkering, you'd be almost guaranteed to win on final salvo.

The five interceptor fortress is pretty fun to see, the different openings and manic combat is pretty cool. Five interceptors Vs five strikers, now there's a game.
