Also, thanks.
Seeing this juggler entry brings back lots of nice memories: it was my lowest point of xwing enjoyment ever, palpa aces were running rampant and skill intensive evade autothruster palpatine was frustrating as **** but then I played Dan hars corran Wes biggs list and I had a blast! Won my first regional with that and got to the top8 of a sos and a national.
I really miss Wes (and old corran...)

Communities on all continents could do a better job self-submitting data
Communities on all continents don't really care enough to do it. And they don't have a real reason to care.
Most of the community is here because it's star wars and fun (aka casual). They go to major events for the swag.
Why would they go above and beyond to insert their lists in a database they never heard of nor look at?

You can join if you'd like, but you'd need to join the Discord because Chris doesn't spam all this stuff here

Yeah, this is the real problem. No one really cares, and I don't really blame them. Especially when the cost to go to an event is low, most people attending won't care about listfortress data, and we have no way to motivate them (yet). If we can get people motivated enough, we solve it. But until then, we have to rely on a small number of people putting in as many lists as they do know (Which works for smaller events, but not large ones).

that's down to the community leaders. It can be as simple as using tabletop.to for your local tournaments and letting people know about listfortress. People love to see their names in lights.
26 lists in, from streams and people I played or know
Two others already put in their list. But I really doubt we'll get to more than 50

Awesome! Unironically, 26 is way, way better than 0.
While I understand the impetus, self-selection of lists that get entered seems problematic, and makes me twitch.
(I know I should have entered my 0-2-Drop with Inferno at the Mountain View HST, and I know that if I had done well I would have, but ... I didn't. (It got entered, FWIW, probably by MPB (the Marshall) or a Militant Casual, but I didn't enter it.))

thats why I don't go in the chat anymore. I don't have enough downtime at work anymore to keep up with it.

Highway was blocked coming in. It’s ok. There were three cases of Canadian beer in my car destined never to return
hey so is it just me or is metawing for some reason missing a bunch of trial data?
https://meta.listfortress.com/ship_combos?ranking_start=2019-07-13&tournament_type=3&
clicking through, it looks like only half the trials on fortress so far actually got imported correctly - I'm not seeing lists from paducah, top deck, or recess, maybe more?
https://meta.listfortress.com/pilots/96?ranking_start=2019-07-13&tournament_type=3&
there's been a lot more than three builds with fenn rau so far, for example

Definitely. There were 7 Soontirs at Tucson alone https://listfortress.com/tournaments/868
but there are only 7 total listed here: https://meta.listfortress.com/pilots/187/squadrons?ranking_start=2019-07-13&tournament_type=3&
But one of the Tucson Soontirs is listed there. So they have the event, which is fully filled out, but it's being filtered weirdly.

I figured it was possible the squadron view wasn't complete, possibly by design... but the archetype list I expected to be, and the archetype counts seem wrong too
mysterious
I think it's only pulling one instance of an archetype per event?
Yeah, it does seem like only one instance of each archetype is pulled for certain events; for example, the Jacksonville Hyperspace Trial (https://listfortress.com/tournaments/843) had 2 Sinker + 104th + 4xTorrent lists, but only one of them is shown in the archetype page: https://meta.listfortress.com/ship_combos/1405/squadrons?
But as svelok pointed out, whole tournaments seem to be missing as well; the Paducah Hyperspace Trial (https://listfortress.com/tournaments/890) was won by another Sinker + 104th + 4xTorrent list, but that's not showing up in the archetype page at all.
