Who runs rocks with the Falcon? Gas cloud was the superior choice... now probably back to debris.

It's kinda sad that the best "Commander" type upgrade Imperials have is majorly NPE, and it's even sadder that its maybe still worse than just triple aces.

I feel like quad Saber Sloane might feel super bad for opponents because while Sloan is pretty effective if they're playing 3 ship lists, 4 Sabers are all mini Soontirs if your opponent happens to have large numbers of low initiative ships that would otherwise not care a lot about Sloane.

Philosophical mystery of the day:

What is the only ship in the game that can field 4 copies of Outmaneuver at I4?

TIE/in.

Quad Sabers at I4 with double-repo Outmaneuver and a Shield Upgrade.

Absolutely disgusting for any generic swarm.

It's the UN jousters.

But I can get 5 Interceptors, and one of them can be Soontir.

But Soontir dies.

Then all the Alphas run away.

They're not alphas.

Did everybody collectively forget to take their medication this morning? Or wait... maybe I did, and I'm hallucinating... none of this makes any sense today...

Yes, most probably it's me, and this is all fine.

I’ll take a stressed shot rather than no shot at all, but then again I don’t fly big bases as much so I hit obstacles more often than I dodge them.

Sloane is totally interactive as you always have the option to not destroy my ships which is your only win condition

Or kill ships with ships you don't mind being double stressed

...or just kill the sloane carrier?

These smell a whole lot like player interaction.

Apparently it want me to double post, so I'll triple post instead.

Just because an opponent is inflicting some negative mechanic on you doesn't mean it's uninteractive, even if it's difficult to avoid.

Your lower initiative (and therefore less important) ships are even the ones more likely to kill your stuff.

Doesn't matter though, we can run 6 Hyenas with Prox Mines, Struts, and two of them can even have discord missiles for good measure.

I love how, this many years in, you’re still trying to be reasonable.

That's what everyone said about Ensnare, and it wasn't true until last week.

EDIT: Not saying it isn't true in this case. I actually love Sloane and think she's just as interactive as most FO stuff; bad choices all around – at least you get to pick your poison. Kanan with Hate might be a good case of these for Rebels now as well. We'll see.

...

Vader with Afterburners, Mag-Pulse, and PS is going to be killer. And will probably carry a significant bid for first player.

First player OP plz nerf.

Actually I question how necessary/viable I6 will even be? It's definitely the ne plus ultra but probably won't need a bid to get a good deal... Or maybe it will because everyone will realize this? Is the biggest bid still at I5 or is it down to I4 now? Or even I3?! I guess everything's kind of up in the air now.

No, you're missing the point.

Ensnare on Sun Fac is uninteractive (arguably even after the change, but less so) because it's generally impossible to avoid. Your opponent is going to tractor you, and that's how it is. You don't get a vote.
