"Every mechanic given to the First Order and Empire is inherently fair, well costed and not an NPE because their ships are 'frail'"

Ironically, most of the unfair and npe stuff in imperials is buried on the power curve beneath move last token stackers (which are also, obviously incredibly fair and skillful) so the really unfun stuff doesn't even need to get played. Meanwhile the worst meta ever in second edition was when rebels could play several high hit point ships.

I have a feeling named Ten/Braylen + StabFoils is going to be quite the thing in the new meta; this is making me very tempted to break my max-2-of-anything rule and get a 3rd B-wing.

It tempts me to bring back Thannison in extended and use mag pulse in Hyperspace.

It's kinda sad that the best "Commander" type upgrade Imperials have is majorly NPE, and it's even sadder that its maybe still worse than just triple aces.

I feel like quad Saber Sloane might feel super bad for opponents because while Sloan is pretty effective if they're playing 3 ship lists, 4 Sabers are all mini Soontirs if your opponent happens to have large numbers of low initiative ships that would otherwise not care a lot about Sloane.

I don't think Braylen needs the foils, he's the best spot for cannons, but the cannons in HS are kinda limited. I just really like them on ten so i can setup focus/lock easily, if people shoot at him, i'll use his stress on defense, or really at the first opportunity, this makes him a much better closer.

People generally were not upset when their ship, that got double stressed at range six for one shotting wampa, had whisper with vader crew and juke behind it melting it down. It's not like it's something super unfun to play against, like a bwing with rerolls.

Edit, i'm sorry, i forgot the b wing white k turns every 3 turns, it's the every three turns part that makes it really opressive and totally different from a white k turning defender that gets a free evade every turn, which is absolutely fair and fun to play against.

Claiming Sloane uninteractive is trying to redefine interactive.

How else can you demonstrate how deep the brain ridges you've attained are if if you can't be immune to damage moving last?

Also, same team - rebels are the unironic good guys of 2e, even their high point of power level was firing arcs.

You forget how fair and fun and interactive double stressing things is now that it's an imperial mechanic. "Just kill the ship with reinforce first" is also a fair and fine expectation, now that it's imperial

Chris 'only rebels are npe cuz it's not an npe if imperials do it' allen

Sloane is totally interactive as you always have the option to not destroy my ships which is your only win condition

The imperial list from worlds finals got nerfed by 2 points, the rebel list from worlds finals stayed the same.

Of course. We want the good guys to win, right?

this is where we dance the awkward "are the rebels the good guys or are they terrorists" debate, right?

Well, Imperials won. Everything is fine.

Mag Pulse Vader looks like a lot of fun for 75 points.

Krayt Daily Discussion: how much will Mag Pulse Warheads cost come July?

"NPE" is purely subjective.

Bold of you to assume Han won’t stuff some mag pulse warheads in the tubes.
