Pretty good, but next time I field a VCX, it's going to be Fulcrum with some 2 Tubes Jyn shenanigans:

Anyways, an important step is pray that Mag pulse doesn't roll by to do the expected 1 dmg then jam those plans of reinforce against 4 more shots away.

E-Wings were my absolute favorite Rebel ship in 1.0. Why? No reason really. But, maybe because it conjured up fond memories of Battlestar Galactica; like a heavy Viper or something? Anyway, I loved flying them, but they flamed out like non-Vader’s TIE Advanced when you made a bad move or got caught in a good move by your opponent. But still, I flew a squad of three Blackmoon Squadron with a droid each (I think that’s what they were called).

No one ever said I was smart; but they surprised a few? ...maybe?

So every points update I go and look at Sloane because I don't like that card, and after this update you can fit quite a bit next to her now such as a Lambda+4 tie lns+interceptor+aggressor/bomber. 7 ship Sloane swarms sounds like a terrible list to play against.

Last points change the fun “count to 200” seemed like first order. Is it resistance this time, or have I just been looking at them the most and it works everywhere now? With lowest generics I have successfully counted to 200 with:

Say, could generic Fireballs be the ship which actually makes Targeting Synchronizer make sense?

A-Wing gets a lock. A bunch of Colossus Station Mechanics launch their missiles. 5 Fireballs with Missiles + Tallie can fit.

But I suppose you'd be **** out of luck if the A-Wing ever goes down, since these buggers don't have a Lock action. :P

I knew Braylen and Ten would hit hard...I underestimated how hard. When Braylen casually deleted a full health K-Fighter by lock -> barrel rolling into an R1 bullseye it put a nice exclamation point on that. Gina and the generics don't seem to be able to use it as well because they don't have the mods of Braylen or Ten, but probably still worth looking at (only 46 for a Blue Squadron with S-foils and auto).

I was pretty far off on how impactful Gina would be. I thought her pilot ability would just be a cool trick that you used every so often, but it opened up a lot of options to maneuver Ten and Braylen (or plan your actions) and fix later the issue if they needed but didn't have a stress. It let me do blues to keep an open dial and options if Braylen/Ten weren't blocked, but didn't run the risk of being caught modless if I did get blocked. It actually resulted in a kill at least one turn earlier in all 3 games. She's not amazing, but there's more there than I initially thought.

I'm mulling around if the 39-40pt X-wings represent a bigger power curve shift than originally anticipated. It's easy to just look at points, but the game impact of it just being easier to wedge in a more relevant-statted ship than you would previously is a lot higher than the 1-2pt drop. Need more testing, but it's already somewhat changed how I look at Rebel list building to a disproportionate degree and other baseline ships saw similar treatment.

Sloane shuttle with 4 crack sabers is where I'm starting. I think i1 generics are a trap because

And I also think 5x at i2 makes anything at i2(?) difficult. But 4 crack sabers has some decent chances at initiative killing enough stuff early to stay alive against generic swarms, which are Sloane's worst enemy, and then essentially be double reposition aces in the end game.

I have a feeling named Ten/Braylen + StabFoils is going to be quite the thing in the new meta; this is making me very tempted to break my max-2-of-anything rule and get a 3rd B-wing.

You forget how fair and fun and interactive double stressing things is now that it's an imperial mechanic. "Just kill the ship with reinforce first" is also a fair and fine expectation, now that it's imperial
