5 FOs you say? Here's my skepticism.

Do you want Vonreg and:

Kylo Ren (76)

“Quickdraw” (45)
Special Forces Gunner (10)
Total: 131

or

Epsilon Squadron Cadet (26)

Epsilon Squadron Cadet (26)

Epsilon Squadron Cadet (26)

Epsilon Squadron Cadet (26)

Epsilon Squadron Cadet (26)
Total: 130

Did you read my first paragraph?

Compared to the Imperial TIE dial, the FO dial is sweeet.

True, though they don't play together as well as the TIE/LNs. And, 2 dice guns don't play very well apart.

Lesigh.....

Best version of kylo 4 i found was sf sf sf ep which is a big reason why I ended up abandoning it. Soontir Howl Swarm is pretty solid but requires tavson levels of darwinism compared to trip empire jedi.

How many Academy Pilots do you need to fit in order to take them over Soontir? Is it 3? Because that's 69 points.

I don't think a straight points cost comparison is worth anything. Would you put Soontir into a tie swarm instead of Wampa and an academy? Because you can do that, but you won't.

Force multipliers (Howl, Iden, Drea, Torkil, Rebel Leia) work better when more ships can take advantage of them. FO doesn't have any good ones (or doesn't have a ship to carry them, lol Hux on a starkiller?)

You want more generic things? FFG needs to make more force multiplier support ships/upgrades. And stop nerfing the ones that do work already.

Or more things with access to crackshot and advanced optics. Id like to see more generics with talent slots.

I did, I was trying to agree with you in a roundabout way and failed :(

Hadn’t played a fang since wave 2 dropped. They’re still good.

Also. Scyk are decent.

Give me 2pt discount now please.

But also, also. It's more than possible to make a lot of these BAD things competitive, with lots of right stuff applied. Sometimes the marginal is almost neglible. But it's a bit weird to try. So it also happens less.

Serissu with Tractor Beam to weaken enemy targets was nice, until Nantex was released and FFG weakened tractor to reduce Nantex NPE.

Until Force and Calculate began to run rampant, Genesis Red was a fun filler in early 2nd ed, before release of Republic and Seppies.

For lolz I played a swarm of Autoblasters Serissu, Laetin, Sunny, Spacer together with Seevor and Ahaav. People at the club here hated it because it was difficult to kill, and a chaotic flying circus (all my Scyks are repainted in differing styles), good at creating kill boxes. But the Scyk dial is just a tad to predictable, and damage output still was too low.

So, yeah, overcosted.

This was a "obviously Soontir can't cost that much" post, and I did not realize it until the paragraph after the one that suggested Soontir + 16 points.

Hah, definitely not dirty, but I had store credit and (foolishly?) got one a bit ago, so it had to happen eventually. Dengar sure isn't great, but he can still convince folks to not shoot at him by pointing at them really close up.

What struck me about the Fangs, that I'd forgotten, was how relatively easy it is to range control with them. They can lie in wait for as long as they want, then strike like a serpent.

Noooo, we need to advance my pet project that fangs have been pushed out by a plethora of passive mods and multi arc ships and are deserving of a points reduction!

"Best" part about point adjustments is getting to see what good stuff they give points reductions.

Conversely, how truly vulnerable to getting blocked they are. Once you accept the linked action stress, you'd better freaking have an escape plan.

EDIT: only the high-init guys of course. Recruits have more options usually.

Dream points:

vonreg: 69 points (nice)

ensnare to 420 points

vader to 66 (execute it)

n1 to 12 because they're pretty

Sure, but drop all Nantexes accordingly. Bullseye primary is love.

Agreed, but there are times when you don't have to clear the stress. Hide in clouds, 1-hard to to stay in range 1 and/or avoid shots, purposeful bump, etc.

I'm just saying I'd forgotten how cool they are.

Droids super friendly with Mynocks, can we use these for tournaments plz?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Munitions Cache only requires overlap, so a fly onto a rock, pick up a Proton Torpedo, lock and fire in the same turn? (With a calculate from a buddy obviously)
