Correction, I've played Midnight with Lone Wolf 50% of the time. Also PA was on Nien, Ello only had SFoils.

Personally don't think so, they fold too readily. Losing one before it fires is highly possible and then it's a battle for the RZ-2 player to keep the squad afloat and dealing enough damage.
It's also needs to be played in a well balanced way. Chasing Snap Shot is gonna put the As in positions to get blasted off the table. Not chasing Snap Shot is gonna see at least half of them shooting out the butt, thereby not using it enough to make up for the missing 5th A wing.
It is very hard to play against though, it'll catch a lot of people out and whitewash you if you're not ready for it. Mass Snap is very mean on its own, attached to something so mobile.
Top tables though, I think it gets crushed by sensible people that range control and just fire ALL THE GUNS.
