Please don't try to turn this into a legit discussion. They need no more charges. If anything they're still too powerful and will likely go up in points. Any card that seems to be a staple goes up. And I'm ok with that. Any cards that make this game take longer can go straight to ****!

This just opens the door for infinite regen.

Regen is still already too good for it's cost, and probably should cost 10+ (pricing based on best usage, knowing that that is too expensive for y-wings, etc. Thank the jedi)

You can't convince me that the objectively worst faction doesn't simply attract disproportionately strong players so they can feel like architects, plus the draw of faction-locked swag.

Literally none of the data supports them being objectively the worst. Not a lot of players are taking them, but their cut rates at major events have consistently been even or positive. By all metrics, Rebels are objectively the worst faction right now and CIS isn't even close to being as bad as they are. You need to look over some tournament data.

Actually doesn't sound half bad, although I feel like it's a major can of Sarlacc pits to open. If the designers decide to do it I don't think we'll see it for awhile, because it kind of goes back to the "what is fair pricing?". Example of Proton Torpedoes. Should they cost the same on a Scimitar squadron pilot as a Gray squadron bomber? However, at what point are the Protons torps priced correctly? should they be a point cheaper on the Bomber because it doesn't have shields, or a point higher because of an extra green die? Also where does initiative fit into all of this? idk.

Of course the other problem is that if you make everything expensive then putting upgrades on ships is going to be like:

Which maybe isn't such a bad thing if the chassis's are adjusted a little more anyway.

That seems super undercosted for non-aethersprites at 2 points on Luke/Wedge

Non-Aethersprites -

agility * (1 + 5 * 0)

agility * (1 + 0)

agility * 1 = agility

base agility * (IF(ship name == aethersprite, 6, 4)) feels better

Also I unironically demand variable pricing of every upgrade for every pilot for every format in a gigantic book-sized PDF, but it's never going to happen because people like memorizing costs and like having the same list in all the formats.
