Does this do what I think it does?

Yes, and if it's a spreadsheet you can lead your rows for later pilots with

If([pilot name cell]="", "", [your formula]) to make them go away when that Row's pilot doesn't exist!

Closing rows if the pilot is blank prevents open-ended queries like "how do squads that have both soontir and vader do?"

On the other hand the lazy way to have blank pilots check for duplicates means the lookup stops being order-agnostic and I'm lazy

Build up a head of steam, look kind of impressive for a second, spin out, and ultimately crash gloriously? I think it does.

Are you looking to do shenanigans with free Barrel Rolls or Boosts?

Yea, coordinate focus to both, tractor forward, 5 straight, boost AA silencer striker to the other side of the board. Can do the same for 1 ship with something else biohexed and far away. Seems a funny way to double boost 5 straight flankz. Real goal is to become a cat in a box as fast as possible.

Fight Me Friday:

  • Every good archetype in the meta right now besides Regen Jedi is incredibly wholesome.

Questions:

  • Why haven't we found actually broken lists this far into a point adjustment?
  • They cant only exist in Republic right?
  • Is everyone just waiting for the obviously broken things to arrive with the Nantex and Republic Upgrade Card Pack?

"wholesome" is just a personal preference. Many people hate Finn shenanigans. Chewie+pods shenanigans. Droid swarms (especially those with landing struts). It's like free speech, people want it banned if it doesn't agree with how they think things should be.

Do you consider the Inquisitor lists wholesome? Asking for a friend.

Shouldn't the real question be do you as the player consider it wholesome enough to play? And do you care what your opponent thinks?

Inquisitor lists are pretty much good because they use the ace game against them - just run games to time. Against other stuff they're super fair.

My favorite part about Star Wars. Running to time. So thematic. Like flying through asteroids refusing to shoot back and looking for a crater to hide in. Or faking an honorable joust so you can get behind them and hide until they give up and let you win by declaring your ship trash before they jump to hyperspace. Or Obi-Wan running from the wholesome firespray seismic charge combo tricking Boba and his "dad" into thinking they were up on points.

Yes. Force is undercosted but its still much closer to wholesome than broken. No question.

The Finn pod should be banned because it reminds me of Canto Bight

This is why I like the original trilogy aka "first edition" better. Before they arbitrarily added fuel limitations aka "charges".

Exactly! How many times did Luke yell at R2D2 "see what you can do about that thing" and he beeped back "Nope, out of fuel/batteries/charges"? It just doesn't happen. They keep trying. Even BB8 had infinite little poker thingies to fix Poe's X-Wing until he ran out of time and jammed his head into it all.

Only when they have to many charges. Or charges that regen while bumped, rocked, or stressed.
