I think it's Tiny Plo on the base chit that makes me laugh the most.

Overall I just really enjoy the thematic feel of the modest, humble Jedi adorning everything around him with his big mug.

Just saw the... everything. With such a pretty face, why wouldn't you see it everywhere? Magazines. Movies. Posters. Lunchboxes. Target Locks and Dial covers...

Nice to see an honest worlds prize opinion post. "WTB" is right. So excited to see the waves of people complaining about prizes they'll never have a chance at getting without the almighty dollar. REEEE!!! ALTERNATE PAINT JOB!!! #MoneyGrab

That reminds me that I'm kind of irked that smaller torunament kits don't really have tokens in them anymore. Tokens are fun. It's nice for folks who can't travel to large tournaments to get access to stuff like that now and again.

Well, I'm guessing it's cheaper than the hotel and travl costs, so this is just the market in action.

Id say HSTs are a pretty fair level to include them given how many there were. Not sure what kits you did, but the last round of kits we did locally have had metal tokens, so id say ffg has done well on that front

What? The parts without access to boats?

Your kits are obsolete? There's just cards in them these days... not complaining though, really. It makes those little kit tournaments a heck of a lot less blood thirsty

I lost mine in a boating accident?

Ok, that joke has run it's course. We now return you to the Plo show...

Totally disagree that FFG has done well on this front.

Last few kits we've gotten have been alt-arts only.

Metal Evade/Focus tokens were almost a year ago, when all the prizes were still dual-sided 1e/2e. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2018/8/20/join-the-blue-squadron/

Meanwhile, the number of HSTs depends greatly by where you live. My state (Maine) had none in either wave, only one in an adjacent state in either wave, and the second wave only had one in all of New England. To be sure, a lot of players have probably had easy access to a lot of HSTs, but clearly they're not remotely as widespread as Store Championships used to be, or as accessible as the old kit tournaments were.

But the people selling those should sell them at a FAIR price! It's only a $20 expansion, I'll pay $25, no more! /s

its not about legality, its all about merchandising

Plo Koon the toilet paper
Plo Koon the musical

there was that one they advertised on the ffg op facebook page back in June that had the new stress tokens in it. what happened to that one?

Premium kit season 2 is what it was called. anyone seen it in the wild?

Er... FFG OP killed at least one prize kit. Local store received a notice that their wouldn't be coming and was never produced after months of back-order. I honestly could not tell you which that was. Haven't been running tournaments all summer due to other commitments.

there's a non-zero chance I'd be willing to sell it to you. I did open up a builder for the first time to see what Plo would fit in though...

I know they axed the wave 3 deluxe kit. Haven't heard of any others. hm.... well, I hope my store get one. those tokens look nice.

TIL i'm way behind on handing out prize kits lol.

Although it's a lot of cards, for cheap. I ran a small tourney on Sunday. $5 entry, we gave away $40 in store credit, and everybody got up to 10 alt-arts (of six different kinds).

Yes, and if it's a spreadsheet you can lead your rows for later pilots with

If([pilot name cell]="", "", [your formula]) to make them go away when that Row's pilot doesn't exist!
