Probably 1-2, honestly (at least for hyperspace).

I flew Lando and Corran last night for some dank times guys. Turns out dropping the whole list with upgrades by 23 points is pretty good. Corran got 2 fully modified proton torps off with trickshot against the same target last night 2 rounds in a row because of Leia crew. I'm wondering if we'll see some Corran action at Toronto

I think Krennic's main issue is that his ability is so situational and requires an action. Anything he can ride on wants it's actions for other stuff, so he could be free and you still might see games where he wasn't used.

If there was a Force Crew made HS legal (7th Sister) which coincided with a Krennic points drop I think there would be a better case for taking him, but yeah I've noticed that when I try to make him work it just isn't worth it most of the time.

I sort of agree, but i suspect if he was free, he’d be too easily to always slot in when you brought a crew carrier (even in extended).
As we’ve seen, 1-2 is ‘basically ‘ free, but enough of a cost you won’t bring it unless you intend to use it (except leia, which is so good relative to cost it warps building a bit).

Sure. I wasn't trying to make an argument that he should be free, just that if he was it probably wouldn't even be that big a deal. I agree with 1-2.

I feel like if I am not using Leia as Rebels, I'm wrong - even in Han squads.

Same
If Krennic drops to 2 or 3 points is he worth looking at in combination with GGI crew? If you put it on a reaper it's starting to get pretty expensive, but you are getting a pretty good amount of economy out of it.

That does seem okay. You can more accurately identify the right target to lock.
My issue with him in Hyperspace is is that who do you make the Prototype? Vader doesn't really need mods, so you put it on A Striker? Striker isn't lasting long to make use of the ability. Maarek? Seems not great.

Countdown? More likely, Sabacc.

All in all it feels like a lot of work for results that aren't way better than just doing normal actions.

almost as if he needs Lambda with title to make him worthwhile 🙄

Oicunn when he's legal?
Optimize yourself? **** can't optimize yourself in 2.0. "Another friendly ship". Womp womp.

Yeah Krennic on Sai/ST title is legit, but that's probably the only decent way to fly him.

Well, you can fit Vader/Vermeil/Patrol leader with Krennic. You optimize Vermeil. Still pretty janky.

I voluntarily surrendered my Fenn license. I like setting up the box, I don’t want to have to avoid it!

for this reason, I've only ever used him on Sai with ST-321.

Not with that attitude.

Probably the reason why he is 5 points. A situation where an upgrade is certainly overcosted for Hyperspace, but maybe fairly costed in Extended.

@Kaptin Krunch lacks the will to win, I guess. It’s too bad... he was on the verge of greatness.
Mind helping my satisfy my own curiosity? Sloane is contentious for whether or not it's "fun" or "ok". You don't have to justify your answer, just curious if you personally find Sloane an enjoyable game experience - or rather, not a negative experience. It doesn't need to be GOLLY GEE I SURE LOVE PLAYING AGAINST SLOANE, more of a "I don't hate playing against it" or not.

That's... still tricky?
I've played against Sloane two or three times. I won every game, though in all cases it was due to the Sloane carrier getting caught out of position and killed off quickly rather than any real skill on my part, and I haven't suffered from the worst of Sloane's effects. I find the concept quite distasteful and it's a match I prefer to dodge.
I have yet to use her, but I should... imagine every Academy TIE is a self-destructing R3-A2... and the problems all go away?
Yeah, I don't like it. It's interesting though.
