I'm sorry, but this is what I see when I look at the Tri-fighter.
Carolina Krayts is the best X-Wing podcast
Holy ****, I am one of the people in the very small subset of people who “Don’t have any scum stuff to convert and also already own a Decimator.”
Guess what? I will happily buy a new Decimator to get my hands on that sweet sweet triple zero.
How dare y’all bismirch the Trifighter.

I will bring a stack of AA 0-0-0 cards to Krayt Cup if you want it so bad.
Or if you aren't going to KC4 I can ship you a set or something.
I also did not buy a scum conversion kit and already owned 2 Decis- I just made an AA card.

But in that case, why not buy the Scum Conversion kit anyways and sell the contents of the kit? It's only marginally more expensive than the new VT-49 will be, and you could easily sell a few of the cards (e.g. Maul to a Rebel player for $5 or more) and ship-conversion content to people looking to convert a few more ships. I mean, it's a lot of work, sure, but will make up a fair bit of the cost. Alternatively, just buy a 0-0-0 on the after market or else make a passable proxy (either as "fan alt art" or straight up "counterfeit stand-in"). The latter solution seems the cheapest and easiest.

my favorite part of the new episode is the part where Han Solo is super powerful because he can take his one defense die and set it on any side he wants, because it reminds me that if Wedge were to get rid of that die, it would be "statistically insignificant."

If wedges ability applied to your oppoenents entire list instead of the ship he happens to be shooting at we'd be a little higher on it
How much would you pay to give a 38 point i3 Inquisitor the Delta7b Config (making it 3/2/2/4)?
More than 20?
What kind of prices are we looking at for Deltas, Delta7b, and Calibrated Lasers?

I own three scum ships. A starviper that came in the autothrusters expansion pack, a khiraz, and another starviper that both came in the harpoon missiles expansion pack. Never again, man. I’m giving FFG a chance to live up to the statement they made at launch.
Also, I maybe, just maybe, could use another Decimator in some meme list. Breaking up a scum kit and selling it is more trouble than it is worth.

I mean, the answer is while they made the promise, the didn’t promise they all drop at the same time - that was projected by the community.
like scum BT and 000 might drop with aYv666, or jumomaster, etc.

Yes, and I am willing to give them time to make their statement true.
Edited by Dismal ScientistI would've enjoyed listening to the meeting where FFG had to decide whether including the new wave 4 cannon in the B-Wing would have made people more or less angry than excluding it
let's be real, the venn diagram is pretty much a circle

Wedge and Han are basically the same...
...except for the HP...
...and the large base boost...
...and fact that Han's ability triggers on every dice roll, including crits, R2-D2, and obstacles...
...And he regens...
But really, wedge is clearly the han counter because he removes han's green die, once per turn.

I don't know whether to laugh or sad face this...
I would have loved for them to add new stuff. But I am glad that they made the probably right decision for an increasingly frustrating community.

Is the decimator in battlefront 2? or still just entirely FFG-made?

I meant upgrades, not ships. No clue about the decimator in bf2.
Specifically not uncluding the cannon with the bwing, but also maybe new pilots.
I think they made the right call, and I'm a bit sad that it's the right call.

It is. It's the hero ship actually.
I may try a Han/Wedge list. Best of both worlds

Decimator was created in Star Wars: Galaxies game.
At present, the only FFG invention and addition to the Star Wars galaxy is the Raider... Which I found hideous at first but it's slowly growing on me. (hate those side Interceptor panels...)
Edit: it’s the Raider in BF2

I feel like the Armada Raider model looks a lot better than the X-Wing one. The panels look better when they're closer [maybe closer isn't the right word] to the ship, IMHO.

They've said multiple times that wedges ability is very dependent on the enemy. Turns out defenders and phantoms and Han have green dice that mean more than say, another x-wing or a b-wing's dice because they have ways of making that 3/8ths of an evade more.
But sure. Ok.

the more a ships green's dice are consistently modded, the more value there is to removing it.
Removing a rando T65's green that only had a focus to begin with (or not even one), does much less than a token-stacked, or multi-rerolling ship's die.

The reason I'm allowing it at Krayt Cup is:
1. it appears to be mostly fine - the calculate cost on declaring c3po keeps it limited, not like leebo
2. it also appears to be what's intended for how Han works. Maybe?
I know you're mostly joking around on wedge of course, but others already noted why even c3po han doesn't mind wedge that much - if han is c3poing, he's not boosting (unless coordinate etc is involved which is hard in rebels), which means he's probably eating multiple shots. If he's eating multiple shots, he'll have plenty of opportunities to c3po. That being said, it's of course still annoying, especially in an end game scenario.
I give you (and only you) permission to errata your MS paint Wedge with an asterisk to be "statistically insignificant*" "*actually significant in edge cases where the defender is doing something crazy with modding low numbers of green dice"
