there's a chance that they choice the Deci over the Lambda as they didn't want to try to make a large base support ship the next release.
That being said, I would have much rather had the Interceptor as the next wave. This coming from the guy who has 2 cusomized Kraytinators.

The kit will be handed to everyone when it arrives. It’s been done before, and while it’s a lot better to receive it on spot, I wouldn’t mind much. The tournament date was announced early in december, so when the new-points date was announced, it was just a case of bad luck. I think having everyone change their lists the day before would have been a lot worse.
I’m sure you haven’t been to Asturias, nor have you tasted their awesome food... people go to that tournament mostly to have fun meeting old friends, eating nice food, and drinking a lot... the X-Wing part is just a bonus
Who is better, Ten Numb or Braylen? What are the pros and cons? Both can easily stress themselves by intentionally failing a barrel roll after focus.
Also, had a small tournament yesterday. Last game was my 5 As vs BBBBA. That was a walk on the knife's edge!

- Ten should always have an open dial, but can only remove the stress once. Double mods by taking a TL, but how does he then get stress?
- Braylen wants to move blue, but can use his rerolls as often as needed. Double mods by taking a focus. He has an easier time to get that offense, but has an effectively worse dial.

Pretty much this. Braylenn just has way more consistency than Ten and is tankier with that defensive reroll. If you are worried about his dial, Cassian is a good support ship, especially with Leia.
This will probably be annoying.

I feel like when I'm looking at building Braylen vs Ten, I keep wanting to put more and more expensive upgrades on Ten in order to get him to work. Advanced Sensors a Lock, into a red move. Braylen? Like just Crack Shot or HLC. It's not always true, but I feel like, if you need to put a lot of extras on a ship to make them work, maybe it isn't as good as the alternative.
Man, all this is making me remember why the B-Wing aces are my least favorite ships to play against. I hope we never get an I5...

A local ran a deci Sloane swarm and it was pretty spooky. No idea if it's good, but Sloane sure is.

Sloane is great, but I'm not sure if she's in the new Deci. Guess we'll have to wait and see, cause HS legal Sloane could be a good Poe counter.

Oh, oops, sorry...you were probably talking about Hyperspace stuff when the Wave 4 deci hits?
I'd caution rooting for Sloane in Hyperspace. From a purely Imperial standpoint, great! From a game balance standpoint, her presence would likely neuter Scum and Resistance pretty heavily since they have a large reliance on self-stressing ships. Maybe that'd be fine come Wave 4 when we have 7 factions. I'm a fan of Resistance A-Wings, Poe and Fangs, though, so I'm probably biased.

I'm not sure folks realize how many self-stressing mechanics are in the game until they face a Sloane swarm. It feels bad to be punished for doing what your ship/pilot is supposed to do, then being punished again for killing ships, like you're supposed to do.
Edited by gennataosI'm not so sure Admiral Sloan would be that bad in hyperspace, there are other re-roll mechanics, there is Leah who will be in every Rebel list (reducing stress), and you must have a durable ride for the Admiral that can also compete. Stress should be a risk not just a weird reward? Yeah, I'm not really buying that stock if they add it in...
