Given the assumptions about which pilots and upgrades will be getting a price increase and the uncertainty about when those changes are actually coming, is the safest bet to just fly FO/Resistance under the assumption that their prices will probably change the least whenever the changes do arrive?
Carolina Krayts is the best X-Wing podcast
Day 3 without points.
Also, the best practice is to fly the list that you think is as **** as possible.

Dank. The worst squad I can think of offhand would probably be composed of A-Wings only.

I’m loving R2-D2 on the Zealot. The 122 pt fringer is hilarious. Please tell me this was the first random list you pulled...
That Fringer build looks like something a new player would actually put on the table.

Yeah, it was actually. Random lists are great
Hey @Brunas you are involved with the probability calculator, right?
I just came across this strange occurence:
Rey pilot + Finn + 1 force + focus has lower expected damage (2.828) than Rey pilot + Finn + 1 force + calculate (3.078)
That seems wrong? A single calculate should always be worse or maximally as good as a focus, right?
Fire control system also doesn't seem to be working.

you need to have a lock. Same with Rey, she needs a force to get the bonus.

But then it will automatically spend the lock as well, giving you the exactly same expected damage as without FCS.
The only difference is in probability of keeping the lock (as far as I can see..).

I think that's as intended. If you want to maximize your results, you want to know how often you keep the lock. You can choose "reroll 1 die" as pilot ability to simulate the FCS. Then you should remove the lock.
@punkUser I also checked the "How to Modify". It appears that Rey does not use her ability to turn a blank if with only focus, but she does if with a calculate and even with calculate+focus. I opened an issue on github.
Hey I'm streaming a hyperspace tournament.

Yep, exactly that! FCS is used in the calculator solely to see how often you save the lock - the goal of an attack is always maximizing damage. Like @GreenDragoon said, you can use single reroll to simulate situations where you aren't willing to spend the lock. Just make sure remove the target lock, as though it might be counterintuitive there are situations where having a reroll and a target lock get you more damage than just having a tagret lock.
Thanks for the bug report!
Hmmm... is there a decent offensive piece for Rebels in Hyperspace for 44 points or less?

Generic U-wing is probably your best bet? Generic x-wing or a y-wing (not the y-wing) are the only other things that fit.

Yeah... I’m tapped out on Uwigs for the moment. Just used Biggs, Saw, Magva and Sabine (shuttle) to win an FO kit... Going to a bigger event tomorrow that’s hyperspace so Sabine is out. Hard to substitute there... Use Dutch maybe to add modifications to early round shots?
Plan B is four T70s...

a Gray with Torps is an actual threat that can't be taken lightly. Sure it has to get the TL first, but at worst it's a Biggs.

Uwings with coordinations help there too...
I like the sound of a Crackshot Red Squadron Veteran. Also same initative as two of the other ships in your list, so you have more activation phase flexibility

yes
Gray + torps is just 41. There was this nice thread by MasterShake on his LukeWedge 2xGray list. I just played it once and won handily against a very good player while playing horribly myself. There the Gray has an R2, which... I guess? You have 44, and some like R3 to get more flexibility.
It reminds me of the 22pt Harpoonboat back in 1.0, an actualy threat that also does its job if it just soaks damage. But considering that you have Biggs, and that Saw might give rerolls, you could even get some extra synergy for a ywing
I think you may have sold me @GreenDragoon

I expect a full battle report Bio-style tomorrow 10pm!
(good luck!)
Here's an app/feature idea: to keep track of points.
1. scan QR code on printed official squadbuilder list for your own list. Mark as 'own'
2. scan QR code on printed list, mark as opponent.
3. boxes to tick for half and full points, or count dealt damage up
Always display who is ahead on points with current hull/shields.
Is something like this around? Would that be hard to do? You need to read qr codes, get the relevant information, display it accordingly, compare the two numbers, and provide functionality to adjust points and/or health status.
