The idea is to move in the finger four, and keep Lulo aside. Mentally, I'm treating him as if he wasn't there, or as if he's playing the game alone against the whole squad. That means he's a constant threat on the side and it's not obvious when he will engage. Or that was the idea. In the end I engaged on the same turn anyway.
He got unlucky with his green, and Lulo + Optic deals unexpectedly high damage. I'm not sure how much I'll miss heroic on the generics, but I'm more fond of this version than the last after that one game.
Second game, again the same idea, second win. I now try to do the jump from beyond range 3 to right in front of my target enemy so that he either bumps or moves past me.
Again he was unlucky with greens. But that happens so frequently that it might be just the perception and it's actually a feature of the squad: I always get 2 hits, and if I block with one or he spends a focus on offense then obviously the X-wing will take a damage.
This time I switched all the crackshots for heroic, and neither did I use a single heroic nor would I have been able to use a crackshot. The 3blank1focus roll seems to happen surprisingly often since I have Heroic, but of course that's my new bias with a little bit Baader-Meinhof sprinkled on top.
