I think that's really the most competitive approach for Rebs right now.

Hard part is most of that is low init jousters which the game is inheriently hostile towards right now.

Low init jousters that only 1 forward on their own are not enough. They just get beaten by not jousting them.

Which is a big part of why the Barrage Rocket Bombers haven't inherited the earf.

Although honestly low i bois can be made viable through pricing. If you make aces expensive enough, then swarms get efficient enough to play.

Did anyone ever put Vader and five academy pilots on the board? I think I want to play some non-formation swarms for a while, and it’ll probably just end up Drea or Sloane but I’m looking for other reasonable options.

I have not played that, but Fel + 6 TIEs fits and is pretty fun.

At my local store we do second edition format and our t.o. Has put it on the table (vader and 5 ties) and has placed second out of a room of 10 twice now....of course I did not attend with my boba fenn lando list which I feel like has all the tools to bully it(the vader list has no bid so vader is pretty sad with fenn around)

another week someone else did vader howlrunner and 3 ties at 192 I believe and he won...the bid plus howlrunner feels a little stronger but then again I also feel he got pretty matchup lucky(played a new player and 2 tie swarms and a janky rebel list)

i think it’s good in limited but I’m not so sure in extended

That's been my experience; the TIE/LN doesn't have the punch to do much damage in extended and isn't threatening enough even with Howl to pull fire from Vader.

Well, I've now finished re-entering all 689 lists (would not recommend) now that list fortress can export full lists with all upgrades etc, so I have... much better stats! But instead of those, let's talk about Wedge.

Interesting, Thane is now duking it out with Rexler Brath for worst pilot that has ever made a cut - Rexler is 1 for 38.

I’m baffled that people play Thane 6.5x more often than they play Biggs for the same cost.

So what your saying is that Rexlar is a more expensive Thane? And I should just play Thane?

I mean, I'm not? Thane is higher init and his ability seems cooler on paper plus he can take an EPT.

Rexler can't be that bad: can you filter Rexler into Sensors and NoSensors?
