That interesting. My initial thought was Fenn, Boba, L3-37. L3 gives a pre maneuver Reinforce allowing Boba the option to boost (or allow him to bump into the swarm and still have Reinforce).

Works pretty well with 2x calculate + han gunner focus + contraband so you can hard turn while stressed as well.

The trouble with both Han Gunner and the re-enforce action is that it just gives sloane swarms rerolls though not an issue for wave 1.

Could throw in some rigged cargo to probably.

Seriously I’m planning to fly Fenn + Old T + Han and can’t decide if Jabba + Rigged could be an actual tactics, or just a weird gimmick.

Did anybody tried this already?

How much would the TIE Swarm liked it? And how much would it be shooting your own foot?

Honestly I think what happens is people immediately think “oh that’s just a gimmick” with Jabba, and immediately write him off. Jabba is no joke. Taking a known (good) commodity and doubling it has way more value than I feel is being given.

Asajj with 1 glitterstim? Pretty good. 2 glitterstim and countermeasures? Eff my life get that thing off the table or I’m playing someone else.

Now there’s no stims in this case (or countermeasures), but I think it illustrates how quickly things snowball in xwing. I think Elusiveness is good for the same reason. I’ve been testing it on a 8 ship z swarm with a mix of bandits and talas with elusiveness. If you get one reroll out of it, meh, that’s not the greatest. But 2 or 3, and chances are you just made a stupid cheap ship pull an extra round of fire to it.

I flew Boba with Han and Trip0 against a non-Howl mini Swarm. Boba bumped 3 turns in a row and devoured the Ties.

Now it shows up when I search for medium base ships with white boost and stress free PTL.

Yea I thought my “playstyle” was glue eating high initiative aces. But it turns out I prefer high initiative aces with trajectory simulator proton protons that are the most proton.

8 out of 10 players blind joust each other with their eyes closed and believe range control is a sign of weakness. Perfect information is available in the system phase I am sure of it. If the proton is to hard just throw a seismic at them and play asteroids. Or just take 3-4 proton simulators to be safe. They will meet you in the rocks around turn 2-3 pretty much half the time.

I think some people are going to be really upset that 2.0 is a game for two players instead of "up to 2 players"

Yeah, Chris read the credits in the scum kit, I think, that specifically called out Mr Chamblee for design on 0-0-0. Maybe that was a coruscant card? I think with the reaper and Saw’s all the player designed cards are known (outside of Simeon).

edit: do we know Justin’s? Nand and Marcel’s were wave 14.

Thanks. I’ve been trying to keep track, and unless Justin’s is in a 2.0 release pack as well, we have not seen his card yet.

Bummed Nand and Marcel weren’t given an opportunity to have their card translated over to 2.0 as well. Maybe in the future?
