I mean, its not constantly going to be askew now.

I really wonder the status of the few 2nd ed items that are out (BoLS, T65s handed out at worlds, etc). Are they final production models that just got shipped via plane instead of ship to get here earlier? Are they 'beta' or pre-production releases that had a few issues fixed? If that's the case, they could just be repaints of the existing models and the real production run is the new model. Or maybe the spinning idea just didn't work out (too fragile?) so they dropped it. I would love to learn more about their process...

The y wing is definitely a new model all together, though I'm unsure if i like it better than the old one

I'm in the still prototype stage camp. The T-65s might be complete, but I doubt much else is.

Agreed. New Y-wing seems disproportionate - too short and chubby. Or maybe that means it is correct and I'm just used to the old one.

I remember in the original rulebook they had the models that were used inthe movie and I was really impressed by the y wings proportions.

I wonder if they'll finally correct the a wings (too large) size with 2.0

Local guy here makes a really nice mod you can use.

That being said I am disappointed that they don't spin; I was really looking forward to it but now I have to mod them myself. Redacted; see below.

x-wing 1.9 league is starting tonight. (build lists with 1.0 points, put 2.0 cards in their place; can't buy stuff that's not in both editions)

So far, it's looking like a cluster**** of "which ships are most improved in 2.0." One guy asked me to borrow a Falcon for his 6-shots-a-turn triple ORS list, another guy is running triple 2400. I'm running Vessery-Ryad-Vader. I should give a prize to whoever squeezes the most 2.0 points into their list.

Unironically, without green dice scatter tokens are fine in X-wing.
