Silencer is confirmed, but I would guess no resizes for anything Imperial. The B wing might get sturdier cannons.

Actually, the Lambda maybe? those guns look super bad, so i wouldn't be surprised if they up the detail on those.

I cut all of my lambda guns off and swapped them for DUST Tactics guns. Thanks again @Starslinger72!

Did they say they were going to resize the Silencer model? I expected some updates (like the Y-Wing), but not any resizing.

Also I wasn't claiming that 4 ship rebels was a direct counter to nym, only that arc ships weren't dead (also there were some very popular imperial alpha lists for example. It was just the classic high ps token stacking repositioning at high ps game that suffered greatly)

Accuracy Corrector was only better if you are a monkey and exclusively play against dogs. It was so ******* easy to manufacture bumps with it that you didn't even necessarily need to use your turret- You could just go "here, have a damage, back to dials"

FSR2 had no intent to actually shoot you with those firing arcs to do significant damage- the list didn't give a **** about INCOMING fire, and can drift around to win on time. Or Fortress.

Nym was so god **** unpleasant to play against with arced ships that local tunrouts in most locations plummeted, or they instituted "no nym" rules via social pressure. The meta revolved around Nym until his nerf. I you were not a turret or PS 11, you could not deal with nym.

What about my definition made you think that I considered Decimator and VCX glass cannons? Considering I spoke about damage mitigation (evade action, sensor jammer, kylo crew) and arcdodging as major non-glass cannon things, your saltiness blinded you badly.

Oh, I totally misread that on four ship rebel. Or rather, missed the point!

On the AC nyms - I see them, but they're wrong. AC Nym was only really arguable with Dengar, but in all other cases AS is a straight up improvement. You can even see it in the french national: half the nyms have AS, half AC in the top 16, half AS. Same for Belguim actually.

And the other main thing is, we had plenty of accuracy corrector nyms at Nova too - they just didn't perform to the end. As far as I know it's the only complete dataset of it's type since an early worlds, so it's very eye opening in what people actually play (thanks again @Antigrapist), though I'll have to go dive through to see what the exact performances were.

edit: just checked, 9 AS v 2 AC in the top 64, vs 30 AS 15 AC that showed up to the event in total. So, pretty conclusively that (for that event) AS was the correct choice.

gonna try out "X-Wing 1.9" on the league I run now that we have all the conversion kit spoilers:

build your squad with 1.0 points and upgrade slots but 2.0 wordings. If the card isn't in both, you can't take it. Fly using 2.0 rules as best as we can manage.

I guess I'll have to put gunner slots on things... hurm

I'd take the easy way out and just put a gunner on literally anything with a turret or bombs.

I got into the game post Mathwing, so my initial thought was "Good for you?" But it didn't seem like it needed a snarky response, but this being the internet and all, that is what is devolved in to. If someone really wants to duplicate his work for 2.0, it probably wouldn't be that hard to at least make a working model estimate, especially since you can reference the 1.0 thread for the underlying logic. It just would require a lot of tedious work. Much easier for people to complain I guess than do work.

I've run 6 games now with Soontir with that same setup. Only won 2 games. Bombs, snapshot, crackshot, harpoons, stress, ect all make Soontir very very sad. Nym has his absolute way with Fel as do rebel alpha lists at PS10. A PS10 Wes that can both flight assist and BR *AFTER* Soontir moves makes Soontir very sad. Especially when he ally oops the token dumping for Expertise Wedge that can also do double repositioning. Womp womp.

It's more like that town in Pennsylvania where the coal mine caught on fire underneath the whole town and the whole town had to be evacuated. It's been burning for 40 years. I'm not making this up. Looks like ******* Chernobyl because they abandoned the whole town.
