Honestly, me too :-(.

The ONLY thing making me hopeful is 1) dynamic costs, and make him cost a LOT, and 2) since there are less kids to shut down, he hopefully won’t be worth his points, and just not be worth playing.

Special note to Chopper Droid, who while I don't see anything now, will be a problem in 1-2 years.

Homing missiles were a stupid design- They are the same as Protons, but instead of Hit-To-Crit, they have a downside that makes them useless against anything that's not an ace. Even heavy aces don't give a ****.

Static Discharge Vanes and Afterburners seem to be good on Defenders.

Outrider title:

Negates obstacle defense dice bonus = UP UP UP

Can now clear stress by just moving through obstacles not even needing to worry about blue maneuvers, who needs expert handling now? = UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP

Now Dash's ept can just be Lone Wolf or Trick Shot.....

I'm officially concerned.

I'm terrified that the initial 2.0 costs will be all based on 1.0 costs, and then they'll be too lazy to change them with any vigor.

But aces are a problem, so Fel can't get get token stacks or old Autothrusters, but Dash can get full coverage, no donut holes, and full mods on his 4 dice shot? What the actual ****?

For what it's worth, 1.0 could have been salvaged (or at least extended) by the ability to dynamically change points.

The more I say "adjustable points" the more it feels like a rote religious expression and less like something that is actually going to be exercised.

So... thumb suck guess on the points here... a fully built up Dash is likely to land somewhere around 130 points? I mean... I think it should be higher, but my expectations are low here. Vader was around 80 something in one of those demo games, right? Dash seems worth well more than half a list just based on his firepower, ability to ignore rocks, ability to use rocks to get bonuses, turret, high PS/Initiative...

Edit: I'm also aware that Dash can't do the usual dance routine... but he's hardly a sitting duck either.

Juke on howl though, now she affects herself.

Lowie-lando lists? Lowie has 3p0 lando passes reinforce/calculate you don’t want to shoot lowie. But also Lowie now passes a evade token instead of a result so it triggers the falcon title and you don’t want to shoot lando?

Yeah this whole Outrider thing is odd. It seems that everything good in the old meta has been toned down with the exception of:

1) F***ing highest PS Rebel Fenn

2) Gunner Luke acting like a pseudo 360 arc

3) TIE Defender

4) Outrider w/Dash basically allowing those playing him to have a different X-wing game than their opponents.

Why does everyone assume Dash has an EPT?

My excitement for 2.0 has reached a new low, the spoiled cards seemed extremely blend and boring (which probably was their exact goal thought).

Lando pilot seems nice, named b-wing, if priced cheaply also might be nice.

Agreed I hope it costs like 140+, or Dash does not have gunner or ept or something.
