I'm kind of mad that Dash is so good in 2.0. Dash players deserve to be in a world of hurt with all the 2.0 changes, and yet somehow they won?
I don't think they won. They lost Engine Upgrade, Lone Wolf, and Rey. They lost PTL, and the Roll is limited and red. No double repositioning and no tanky upgrades. He'll have issues.

Dont worry. The first time most Dash players get arc dodged they will throw their YT-2400 in the trash and use Luke/Falcon instead.

Yea i dont think itll be that problematic to be honest. Dash doesnt even have a forward Primary to set up a 180 right?

I suspect you're imagining it. All my guys play really fast, it's a habit I've been trying to break people of, we started counting/timing our games before the regional, we were hitting the 11 turn mark around 40 minutes in with bsing. I have never seen anyone react to my dial placement or speed in 3 years of playing competitively regularly.

Who knows, it might be? The EPT slot feels like it's taken a dip in power now that PTL and VI are gone. LW is almost certainly gone too. None of the currently revealed EPTs seem overly powerful (which is a good thing).

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Dash's effectiveness sans Lone Wolf or PTL is significantly lower.

The trend seems to be that EPTs don't really provide any new abilities to ships on the scale that they did before (ships literally defined by their chosen epts, like having Expertise or PTL).
The slot seems to be very controlled and generally only provide boosts to ships already-present abilities (ie. "Expert Handling" changing your red single-B.rolls to white, etc.).
Overall, I like it a lot. Talents make sense, are still cool and helpful, aren't OP, and lend themselves more to the thematic presence of good pilots making their ships more viable and incredible rather than tagging some wild mechanical advantage to a ship or pilot and making all other variations unusable.
