It's there to pump your main ace, but give Boba Expertise and an HLC, and Fel/Vader/Whoever gets to strip shields (guaranteed), set up TL for the Spray, who then gets Focus/TL action free.

Scimitar with this dude and Captive seems really solid for 21 points. Block and give an action to your most important ship all day long. The Reaper version is 26 and also seems decent.

So, how long until they release errata that stops you from making an Optimized Prototype RAC?

Since you assign the condition before any ships have shields, RAW, it works.

RAC with VI, Engine, Kylo, Krennic, Captive, and 38 points of assorted ace seems good for an FCS RAC with +1 health and the ability to make his whiffs useful. Or put on Gunner to make it annoying.

RAC has 4 shields so no Optomized Prototype.

I don't believe a reasonable judge is going to allow that... Though I'm sure a few here and there will... See also IG-2000 needing the Scum Only restriction...

I'm just sad it does very little to disrupt the defensiveness of the 100 point rebel ace. Reinforce is not affected. It does give the other player more time to do damage and be aggressive though, with limited amounts of offense coming back at you.

Wait, I'm not sure that works? The wording on the card is "a ship at range 1 that is not jammed" so I don't think you can jam the same target with two of these fun guys... that said... the poor sap that kept his swarm of ships in close formation is going to be very sad.

Though I was more lukewarm on the Genius Tragedy, saying it could be read both ways (since X-wing is not rigidly written...), but likely would be "fixed" to nuke it if the devs had any sense.
