I looked at that. Not enough points for good loadouts on the three aces. Maybe if you wanna do FAA+VI+Servos+IA on all of 'em. But poor little Artoo, separated from his master...

I think I've gotta agree with the "EnD Of THe WRLd DuMPstR FiRE TriPLe X-WingS is DEAD!!!" crowd. The Wedge-Wes-Luke trio is no longer optimal. Not that that's the worst thing ever. But still a little sad.

Edit: never mind, just barely fits! FAA/VI/Servos/IA on all X-Wings except Luke, who gets Artoo. Rex with no upgrades.

This is assuming 20 points base for the PS 1, if it's 19 you can run 4X and a 30 point ship, aka Probably Lowhrick.

Inb4 cavern angles also cost 21 base but have an illicit.

I was thinking OpSpec might be a good crew, too. If you're right about Cavern Angels (which would be pretty sweet in its own way), the lone Support Z with Thread Tracers (probably Blount) seems pretty cool, but maybe not as good. I'm not sure about the Illicit in that case, but there's probably something cool you can do.

I keep thinking theres an answer with a bunch of cheap xs and an op spec carrier. We tested it in early fsr days and found it really impressive

either Ezra with Opspec or maybe a Blue Squad Pathfiner (only 24 with Opspec, col detector, and refit)

Alternatively, Saw with Selflessness, Col Detector, Courier Droid, Chopper, Refit is 24 as well, and gives rerolls at Range 1/2 if you just K-turned/Talon rolled/are injured.

Could be just about there now. In the past I felt just a step behind the meta lists with 4Xs. A support ship might be enough to tip it over that line. I might fire up vassal tonight to play with it a bit.

This new article just gave my local scene a literal boost. I know better than to get to excited ( gunboats were only good for 7 days, never again will I have great expectations )...but the X-Wing fix has had an immediate and positive impact on morale.

Wedge is extremely fun now.

One of the reasons I like the fenn idea is using the ps11 to repositions on the x wings which now have the corresponding actions.

Rey lowhrick won beating nym miranda in one of the most thrilling final game I have watched.

3 defenders made top4 only losing to ion bomb nym miranda (and beating in the cut ghost fenn, another nym miranda and palpaces)

Palpaces lost all but 1 of their cut games. There were more defenders than qds in the top 8

Dare I say I had fun. Like legit my decisions matter I'm actually playing X-wing again fun. I may drop intensity in the future and go with VI and a 2 point bid instead. Give me a better opportunity to do naughty things to Dash's donut and maybe get a bid against the inevitable Miranda matchup and reposition better against her. Bomb lists will absolutely murderizie this. Alpha strike high PS Scum lists probably hurt too. But this is pretty enjoyable.
