That‘s part of why I‘m asking, because I sometimes think I‘m going crazy. And believe it or not, but I tend to search for my own mistakes first before figuring out whether others are wrong. So the past 1 or rather 2 years were a bit of a rollercoster in that sense, too, apart from the general rollercoster.

I have to track political and cultural things happening worldwide as part of my job, to see what could be coming and what we'd need to do about it. It used to be a much more positive exercise. It isn't new, but it is more openly done now. I still cringe at some complaints that land on my desk...
