On Bourbon, they are very very different. I do not like high Rye whisky. I think Knob Creek is terrible. I would much rather have Jim Beam than Knob Creek. Some people like them if they are a bit more sweet. Maker's Mark is probably a good start for drinking whisky neat. But seriously, try a bunch. You might learn Bourbon isn't quite your thing. Then try Irish whisky, peaty Scotch, less peaty Scotch, or maybe something Bourbon adjacent like Bernheim. My favorite right now is Filibuster dual cask. And if you like your whisky slightly chilled but do not like it watered down, grab some whisky stones.

I know everyone is memeing, but if you actually want a wholesome, fun, and not-trash list, try this out.
I deem it the Agency Locker- nothing can burgle your agency now. Blocking PS 1 ships that have a bid? Or what about the Silencer, that via Advanced sensors, can't be blocked? Everything can reposition, Blackout has Autothrusters for turret resistance, and everything has a 84 degree arc.
Fly it if you refuse to have your agency burgled and want to remain wholesome. It actually does pretty well vs. the field, although it does not like Fenn+Ghost.
(P.S.- Dude who "blocked" my Blackout with a Higher-PS ship at my LGS- You didn't actually block me if i barrel rolled specifically to bump you and then grabbed a TL before ramming into your ship- You just let me choose a different place to end up. )

I LOVE people that don't understand blocking. I don't care if you block me if I end up in a better spot - you just made me change my tactics.

I hope so, it's my new player list.
It's not actively good or bad, but I think it helps demonstrate what makes things like push the limit good without making invincible miserable to play against stuff

Whiskey stones, you plebs.

Water opens up the flavor pleb. I own stones, don't use them.
That depends very much on what you are drinking. Most of my favourite single malts absolutely do not call for water.
On the subject of Nationals prizing...
And we just asked for our refund last week! The trip is very much not affordable when you're not splitting the bill with someone else, but rather bringing the whole family along...
In other news, most FLGS have yet to receive a rebel bomber still! GG Asmodee Canada, so much winning!

What's Zack running?
I think we should all rejoice at FFG's choices for Xwing. Show how happy we all are... No, I haven't been drinking. I did just glue my finger to a metal gaming miniature I was assembling though. Forgot how fiddly that process was...

Trip Wookiees. 4-2, missed the cut, the curse is real, in the most brutal fashion.
If you missed by 34 MoV or less, I’m sorry.
I know the feel. I missed the Indy regional cut by ~30 MOV too.

Was it a Top 8 or Top 16 cut?
How does huge ship damage work? You can target specific weapons and parts of the ship right?

16, nearly half of the 4-2s made it.
And the 34 MoV just dropped you behind Marcel. Rekt.
Edited by AEIllingworthI lost to Marcel in the last round of Swiss. What a great day. Everthing was perfect. I' leaving the event in such a great mood. All y'll are top shelf human beings.
And now....scotch!

You can’t target weapons. You target either the front or rear section of the ship providing you have arc and LoS to both sections (sections block LoS based on the centre line). Damage is dealt from the deck for the appropriate section.
Then your ship explodes due to the incoming barrage of Harpoons...
?
I' playing kylo and a 53 point bid in the redemption tournament.
Also...still scotch.
