Well, six. One of them is very dead before it can shoot.

Not really. the sheer number of Arcs is so large the Ghost can't dodge them all, and because the TLT shot is at the end phase, a Z-95 is very unlikely to die in the first turn.

That's fair. (Well, I wouldn't say "very unlikely," as one of them is likely taking a modified primary, in addition to whatever lucky damage Fenn sticks, but yeah. Not at all certain.)

A fully Modified primary is only likely to do 2.5 damage (unless range one, at which point it is 3.43, so maybe dead) and Fenn is basically irrelevant other than the focus strip. But yes, the chances of death are high, but by no means certain, and 5-6 fully modified shots into fenn/ghost is still scary. Does this mean it is a hard counter? no, almost certainly not. Just that it has a fairly good match compared to many other things.
Edited by Do I need a UsernameI'm conflicted, because I want to fly that list really bad, but I don't want to have to buy 5 more Rebel Z-95s...

True enough. But only Blair can make it survive against anything else it will face, in a meta teching against Mauler Ghost. (For example, I took Treadmill Asajj.)

There was only incorrect blathering. I forgot that Blair and Dee played in the Fresno top 4 before the Sheathipede was out.

Ah. That would change things.
Am I the only one spending all day frantically checking for a Worlds email?
As part of the Kraytcoin/Skill card bounty, i'm making a lot more card designs- One idea that I had i still can't find an art asset for is bugging me.
new bounty- find a high res (At least 500 pixels wide) image of the original art for Intensity (front) and email it to me. Prize is... probably more cards.
Also, what's the coolest card design that you guys have thought of?
Who Day 1B here???
I'm Day None!

Me to. Just means more practice reps for my first worlds in 2019 ![]()
So I didn't apply for worlds- I'm not gud enough to warrant it, nor do I want to explain at work why i'm taking a vacation 1 week after I last took a vacation. Should I have signed up in hope of getting day 1C so that it could be sold to the highest bidder anyways?

Last year I went to worlds the week after having been in Europe for two weeks.

it's a little stranger for me, as I have mandatory vacations in my field (futures trading)- I'd have to take my mandatory vacation, and then tell someone else to change when their mandatory vacation is to not be 2 weeks after mine.
Also, I'm not sure that i would want to spend a week traveling to go to FFG, particularly given the meta. I've decided that Coruscant (if i make it) will be my big event this year.

This I get. I'd have to spend a lot of money on hotel and the PTL bus to get stomped by a meta I'm not fond of. At least GenCon has some business coverage to help cover the costs and time.

What event will be at GenCon?

North American Championships
All this ticket nonsense has me thinking of the unintended consequences from the listener series.
Mid day on a weekday sucked, but it insures the people that really cared were trying hardest to get in. A lottery lets everyone throw their name in, so people that are mildly interested have a much higher chance of getting in this time.
Unless that is an intended consequence, and they really think coruscant is the competitive event this year and worlds is more fun/convention?
