Hah! S'ok, I'm busy this weekend too. Also trying hard to make a list work for the Jek Porkins Memorial tournament next week. Starting to wonder about maybe "Fair Ship Porkins" is the way to go and just be obnoxious all day.

What, Porkins with PTL and R5-D8? Roll a green die and maybe, just maybe get rid of a damage card? Don't think for a moment I haven't had that in a list a few times already.

It's a local tourney, I'd never heard of the format before. No matter what faction you play, you need to put Jek Porkins in that list. So, between 25-30% of your list ends up devoted to him. Also thinking about Porkins escorted by Gunboats, just for the heck of it.

Yes. But if you don't have points, ignore PTL. Gunkins sounds fun, but you know you want to put more T-65s in there...

How'd the objectives hold up to live fire?

Well, I ended up at the Roseville regional with four copies of flight-assist Astromech. Wes, two Rookies, and a titled Gold. I ended up 4-2, getting wins against Dash/Miranda/Poe/Nym pick two, and Asajj Boba (though I probably should have lost that one) and losing to ps11 cruise missiles (which was winnable) and trip defenders (which was not).

The podcast mentioned that no one was doing testing, so I thought I better chime in. This is my best regional performance (anecdotal) and everything was on fire at the end of every game. I had about the worst MoVs of the 4-2, but the numbers were just about right that no 4-2s made it anyway.

It probably deserves a bit more testing, but no amount of action economy and repositioning will make wave 1 ships punch though x7 defenders. The only reason I made it as far as I did was flight assist dragging those old ships around.

I’m tired of running uphill and I’m going to switch to gunboats, but when I get the urge I think they are very much worth revisiting with t-70s.

It was very fun, and has a good matchup against lower ship counts and bombs, but doesn’t really have a hard punch for the very defensive ships. Four titled golds or four ps2 t-70s probably a better all around list, but Wes Janson is priceless in a munitions meta.

Sorry Nathan and i couldn't finish the top 50 invitational, we will play and try stream the final game when we get how in milwaukee.

Blame UPS- There were supposed to be 300 FAA's to hand out at Krayt Cup, so that people wouldn't be unable to test 4x FAA lists due to not wanting to buy 3 pointless Sheathopiedes.

Yeah, to clarify, 4 T70s is the list I've tested on Vassal a fair bit and I love it.

Is that episode peak krayt?

Is the right choice here a slaver with Jabba, and that's it? That leaves 16 points leftover to fortress. Why put points on a ship that will surely die? With a 16 point bid, an undamaged Asajj is worth 65, putting her into or above fat turrets. At half points she's holding 41, which isn't as much as a heavy ace, but does now outpoint all the standard aces.

The real answer is that you don't need 4 glitterstims, so get rid of the YV altogether. 49 point bid!
